BikiniBound's Diary

I'm sorry that I brought you news that irritates you.

I must admit that I did a double-take when I first saw the username. I am sure that no-one that knows you will mistake the newbie for you for more than a split second. A recent arrival involved in the challenge might make a mistake though.

She might find herself inundated with questions on sodium. That would be quite funny considering she seems to have no understanding of the concept of water having an impact on her weight.

I hope that the weather forecasters have got it wrong and things turn out fine. Good idea getting the laundry out of the way just in case.

Good luck on the scales tomorrow morning.

Take care
Love
Margaret

I am busy making the meal so took a while typing in the last posting - splitting my time between computer and kitchen.

The snow pictures are very picturesque - but I really would not fancy doing my walk in that. I hope that the weather warms up for you soon.

im surprised the forum didnt say "username already taken" silly forum!

HI! Im new, I pray I stay around, I wanna be able to look in the mirror!

She got away with it because I'm bikinibound and she's Bikini Bound. :ack2:

I hope you stick around, too. Just keep your name the way it is...lmao. :D

I have a ghetto booty! when I showed it to the trainer at the YMCA, he said, "Oh my! you usually only see butts like that on black women!" (he was black)

and I usually wear long shirts...

My booty looks like a zamboni ran over it. :D

ummhusayn: how many square feet is it?

A little over 3,200 sqft. Has a finished walkout basement.

It's actually not too cold out today--hovering just below freezing. But the snow is really wet and coming down like crazy. The roads are pretty bad. We're supposed to get a foot of the white stuff before the day is over. :ack2: My H goes running in this crap! Not me, though. :D

Well, we'll see if my imposter sticks around..lol. I just hope she doesn't go around acting like a doorknob and people think she's me..haha.

I am so sad the Pats lost...poor cute Tom Brady. I told my husband he would be sad and he said "he's going home to shag gisele bundchen, he'll be fine!"

And I LOVE Tom Petty. Always have. I was pleased to see how un-stoned he looked Sunday!

I am sorry someone stole your name. You should trademark it, then sue!

Yeah, Brady will recover, I'm sure. I was just watching Eli Manning on Letterman, and Dave was just gushing all over him. It was hilarious. Dave's gotta love the Mannings, with Peyton doing such a good job with the Colts, and now Eli leading the Giants to a Superbowl win.

The newbie probably doesn't know there's another member called bikinibound. Perhaps you could welcome her, but kindly ask her to change her name as you are a very active member. I dont think you're being petty at all. In any event, ya know most newbies never hang around very long anyway.

Ha ha ha - good luck with that...LOL...ask her nicely ot change her name - do you see tha that happening ???

It is really snowing out there atm. Just for those of you who don't get snow in your neck of the woods, here's a little taste of what the rest of us have to deal with. For a more realistic effect, go stand in a freezer while viewing these. :D Oh, and there's one of my cat just b/c I think he's so damn cute. :iagree:

Nice pix - we just finally got over all our snow - we have had it for abt two weeks now snowing on and off ... I took pix I forgot to share

Yeah, I'm hoping she just goes away..lol. That isn't very nice, is it? :reddevil:

Who cares if it is nice or not - nothign wrong with the truth - alot of ppl dont last - ya knwo that for sure...

Here are a few pics of my listing, so you can see what you can get for $250-$300K around here. The kitchen has granite countertops--it's a really nice kitchen imo. I've also included a shot of what the property looks like when it isn't buried in snow...lmao.

That is beautiful the house and the propertiy...gorgeous:)

Oh the whole point i cameinhere was to comment on what you said about the challenege nad stuff...your weocome for starters good credit should go were it is deserved...I think your great at the cahllenges and you really found your calling with them - I will definately join your other challenges as well...I havent lost much weight just htat 5 lbs but it is def better than nothign and i feel so much better since doing this challenege. My clothes fit better and feel better and im feelign really good...and some of that credit you can take for doing such a great job with the challenge :D We can share the credit:D!!!

Exercise this week:
2/4—none, weight: 222
2/5—1hr circuit training, 30 min bike, 10.18 miles, weight: 222
2/6—30 min exercise bike, 10.2 miles, weight: 221 (new low)

Weds calories: 1,780

Well, we got about 9 inches of snow today. The roads are terrible. A lot of schools let out early today (if they didn't close all together), but not the one H drives for. He said he had a terrible time, the roads were very icy and snowy. A lot of schools have already closed for tomorrow, but not from our county. We've already gotten more snow this winter than our seasonal average, and we've still got at least another month of winter left. The county's road commission plowing budget has already been depleted, so they have to dip into the summer budget to pay for the salt and workers' salaries, etc. Several of the neighboring counties have the same problem. I heard the Milwaukee area got hit even worse--up to 21 inches of snow in some areas!! One of my co-workers flew down to Florida for 2 weeks today--talk about good timing. :biggrinjester:

My calories were a bit high today, so I'm a bit worried about the weigh in tomorrow.

Cerella--thanks for all the kind words, once again. :) But the credit for your weight loss and motivation goes to you--you did it. I can run all the challenges in the world, but unless one works one's butt off (like you've been doing), you won't be successful. So congrats to you! I'm just glad that I can be of some use. :biggrinjester: Good luck this week!

221 - Congratulations on the new low!

I hope that it stays there for the challenge weighing tomorrow.

Everyone acts like a doornob at times. I certainly do! Now I am hoping for a newbie to turn up and call themselves Omega. Then I can blame them next time I act like a doornob.

Oooooooooooooh I'm so excited for you Star! You are just 2 lbs short of being into the teens. See! You are just moving right along, so damn consistent about your calories and exercise.

Your challenges are lots of fun and so motivating. I've sort of given up at this point, dunno why. I suppose I like it better when everyone stays in to the end and one wins with the highest points instead. That way everyone is talking in the same threads and stuff. But this one was majorly fun too.

Wow!!! 221! You are definitely on your way to success. You have got into your groove, and you ain't gettin out!

Thanks everyone! Guess what? I'm down another half pound today--220.5. Just 1lb away from the 210s. So no matter what the scale says tomorrow, I'll be down 2.5lbs from last week in the challenge. But, I'm not letting this give me license to :piggy: out today. I'm gonna be good and try and get another loss for tomorrow--I'm shooting for 220--but I would soooo love to be 219.5. :biggrinjester:

Thanks so much for all your support. You have no idea how much you all mean to me. :grouphug: Back in 2000 H and I took a 5-week/22-state road trip around the Eastern half of the U.S. and visited 8 of our friends (my college buddies and friends we'd made in Korea). It was a lot of fun. I would love to do it again and include a bunch of WLF people.

Claudia, you cannot give up! Where's your competitive drive? lol Come on , girl, get motivated. The next challenge will be an elimination one, but the whole team will get eliminated together--so that ought to give you some big motivation right there--you don't want your team to be eliminated b/c you slacked off. :biggrinjester: I love Sheryl's siggie--If you're not in it to win it then get the hell out. I know you're in it to win it, so get moving. :toetap05: :grouphug:

220.5 is brilliant - and the timing is perfect for the challenge.

Congratulations on another new low!

Good luck at the scales tomorrow. I am sure that you want to eat salmon tonight!

Thanks Margaret! :)

We have no salmon in the house atm, and there is a pork roast in the crockpot. I am going grocery shopping later on today, though, so if it is on sale, I will buy some. :D
