The midwife appt went very well. I am 80% effaced, 1-2cm dialated, and the baby has DROPPED!! She said it's at a zero--head is engaged in the pelvis. She was very pleased, and said it will probably arrive in the next few days. If not, they will induce on Sat morning, but she highly doubts it'll come to that.

Wonderful! I can't wait till the baby is here.
Sorry, for some reason I kept thinking that the baby is a he. It's probably because my sister just had a boy and a friend at church just had two boys (twins.) Guess I have boys on the brain!
Well whatever the baby is, I'm so glad to hear that it will be here between now and Saturday!!

I thought for sure that you would have had the papoose by now!
I was gone for like 10 days from the forum. Kept thinking while I was on vacation that you probably had the babe right after I left. And me there in TN with no access to the net! Heck I couldn't even get bars on my cell phone. HAH!
Sounds like things are moving along nicely for ya. Now if ya could just hold out 'til Friday..........that's my youngest one's B-day. He'll be turning 6. Man the time sure has flown by.
Enjoy every second of it. Because it really goes by so very fast.

Still here..lol. Had some more contractions last night, but nothing came of it. I am really hoping I go into labor by this afternoon so I get the midwife I want.
Dawn--I'm late for everything, so it's no surprise this baby is taking its sweet time coming..lol. And, no, I do NOT want to hold out until Friday..lol. Now that it's dropped, I am very uncomfortable.
Margaret--As to the dryer/clothesline thing, I'm glad we can't hang them outside to dry...lol. I had to do that when we lived in Australia and I hated it. Not only is it a time-consuming pain in the ass hanging each piece out and then taking each piece of laundry off, I don't like how the clothes feel stiff and scratchy (whereas they are soft and warm out of the dryer). Also, I found things from outside would often get on the clothes while they were drying, making me have to wash them all over again. David would disagree with me, as he grew up with his laundry dried outside and prefers it that way. But I'll stick to my dryer.
Amber--Hey girl, where have you been? Glad you like my cloth diapers. I can't wait for the Gro Babies to arrive.

It's a Girl!!
Savannah Olivia was born at 6:32am this morning. She weighed 8lbs 7oz and is 21" long.
She is gorgeous, and we are totally in love. Labor was rough, but I made it. I'll post pics and more details later.
