BmOhearn's diary

I went out to eat today with my boyfriend Danny, with the gift certificate i got from my uncle for christmas. It was a very unthoughtful gift. The colonial tavern was a bar, (the name on the gift certificate) but we went downstairs to the colonial restaurant which we could use the gift certificate at, and it was a complete 90 year old couple restaurant. But i had a couple clam strips, diet pepsi, a cheeseburger, and some fries.

319 calories for the cheeseburger
270 calories for the clam strips
130 calories for the french fries

thats a total of 719 calories. Not that good. But i'm going to exercise a bunch tonight. So hopefully that will make up for it. I dont know what i'm eating for supper. But if i CAN... i'm just going to make a grilled cheese sandwich. That is only 290 calories, and that would fit within my diet awesomely. I'll update later when i've had dinner.

right now i'm just going to bike for like a half of an hour.
336 calories gone. YEY

Here's my routine for exercising:

30 minutes of biking
25 jack knife sit ups
25 sit-ups working on my left obliques
25 sit-ups working on my right obliques
25 sit ups with a leg lift on the left
25 sit-ups with a leg lift on the right
25 jack knife sit ups again
30 minutes of biking again.

That usually makes me feel pretty good. My ab chair obviously is a big help with exercising for me. And i love it because i can do it while watching t.v. or something.

LATER!!

Mess up for dinner... well, not really bad. Just not grilled cheese. I had 2 bisuits (186 calories each) and about a cup of chicken noodle soup. Maybe even a little less. (75 calories)

that brings my total to 1166 calories for the day. i'm so full. But if i get hungry i'm going to make myself a grilled cheese, and i wont feel bad, because that will still only bring me to 1456, and that is still ok. But i really am full. So i dont think that will happen.

i did my 30 minutes of biking. I might do more biking before my sit-ups, or at least wait a while before doing them because i'm full, and dont want to burst. lol.

i never did my sit ups yesterday. I did another 30 minutes of biking to bring it up to 1 hour. But Danny's little brother needed help on his homework, so i helped him, and i helped myself so some hot cocoa with some fluff. Only 140 calories. It was delicious, and i had a huge craving. But the craving is gone now. My total calories for yesterday was 1306. I'm happy with that. I exercised off 672 calories as well. I decided to measure myself yesterday, so i could tell where i'm losing most of the weight.

all in inches::
Waist: 36.5
Hips: 44
neck: 14
Thighs: 26
Knees: 17
Wrist: 6.5
Forearm: 9

I'm not happy with them, but i'm working on it ... so i guess its ok for now.

i found a website that gives you all sorts of facts. Here's what i found::

189,000 calories extra on my body. Which is the equivalent to 945 doughnuts!! (that is such a depressing thought)

I have 31.75% Body Fat
30.38 BMI
1729.2 BMR

Here's the site i got it from:

There is links on the page to the other calculations.

today I woke up early enough to have breakfast.

i had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a glass of apple juice and some fresca.

Bread: 100 calories
Cheese: 120 calories
Ham: 45 calories
Apple Juice: 120 calories
Fresca: 0 calories

Total of 385 calories for breakfast.

I have work today from 2pm-10pm. I'll probably get out really early, but whatever, who cares. I'm tired of not having a job. it bothers me. I have to take a shower, do my hair and make up, eat lunch, and maybe bike before i go to work. Only 2 hours left. So i might just bike when i get back.

I hope i can lose my 2 pounds this week... so i must exercise every day.

Hey there BmOhearn - being armed with facts and numbers is a GOOD thing :)

it sure is motivational. It makes me want to keep going. Its scary to think about how many doughnuts i have extra on my body with me all the time!!!

Wow!! I love your research. Thanks for the links. I think I know I am about half fat but it would be interesting to find out. Time for me to do that inches (centimetres) thing too.

I'm not sure if I could handle knowing how many doughnuts I am carrying!

Good work with your weight loss plans. :)

OMG felici! i was shocked. its amazing. when i read how many doughnuts i was carrying around... i thought of all the doughnuts in a doughnut shop... on my body. i hope i can reach a day that its about 2 doughnuts or something. lol.

Hey everyone! I had an ok day today. i didnt have a small amount of calories.. but stayed below 1500.

I already posted breakfast.
lunch: Grilled Ham and Cheese with a water bottle. 265 calories

For dinner i had a sort of bad meal. Spaghetti and meatballs. I couldnt find the exact amount of calories... but i tried to find an estimate. About 826 calories. Its not good for a meal.. but i had a total of 1476 calories for the day, and that is not bad at all. I am going to bike, and then do some sit-ups. i'll update later with exactly what i did.

Today was my last day at Macy's doing inventory. YEY. I need another job now. I want to go snowboarding with Danny before i get one though. So maybe we will go next week. :)

Oooh, Snowboarding sounds like it'd burn off those speghetti and meatballs in a couple of hours! :D haha You're justified! :p

I did 150 sit ups.. all the one's in my line - up previously posted.
i also did 30 minutes of biking. A total of 522 calories burned off. From that 1476 calories that i ate today... that leaves a total of 954 calorie intake that didnt get burned off from my exercise. I just want to relax now. I had a long day at work. If i get bored i will do another half hour of biking. that gives me something to do while i watch tv. But for right now i'm going to play on my computer. Whatever. I think i did good today. i didnt eat over 1500 calories... and i still exercised. Not as good as i could do... but still great. Oh well... better luck tomorrow.

Great is great. That ticker has shifted and is looking determined! :)

Snowboarding!! Very cool. I went sandboarding, while on holidays with my family in September. I was proud of myself for trying, because it was scary to try. However, the biggest hill, I didn't try. I got over being scared about going down - but we were parked at the top of that dune and it was so big and steep I was scared I might not be able to walk back up!! It would be good if I could get my body in good enough shape to join in whatever we decide to try next September in New Zealand!!

Anyway looking forward to hearing about your snowboarding adventures. Have you done it before?

Yay B!!!! you are doing well. Good job on calories and exercise:) Even though you may not have the best low cal meals it is how you do overall that counts:) keep it up and watch that ticker fly:D

felici: i've only gone snowboarding once before, and it was a lot of fun. But i never took lessons so i wasnt that good at it. I'm going again next week, and i'm going to take adult lessons first so that i can at least go down some slopes. lol. i'm a scaredy cat!!

Mishi: I dont have the best low-cal meals. But i dont think i could. I think the reason i've made it on this diet for so long it because i can eat what sounds good to me, as long as a add up to a good number of calories, even though i try to stay away from the bad things.
