Bindu's Weight Loss Dairy

I did stick to my diet/workout plan yesterday as well. But, my food cravings seem to have started, now that I am 3 weeks past my diet plan :-( Also I have been FEELING very hungry yesterday and today (not that I have an empty stomach!)

But I am trying my level best to keep my motivation on...I am trying to concentrate on other things whenever I get thoughts about the food...

Guyz please do suggest me the ways to keep my motivation on... I don't wanna leave it amid...

I did manage to be upto the mark yesterday as well, with an exception. I had a small meal at late night, becoz I was very hungry :-(

I am drinking considerable amount of diet pepsi. Not sure if it's fine.

My fitness level really improved!!!

In the beginning I was hardly able to so jump the rope 1000 times in 1 hour. Now I am able to do 2000 jumps in 1 hour!!!
That's pretty cool....

:-( :-( :-(

I am in trouble...
Intense skipping went wrong...
My ankle started paining and has a swelling...
I cannot properly walk because of ankle pain...
I had to stop workouts which involve my legs, meaning almost all the cardio workouts I do, including skipping, which is my primary weight loss tool...

:-( I am very unhappy I had to stop exercising. I should have taken a little slow on skipping...
I am very sad I had to take a pause in my weight loss program...
I don't think now, I can reach my goal weight of 125 lbs by 01-Jan-13...

Here is my diet/workout plan until my ankle gets 100% well:-
I will have less than 1000 calories diet, involving as many proteins as possible and as less carbohydrates as possible.
Strictly no workouts involving legs. But will try some weights and very light exercises that do not involve legs, 1 hour a day.
My goal until my ankle gets ok is not to lose weight, but to maintain my current weight.

Today is Sunday (IST) and I did check my weight. I didn't lose as much weight as I lost the previous weeks. I lost a little more than 1 lb. I am a bit disappointed, but this seems to be a healthy weight loss.

Weight on 25-Nov-12 ---138 lbs (Original weight)

Weight on 02-Dec-12 ---135 lbs

Weight on 09-Dec-12 ---132 lbs

Weight on 16-Dec-12 ---129 lbs

Weight on 23-Dec-12 ---128 lbs

Short-term Goal weight --- 125 lbs (to be reached by 01-Jan-13) ^^^^^^^^^IMPOSSIBLE NOW^^^^^^^^
Long-term Goal Weight --- 115 lbs (to be reached by 10-Feb-13)

hmmm...

I am having less than 1000 calories, with very little exercise. My ankle still hurts. I am waiting for my ankle to get OK, so I can start on my exercise and have some extra food.

One happy thing to share...My younger brother came home, he saw me and yelled, "Oh my god... You got soo thin... How did you do it???". He is the same guy who told me a year ago, "Sis... you look fat."

:) :) :)

My ankle started getting better, but I would still estimate it to take one more week before it becomes completely normal.
Am able to do only very light exercise. I just wish I do not put in weight...

I checked my weight today in spite of today not being Sunday. To my surprise, I now weigh 126.7 pounds. I think subconsciously, I want to somehow reach my Weight Loss Goal by 01-Jan-13 and probably that is the reason why I started taking way too less number of calories since I hurt my ankle, to compensate lack of workout. I am unable to do any intense exercise because of my ankle injury, but here are the amount of calories I had since my injury:-

22-Dec-12 695
23-Dec-12 490
24-Dec-12 630
25-Dec-12 900
26-Dec-12 480

I am not feeling weak and am doing good with the above calories.
Looks like I will be able to reach my Short-term goal... Will check my weight again on 31-Dec-12.

Weight on 25-Nov-12 ---138 lbs (Original weight)

Weight on 02-Dec-12 ---135 lbs

Weight on 09-Dec-12 ---132 lbs

Weight on 16-Dec-12 ---129 lbs

Weight on 23-Dec-12 ---128 lbs (<128 lbs actually)

Weight on 27-Dec-12 ---126.7 lbs

Short-term Goal weight --- 125 lbs (to be reached by 01-Jan-13) ^^^^^^^^^POSSIBLE NOW^^^^^^^^
Long-term Goal Weight --- 115 lbs (to be reached by 10-Feb-13)

It is all going on OK with the diet and workout. My ankle is much better now though I don't think I am ready for skipping. I am gradually planning to increase the calories as well as workout. I should check my weight tomorrow morning, and see if reached my 01-Jan-2013 Goal Weight :)

Today is 31-Jan-12 (IST) and is the day to check if I have reached my Short-term Goal Weight.

And Yessssssss.... I did it. I am now 124 lbs, 1 lb less than my short-term Goal Weight... :) :) :)

All that hard work magically paid off... I can now happily welcome the New Year :)

My next Goal Weight is 115 Lbs. I am now also including another Goal Weight of 110 lbs and that would be it. Once I reach 110 lbs or 50 kgs, it would then all be about maintaining that weight.

This is pretty cool... This forum played a huge role in keeping me motivated. This forum made me accountable for my diet and exercise. I don't think I would ever have done it, without this platform. Thank you very much http://weight-loss.fitness.com and all those who viewed this thread and gave valuable suggestions.

Very Very Happy New Year to All......

yay!!! congrats to you for meeting your goal!!! Must feel fantastic!!!! Happy New Year to you too!! Your long term goal sounds so little, can I ask how tall you are???

Well.. it's all going on OK with diet and exercise.
I am trying not to relax just because I have achieved my 1st short-term goal.
I am trying to recollect all the time that I am only half my way. But I am not doing real intense workout, as my ankle still is sensitive. Am not sure if I should go see the doctor. Am having around 1000 calories, as much protein as possible and as less carbs as possible. Will check my weight again coming Sunday.

Am adhering to diet/workout plan.
But I was feeling dizzy when I woke up today morning. May be I had less calories yesterday, than I thought I did.
Am not sure if I should continue with my workout as my ankle had inflammation yesterday. I don't want to stop exercising, because if I do, I will have to cut down my calories even more.

Things aren't bad today. But I am not happy with my ankle as I am unable to do intense workout.
I just wish I should lose at least 1 pound a week. Else, it wouldn't be possible to reach my weight loss goals before the deadlines.
Should check my weight tomorrow...

Drink lots of water. This will help with the inflammation and weight loss. Use ice on your ankle to reduce the swelling.

Sure, thanks, @Quercus

I checked my weight today (Sunday IST) morning.
Have lost 1.5 pounds. Am now 122.5 lbs.
I still need to lose 7.5 lbs in 5 weeks... That's quite a challenge, because, I could sense now that my body is not burning as many calories as it used to burn when I was 138...

Weight on 6-Jan-13 --- 122.5 lbs

I once again started skipping yesterday. But once again my ankle started getting inflamed. Am not sure when once again will I be able to workout intense :-(
Without intense workout, it would be hard to reach my weight loss goals.
Also my food cravings seem to have started as I was on strict diet since past 50 days. I should restrict myself for 2 more months to reach my weight loss goal !!

It's hard, it's tough....it's unbearable :-(

I'm sorry to hear you are having such a hard time, Bindu.
If you can't do intense workouts, perhaps doing less intense but longer duration workouts is an idea. Also don't forget that you've come a long way already, and you are still doing great!

Thanks, @mrxian :)

I am really having hard time now, trying to control my food cravings... For example, right now, I badly feel like having a pizza :-(
If I order a pizza, I cannot stop with 2 slices. That's just not possible.

Ohhh God.... Please give me strength to control myself....

Yes, I did stand up to the mark yesterday. I did not give in to my Pizza craving. I had some low calorie food and started exercising and thus diverted myself. It is very important to keep myself motivated and not to give up. Coz, if I give up one day, I will eventually give up all days.

Also, I make a promise to this forum. Before I give in (which I SHOULD NOT) to my food craving, I WILL WRITE IT HERE.

To get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (and of course maintaining it) is one of my New Year resolutions. I have to achieve it at any cost. Your suggestions are valuable to me, they give me lots of energy to get going...
