Whatcha chuggin? Oh...right...the bike. I was thinking...beer. But, I guess its a bit early in the day for that. For most people anyways.

What a day, what a day. Had a Superintendents meeting at lunch at an italian place. That pretty good cause italian is not my weakness. Ordered a pretty light dish, but the put these really fresh rolls right in front of me and I had gobbled 2 before i even thought about it. I guess I did so so. gonna do a long (for me) walk tonigh on the High School Track.

Hope these shoes are rated for fat boys.

you probably did better then you think, the worst part about the rolls, if you skipped the oil and butter, is that its a carb and spikes your blood glucose and makes you want to eat more. Italian is my downfall. I'd have eaten till I barfed.

I always wonder if they road test shoes on really fat people...how does one get a job doing that?

mmmm, fresh rolls... wouldn't beat yourself up too much about it but next time you go for a walk give yourself an extra lap.

I think this has got to be more moderation than deprivation if it stands any chance of sticking so have a roll or two isn't the end of the world. We're big boys and need to take in our fair share of calories especially if we're adding exercise to the mix.

Calories in and calories out and all that jazz...

btw, sign me up to be a sneaker tester when you track down the application site...

Good job Brawny77...that italian is not your weakness!...I can't say the same...give me some fetticini Alfredo and I could just founder on it! (And gain 10 pounds for just smelling it!) I agree with feelinggooder...just put in an extra lap on your next walk/run..on the track...remember back when I ran track back in highschool...now, that was a long time ago! Have fun and enjoy the fresh air!

Not to make my Northern buddies mad but it was 68 and sunny yesterday. I went to the track and walked and walked. There was a high school girl working on her hurdles and a dad helping his son pitch and the baseball team practicing off to my left....SPRING!!!!! well almost. Yall can laugh at me in June when its 104 here but yesterday...that was a good day.....By the way Im sore as hell today. But at least I know I have muscles cause they are sore!

Great job on the workout. Weather report does make me a little resentful, particularly because I can't even look forward to the June ribbing as it'll be roughly the same temperature here as it will be there and we'll have humidity to deal with in addition to the heat....

Hmmmm, too cold in the winter, too warm in the summer... this is the first place I've lived where spring and fall aren't merely gateway drugs to the better seasons....

You're workout sounds wonderful Brawny! Being sore from a good workout is always a "good" sore...and the temperatures...well, let's just say we're no where near that here in Shenyang today...so enjoy it while you can friend!

Walked again last night....I met my exercise goals for the week....You may all get up off the floor after fainting from shock.

After I walked I helped my sons work out for track (old coach here) One (16) is over 6'1 and 170. He ran a mile in 6.03 Holy crap! The other one who is built more like pops is 13 and 5'11" and 187. He threw the disc (JR High one) about 95 feet. That should win district but I think I can get him at least 10 more feet by then. It was just so dang fun!

Didnt walk as fast cause I was sore but it worked most of it out.

Then I had a milkshake.....I know, I know

Congratulations on meeting your exercise goals Brawny! Not fainting at all...very proud! Thanks to "the challenge", I did 5.3k on the treadmill this week (I had planned to do 7k, but just didn't find the time). I'm sure your sons like it that you are there with them...(they might not say it, but to have you involved and energetic around them is so good!). Thank you for being a good Dad for our next generation!

mmmm rolls. possibly better then doughnuts. good work getting outside on the track. sounds like your workout is key on. you didnt do to bad with the pasta so everything looks good. keep up the good work!

What...no one even fussed at me for the milkshake. Yall are too easy on me.

Weighed in.......may I have the envelope please.......276......how bout them apples! And thats on that damn new scale too! This is the lightest I have been in 10 years. I think maybe like 12 years.

Thats 26lbs gone since Dec 26th

The next 25 will be sooooo satisfying.

Yeeaaah! doesn't it feel great!!! Good job! NOW You Better Lay off the milkshakes if you wanna keep up the losss!!! (OK you asked so I had to give you shit for it)

Congratulations Brawny!! them apples are great!! :cheers2:

Way to go man...see...you kept on doing what you needed to do...you didn't give up and now, you have the results there right in front of you!! The next 25 will be satisfying...my guess is they will be a little harder too! That's been my experience (sucks!). Even if you call me roll model of the month...I think I'm on a plateau weight wise...I'll find out this coming week when the 1st of March rolls around...I'll probably need some of your motivation!

Keep up the good work Brawny!

Sarah

WTG Brawnster!

Great job on making the weekly goals because a few of us didn't and getting into new territory on the scale must be very motivating.

Didn't see you post this week's goals yet. Same thing plus a couple hundred total pushups maybe?

Ok new goals for this week.

Eat 1800-2000 cal max per day

Total of six exercise sessions either bike or walk.

3x20 crunches 4 days

3x20 pushups 4 days

Im gettin sore just typing those last two

The pain part of "no pain, no gain" is a bitch

Maybe I should just order me a t-shirt that says "body by Little Debbie".....Guess not....someone pass the barbell please

I feel about as good as Im gonna on a Monday

Rode bike this morning

May have to split push ups into sets of 10 instead of 20 but will try and get the total in.
