Since you seem to have gone MIA (hee hee) I gotta assume that the babe has arrived.
Here's hoping everything went marvelously well!
Can't wait to hear stats and see pics.
Cya soon momma.

let's see, you haven't wrote anything here since saturday so I'm guessing you've got a baby! hope you all are doing fine. I'll check back on ya later!:pumpkin::pumpkin:

It really is a girl!!

She was born Sunday at 7:52am after a LONG ordeal..lol

That hip pain I complained about never went away--it just got worse. It was unrelenting--especially during contractions. I labored with no drugs for 22hrs so I'm quite proud of that. But by midnight Sat/sun I was dialated to 9cm and had been for several hours. I thought for sure I'd have the baby on Saturday. Nope. A shot of stadol did nothing for the hip pain, so we decided to get an epidural. I just wanted this baby OUT at that point, and was afraid if things didn't start progressing soon, I'd end up with a c-section. So after waiting nearly two hours for the anesthesiologist, I finally got my eppy, and instant relief. My midwife started a pitocin drip to get my contractions going better, and I got 2hrs of sleep--I was exhausted. They checked me at 4am and i was fully dialated. At a little after 5am I started pushing. My contractions were still 4-8min apart at that point. The midwife said I have a "funky" uterus..lol. Anyway, I pushed for about 2.5hrs and she finally came out without any tears--all 9.5lbs of her! 21" long. My midwife was afraid I'd hemmorage, and she was right. She got that under control pretty quickly, though. Baby is very healthy, and I'm fine as well. We come home from the hospital Tues morning.

Congratulations once again.

You must be exhausted. I am so pleased that you got instant relief when you went for the drugs. You were so brave to go on so long without it.

You dont mention a name. Are you still trying to decide on one?

I would hate for the baby to get a complex based on size - but she certainly sounds like she is a big girl. No wonder you put on a bit of weight with a baby that size. :) :)

Congrats! That's awesome!

My wife has a funky uterus, too... she had to have a C-section, and they pulled the uterus out and took a picture, so I have proof. :ack2: Of course, we knew she had the funky uterus beforehand... that's why she had the C-section.

YEAH!!!!

You look good for someone who went thru all the pain and labor that you did.
