Bindu's Weight Loss Dairy

One more Sunday... bright and happy ones...

I checked my weight. I did go down a little bit compared to last week, I am now 113lbs.
The more I go down, the more I fear of maintaining it...
But I have committed to myself, that I would be 110 lbs.
Hence I have no other way except working towards it.

Am taking 1300 healthy calories a day. But any intense workout, even if it is just for 30 minutes, is making me fell exhausted and dizzy.

It's all going on good. I am healthy, active, energetic and doing intense workout for 30 minutes a day and consuming 1300 calories a day.

Things are pretty cool..
I have lots of energy, am working out intense and am still doing good... Am trying out various foods like Pizza...(Oops)
But am making sure, I don't exceed 1500 calories.

One more Sunday here and my morning weight is 112.5 lbs or 51 Kgs
Not bad I guess. Am happy to lose half a pound in a healthy way...

Am little late in posting my weight this Sunday. My Grandma expired and I attended her funeral. She is a great lady and always has a smile on her face. I love her and am sure she would be resting in peace in heaven :)

I now weight 111.5 pounds. I am kind of fluctuating amid of the week, but this is my weekend weight.
Am happy right now, but still 1.5 pounds to go.

I didn't post last Sunday. That's because, I weighed more or less the same as the previous week, 111.3 lbs.
I was feeling weak previous week, but this week, I just did good. 1500 calories and 1500 jumps is just working fine.
Any less food or any more workout, is proving to be bad, though.

I checked my weight today morning. And guess what?? Today IS THE DAY. Throughout the last week, I have been fluctuating between 110 lbs and 111 lbs, but today I did weigh 110 lbs (50 Kgs) And yup, I did it and am happy :)

Am thankful to this forum for keeping me motivated, for teaching me, and I thank all those people who gave me warm suggestions. If I hadn't enrolled into this forum, I would have still been weighing 140 pounds. I will keep posting, coz I now should maintain this weight...

Am posting here after a long time...
It's all going good... I suffered from chicken pox recently but I am all good now...

I am glad I am able to maintain my weight...
But now, things are going in reverse... My weight hasn't yet stopped going down!!!
I am now 107 pounds (48.5 Kgs) with BMI 19! (My Goal weight was only 50 Kgs or 110 lbs)
If I lose couple more pounds, I would be UNDERWEIGHT!!!!
I am trying to fix this. I am re-analyzing the amount of calories I need to take for the amount of exercise I am doing...

I don't want to be Underweight :-(

sounds like you're doing great! make sure you don't go underweight though, that's not good for the body either.

I now weigh 108 pounds. That's a pound more than my previously posted weight, which was 107 lbs, when I looked like I was heading towards becoming Underweight..

I now kind of figured out, my calorie requirements, to maintain my weight.
On a lazy day, with zero exercise, I need 1400 calories to maintain my weight. But if I am working out(1500 jumps in 30 minutes), I would need 1700 calories (I wish I should be right), since my metabolism really kicks in when I workout. The day I have a Pizza, I should slightly increase my workout to 2000 jumps (in 40 minutes).

hmm.. this plan should be good. Will post here after a while, to update if the plan could really maintain my weight.

I really am having hard time maintaining this weight (108 lbs). Recently, I started experiencing heart palpitations. I am also suffering from polymenorrhea. If I eat good, I am gaining weight. If I eat reasonable, I am having all sorts of problems, including weakness. I do not know if I have an altogether separate problem, or if it is all related to my weight loss and attempt to maintain a low weight... In general, before I started losing weight, I am a healthy person.

If anybody has any idea, please let me know... :-(

Are you making sure that the calories that you have are healthy calories? It is important to have enough protein and other good things in your diet... Also to have a load of important vitamins and minerals.

It's been more than a year!!

I could maintain my weight of 110 lbs or 50 Kgs since March-2013 until a month ago. I have put on little weight since a month. I am now 115 Lbs :-(
I have been lately eating A LOT with no exercise. I am sure if I follow this lifestyle, I will not stop at 115 Lbs, but I will just keep putting on...

Hence I am back to this forum, with a goal to go back to 110 Lbs, slim and fit, in one month from now, by my Birthday :)

I have 5 weeks from now. I need to lose 1 lb per week. Calorie deficit should be 500 calories per day.

The calories that I burn in a day with no exercise = 1500(approximately)

I am planning to eat 1500 calories and the remaining deficit should come from Exercise and After-burn.

Let me see how it goes. Please wish me all the best :blush5:

My today's report of diet and workout:-

I took 1400+600+50 = 2050 calories

Guess what, my brunch today is a Pizza Buffet :biggrinjester: with dessert

Calories I burnt in Cardio= 110. I did some weights for 15 minutes.

Since I am currently deficient in calcium, I am planning to drink as much of fat free milk as I can...

Day before yesterday:-

I took 1700 calories. (200 calories more than my ideal calories, 1500 :-(
I burnt 80 calories in cardio. Afterwards, my foot started hurting, and hence I stopped.
I did weights for 20 minutes.

Yesterday:-

Yesterday is a very bad day. I took 2400 calories with NO exercise... Well this is how I gained weight...

Workout Problem:-

There is a major problem I am facing, related to workout. Whenever I do cardio and use my legs, either of my feet would start hurting. The pain lasts for 2/3 days before I can attempt to workout again. This is what is happening since couple of months.

I am having around 1400 calories a day and am feeling dizzy.

Out of my personal experience, I can say that it's very tough to keep the balance of diet, workout and feeling active and healthy.

Personally, I am either feeling dizzy or am gaining weight...

I couldn't do it :-(

Instead of losing, I have actually gained weight, 1 lb a week :-(

I am now 118 lbs (Morning Weight).

But I cannot let this continue. I did a lot of hard work for 6 months to lose 28 lbs and continued the work out for more than a year to maintain that weight. I cannot now let all that hard work go waste by putting on weight once again. I cannot even now afford to replace the small sized clothes in my wardrobe with the Medium/Large ones. Hence I have no other way now except losing the weight :-( and get back to 110 Lbs.

Here is the important reason why I put on weight. My Ankle pain prevented me from working out. Why do I have this recurring ankle pain, which I did not have earlier?? I could only think of 2 reasons. I am drinking too many colas, which have Phosphoric acid in them, which is not good for bones. And I am not drinking enough milk, so not getting enough calcium.

So, here are my resolutions:-

1) Minimize Colas as much as I can. (I don't think I can live completely cutting them off.)
2) Drink as much milk as I can. (At least 1 cup a day.)

All the rest will be as is. Around 1500 calories a day and as much work out as I can. This plan should help me lose an lb each week.

All the best to me :)

thank you @mam..

Almost 2 months passed by. I did not lose weight, but I put on :-(
Earlier I was 118 Lbs, now I am 120 lbs :-(

If I analyse the past 2 months, here is how it went for me. I almost got rid of my ankle pain. I took milk everyday and avoided soft drinks as much as I can. I also minimized holding my son by hands. And my ankle pain is minimum now and I did workout on and off these 2 months, though not regularly. As far as calorie intake is concerned, I did enjoy all kinds of food and did not count the calories, but I believe on the average I might have taken 1900 calories a day.

Irregular workout and good calorie intake explains my weight gain.

I will keep trying. I want to be fit and good looking :)
