Sorry, there is still no baby. I was just having a little April Fools fun while I'm sitting around bored and uncomfortable waiting for this stubborn baby to arrive. :D
 
Ah good for you!! lol I thought about calling the grandma's and doing the same thing but they are both suffering from some medical issues and I didn't want to give them any sort of attack!! lol
Well we are all anxiously waiting.... even those of us who don't post so often.

They will induce Sat am if I don't deliver before. But I really do not want to be induced b/c of the crap that goes along with it. I've been told a really good orgasm gets the contractions going. :biggrinjester: I like that plan better. ;)
 
Ok. so I am TOTALLY PISSED that Steve got banned from WLF! Makes me not want to even come here anymore if that is the attitude the owners of this forum have. :rant:

Isn't it possible that Steve getting banned from WLF is an April Fool's joke just like your fake baby??? That's the first thing that popped into my head when I read that, even before I read your diary backwards and saw your dirty little trick. :rolleyes:

By the way, I'm Cheri. I stumbled onto your diary whilst lurking a while back and found it quite entertaining, and your consistency very motivating. :waving:

Hi Cheri, thanks for lurking in my diary..lol. The diary isn't nearly as entertaining as it used to be, but it was pretty riske at times. :D These days I am consistantly eating things I shouldn't--and too much of them to boot. But once this baby is outta here, things are gonna change. ;)

When Steve emailed me today, that was my first thought--april fools ahaha. Since I had my own little prank going, I was highly skeptical, and refused to believe it for the longest time. But it would have to be a very elaborate hoax with Mal and Sean involved. I just can't imagine that it's a prank now. But my email back to Steve was basically, "Banned my ass! I'm not falling for that April fools joke!"
 
I am such an april fool whore!! I just called dh (who is out drinking with a friend) and told him he better come home, as in the baby's coming..lmao. He was supposed to be home ages ago anyway for dinner so I don't feel too guilty. Plus his friend will laugh his ass off when he finds out it was a prank. :sifone:
 
I'm sooooo glad I finished reading the rest of the posts before I posted a congrats! you smart ass! *L* That was a good one though. If I would have gotten on yesterday I would have totally beleived you'd had the baby. In fact that's about been the only reason I've logged on at all is to check up on ya!

Steve got banned ? Seriously or did it turn out to be another April Fools joke?

Val--Well, somebody missed out on the April Fool post. :smilielol5: There is no baby. I'm still as pregnant as ever. :(

Cerella--He rushed home, came in and said, "Are you ready?" I just grinned at him and said, "April Fools!" He took it in good humor, and his buddy thought it was hilarious. They admitted that I got them good. Apparently David was suddenly rather nervous and made his friend drive him. Also, they had just ordered a pitcher of beer when I called, and left it on the table along with all their money. Serves them right for going out drinking while I was at home and could go into labor at any time. :D

Paul--Nope, Steve's really banned. :banghead: Get your ass on here more often--how can I prank you if you come around too late. :D

Well, the midwife just called to tell me I have to go in Fri at 9:30pm for cervical ripening. then Sat morning they will induce. I am in tears now. I so so so do not want to be induced, but I really don't have much choice when I'll be at 42 weeks. It puts the baby in danger and increases the chances of a c-section if I wait. :(

I really hope I go into labor in the next 24hrs. I just feel that an induction is going to be absolutely miserable. I've seen and heard enough from others, and I just never thought it would happen to me. :dupe:

Oh I am so sorry about being induced. Not sure if it helps at all but I was induced with my son and I didn't use pain meds for any part of the labor and it hurt for sure but things went quickly and well. My labor was 6 hours and I made it through what is now a distant memory of the pain. My saving grace was relaxing between contractions and sort of zoning out so I was almost sleeping when I wasn't contracting. It was very strange but wonderful because when it was time to push I was fully awake and ready.
I know everyone's experience differs and I have heard stories about induction as well but hopefully with the cervical ripening it will help. I know with me they used little pills called oxytocin that they put in against the cervix which helped get things started and then they broke my water and things went sailing on from then on. It was a great experience and I am almost hoping to do that way again to be honest!
No matter what if it gets your little one here and healthy and doesn't put either one of you in danger it will be worth it.
Good luck and I will be praying for all of you! Can't wait!
 
HA HA HA - I agree with ya there BB.

I was induced with ymn first my second I was on that road but once they scrapped my cervix, which was completely uncomfortable I went into labour that night...
