BikiniBound's Diary

i would love to go to wimbedon---to see the final though. recently they have been great. what with Federer and Nadal. but yeh it costs loads and it is usually around the time of my exams and whatnot so i'm stuck at home revising. this year it is the week after i finish my year so it should be really good not that i will be going down to watch.

Yes, the finals, or even the semi-finals would be awesome. They sell out in December, though, so it's not possible. I think we'd be happy with grounds passes for the first week, as at that time you're more likely to see bigger players on the outer courts--especially for doubles matches.

have a great week beautiful!

Thanks! You, too! :)

Rae--Yes, the naughty food is yummy, hence the reason it's so hard for us to resist. So far today I've been pretty good--under 1200 cals atm. Dinner will be roast chicken breast and some veggies and a small potato, so I should be under 1700-1800 for the day.

Margaret--getting back on track isn't a problem for me. I could never be a saint with my eating--I need my little treats here and there, and a break now and then.

That is a great sign that Rod is looking for flights to Greece--very encouraging. :)

I'm thinking cheesecake for my birthday. I can get a lower fat graham cracker crust, and use the low-fat cream cheese and splenda to make the damage less that it otherwise would be. :D

Brandy--My health insurance coverage should start in a couple of weeks, so we will start trying then. I hope to be pregnant by the year's end.

I don't know how anyone could hate London! lol. I adore it. It's my favorite city in the world.

Bella--I'm sorry your weekend wasn't so good. I'll stop by your diary to hear the sordid details. :D Setting up a plan similar to Margaret's could be a great thing--it seems to work very well for her. I'm too much of a fly by the seat of my pants type girl to follow anything like that, as I rarely know what I'm going to eat until right before I eat it. :D

As to the next challenge, I have to check with someone else, first and then get back with you. :)

Trevor--Thanks for dropping by, honey. :)

Monday's Calories: 1,807, fiber: 40g, net carbs: 180g, protein: 119g

Not a bad day today. My calories are back within reason.

I was supposed to take Granny to a doctor's appt this afternoon, and completely forgot about it. Luckily she called me 40min before her appt. Still, her house is 15-20min away, and her doc another 20 min from her house. I was out the door within 5 min of her call, and we pulled up to the doc's right on the dot. :driving: shew! I was rather impressed with myself. Ha! I felt terrible about forgetting. Afterwards, we stopped for lunch. I had a half a grilled chicken wrap and a cup of veg beef soup.

We are getting a snow/ice storm atm. H might not have to work tomorrow, and I may skip my morning sales meeting if the roads are bad again.

hi Kimberly

I'm sorry that the weather continues to be so bad for you. Does winter ever stop over there?

The cheesecake idea sounds very good. I would want it with tons of fresh fruit.

Well done on saving the day for your grandmother. We all forget things at times.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Great job on all that exercise! I wish I was doing that much......I am eagerly awaiting your next challenge b/c those motivate me and keep me in check. I guess it's rather sad that I need one of those :(. Anyway, I see that you are getting snow.....we are here too. I am so sick of the winter this year, seems a lot worse than normal. Hope the weather picks up for you!

Margaret--Winter does end--believe it or not! ha! In about a month things should be greatly improved. The temps will warm up, the snow will melt, and our driveway will convert from an icerink to a mud pit..lmao. Actually, we get 6 months of great weather every year. May thru Oct is quite spectacular, and kind of makes up for the dreariness of Nov-Apr...:smilielol5:

Brandy--thanks for stopping by.

Keepitoff83--I'm glad you enjoy my challenges and find them motivating. I find that they are often what keeps me on track--something about the fear of elimination or letting down the team, I guess. :D I'll be posting more about the next one in a day or two. Just finalizing some last details. :)

Any chance you would consider doing weight loss by percentage? It would make me feel better about myself haha! :jump:

It doesn't give most people an advantage. Take thekrinse for example, she started at 160lbs and lost 20 during the last challenge. There were lots of people over 200lbs that didn't lose half that. Like me, for example. :D Trying to figure out percentages is just too much work for me to do.

Exercise this week:
2/25—30 min exercise bike, 10.3 miles, weight: 221.5
2/26—30 min circuit training, weight: 222

Tues calories: 1,967

Well, my office had a Relay for Life (American Cancer Society fundraiser)meeting today, and I told them I'd be a 24-hr walker. This basically means I have to walk for 18hrs in a 24hr period. The relay is May 15-16. I want to be in onederland by then, so that means I have to lose 20lbs in 2.5 months.

Also, my birthday is in one week, and I'd like to have lost 60lbs by then. It would be a great birthday present. So I'd have to lose 1.5lbs in the next week. Not impossible, but my track record as of late does not make it likely. :ack2: Nevertheless, I'm going to try. :hurray:

You can do it Kimberly! I believe in you, and the whole walking for 18 hours is crazy! I know you can make it to your goals in time for this event. Plenty of time!!!

Ohhhh I definitely think you can lose the 1.5 lbs by your birthday......it'll give you all the more reason to fully enjoy the cheesecake (or whatever you decide as your cake.....interested to hear stories as interesting as those for H's bday haha!)

Damn 18 hours of walking.....that'll be a good workout for sure :)! I don't think I'd be able to feel my legs after that! So basically when you're not walking, you'll be taking power naps!

:coolgleamA: Girl you can most definatley lose that 1.5 lbs prolly even a lil more, you work really hard and yourdoing gr8!!HUGGGS Tammy

Thanks, Trev, dear. It certainly isn't impossible, but I will need to keep my nose to the grindstone and have a bit of luck as well. :)

Keepitoff83--As it will be my birthday cheesecake, there will be no melodrama--that thing'll be gone in no time--and it certainly won't sit in the trunk of my car for nearly a week!

As for the walking, we are allowed 15min breaks every hour, and can bank our time--hence it ends up being 18hrs total. I think I'll walk 2hrs and rest for 30min and then repeat..lol.
