BikiniBound's Diary

:smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5: OH the IRONY! I love it I love it!!!!! :cheers2::hurray::grouphug:

PERIOD!!!! I was thinking, 225.5?!?! That makes sense now! I have another 10 days, then I'll be in the same boat on the crimson tide! GROSS, LOL!!

:hug2:

Glad you liked that. :D

Yes, I think the period does have a lot to do with it. It is slowly going down, but if I'm gonna have a loss by Friday, it's gonna have to go down faster. :smash:

Exercise this week:
1/28—60 min circuit training, 15 min bike, 5.2 miles, weight: 225
1/29--60 min circuit training, weight: 224.5

Calories: 1,872

I really worked it hard at the gym tonight, and now I'm pooped. I'm actually getting to bed at a much more reasonable hour lately. I'll be in bed by 1am tonight. Calories were a bit high, but not terrible.

My closing was supposed to take place tomorrow, but it's been delayed until Friday now, due to an issue with the seller's bank. It's been fixed, but it set us back a bit.

That foreclosure I had my eye on has sold. It's due to close tomorrow. :cuss: :nopity: I figured it would--it's a great buy. I'm very curious to see what it sold for. It was listed for $79,900. It sold for $134,900 2 yrs ago.

Hi Kimberly

It's a shame about the property that you had your eye on selling - but as you said - hardly unexpected.

Your calories look fine to me. When I last worked out mine I was eating at that level (and lets face it - I always eat pretty much the same).

Just for the record (I know that you know - but others may have drawn inaccurate conclusions about me) I am not what you would call a submissive doormat either. I just have never met anyone with a MIL that was nearly as bad as mine (outside of family with respect to the same MIL). £30,000 would be money well spent to never see or hear from her again.

Take care
Love

I don't know about my calories being fine. You exercise about 3 times as much as I do, so you should be eating more.

If only you could bribe your MIL to disappear! lol I wouldn't blame you a bit. :D Thankfully, mine can be irritating at times, but she's nothing like yours.

I'm eating lots of fiber today in hopes of helping the weight loss. I've had 28g already today, and we're having bean and ham soup for dinner, so the fiber count will over 30g by the end of the day. :D My weight was 224 today, so I'm still 2lbs higher than my ticker weight. If I don't want to post a gain this week for the challenge, I'm gonna have to lose 2lbs in the next 2 days, and 2.5lbs if I want to post a loss for the week. :smash::ack2:

The weather today is terrible. For two days we got rain and temps in the 40s. Then last night the temp dropped from 43F/6C to 10F/-12C in about 4hrs. Then the wind started gusting, and the windchill made it feel even colder. The roads, which were very wet from all the rain, froze quickly, and were very icy. So, all the local schools are closed today, as are tons of activities. Even my dad only got about 3 miles to work when he'd had enough and came back. H wants me to add here that he still went for a run despite the cold and ice. He certainly thinks it was an act of heroism :D

He and I are kinda having a fiber contest today. I've got the lead with 31g so far. He's got 28g. And then with the bean soup tonight....well...I think it's gonna get noisy. :smilielol5:

Hey there, Sorry about the house you were checking out,I so love the house around the corner from me has 3 bed rooms, study, dining room,"INGROUND POOL W/SLIDE very nice for $115,000 grrrr not much more than mine and mine needs alot of work..
I slacked off the fiber since the challange I know I am still getting fiber but not alot like the challnage I have been in a egg mood instead of the cereal.
I am sure your weight will take a big drop soon speciall after TOM mine did I am going to be so happy on tomorrow weigh in unless something crazy and mysterious happends lmao.
Have a gr8 day and GL ,hope the 'BLACKIES" win! Tammy:party:

I'm so glad you got pops involved in fitness and health, must be a big relief to you that he's getting healthy.

I'm lucky in that I have the sweetest most helpful MIL. She'll watch the baby any time and she's nice to hang out with and chat to. A real treasure.

Good luck getting down for the challenge Star. You can do it!

That was my husband who went out running in the frigid weather--not my dad..lol. He couldn't run if he wanted to. He is not that involved in health and fitness--he's cut out the sweets, but he's still eating chips and stuff. I would guess he's maintaining. So no relief on that front. Actually, he had to go to his doc for a check up the other week, and some blood test came back suggesting he had a blood clot somewhere. They did a test on Monday, and it came back ok--so apparently there's no problem. Still, I worry about him.

Hi Kimberly

I am pleased to hear that your father's tests came back better than the previous test. I know just what it is like when you worry about people.

I hope that the fibre does the trick in turning your gain into a loss. I think that my gain will be here to stay for a few more days yet.

Now Tammy is rubbing in the price of property in the "new world" and how spacious houses are.

The weather certainly does sound disgusting where you are.

I just checked the challenge area - and could not see the new bonus thread. It is early Friday morning here - so yet again I am wondering whether you plan to ban my raisins and shreddies. I certainly hope that you dont.

Take care
Love
Margaret

I hear ya in the gain dept. I'm down to 223 today, but unless I get back to 222 tomorrow, I'll be posting a gain. :banghead:

The weather here sucks arse! Yesterday the roads were icy and treacherous. Today started out sunny and slightly warmer--20F/-7C, then it started snowing, and it's supposed to snow all night and part of tomorrow morning. It's going to be a blast driving to my closing tomorrow afternoon--it's only about 20 miles away. Hopefully the snow will have stopped by then, and the county will have the roads plowed and salted.

Your raisins and shreddies are safe for another week. :D It's a good thing you posted this. I've been so busy with work and stuff that I completely forgot all about this week's bonus. :blush5:

Exercise this week:
1/28—60 min circuit training, 15 min bike, 5.2 miles, weight: 225
1/29--60 min circuit training, weight: 224.5
1/30—None, weight: 224
1/31—30min circuit training, 33min Turbo Jam, 12min bike, 4.25miles, weight: 223

Food: Weds--1,723 calories, 39g fiber Thurs--2,103 calories, 42g fiber

Got my 5hrs of exercise in this week--it wasn't easy. My calories are too high today, but at least I did 1hr 15min of exercise to help offset it. I'm scared to death to weigh in tomorrow!! I almost feel like I should jump on my bike and do some more exercise. Not gonna happen, though. :D

I was really busy today with work and stuff. My closing is set for tomorrow at 2pm, and my new listing is keeping me busy. No showings yet, but I'm still getting all the marketing going. Got the virtual tour and photos uploaded this evening, and now I'm working on flyers and just listed postcards. I've already sunk quite a bit of money into the marketing. I sure hope it sells quickly.

Granny called this morning to see if I could come over b/c she needed to run some errands. So I spent 2hrs with her this afternoon, and safely deposited her at bingo. Did some grocery shopping and hit the gym. I had planned to do an hour there, but the roads were getting increasingly bad, so I left after 30min and finished up at home.

Tonight was the season premiere of Lost. I love that show, and have been waiting for ages for a new episode. I taped it, and have yet to watch it.

Here's hoping the weigh in goes your way tomorrow, damn periods make a mess of everything. ( Damnit that didn't come out right) Enjoy watching Lost when you get the chance ^-^.

Hi Kimberly

Thanks for posting the bonus. I should be ok with that. Thank goodness that my raisins survived...

I am sure that your property will sell very quickly.

I cannot believe that you are having to drive to your closing. Whenever we have bought and sold houses - on completion we have had to phone up the solicitor to see if the money has changed hands ok and we have had to go to the estate agents to pick up or hand in keys. You seem like you are being very nice to your clients.

Good luck at the scales. My weight was slightly up so I am sticking with Thursday's weight.

Have a good Friday and take extra care in that bad weather.

Take care

Way to go on your exercise this week! And I know you did all your water.
Hope you get some bites on your house real quick. Is it anywhere near to the lake or are you to far away for that?
What a sweet granddaughter you are. Taking g-ma around and all. My G-ma passed away this past spring and I sure do miss her.
LOST is my all time favorite show!!! My step-son got the season 3 disc set for his b-day so everynight for the past 2 weeks we have been watching an episode or 2 to make sure that we were all caught up for last nights episode. And man was it good!!! Glad I recorded it so I can watch it again and again. Hahaha
Did you by chance see the commercial by Oceanic Airlines? If not I'll fill you in if you want. Ya I am that hooked! LOL

LOL! Yes, it is rather messy. :biggrinjester: I wish I could blame today's weight on my period, but as it's nearly finished, I imagine it has more to do with the fact that I ate too many calories this past week. :banghead:

I hope that it sells quickly, but the market here is not good, as you know. I just hope they get a good price for it.

It is customary here for both the sellers' agent and the buyers' agent to show up for the signing of all the docs. Even the buyer's lender will show up most of the time. Mine would today, but she had other appts to go to (she was planning on coming when it was originally scheduled for Weds.). After everything is signed, the closing agent will fax the bank the required signed forms, and the bank will wire transfer the funds and checks will be cut to those who get them (in this case the only ones making money are the listing agent and myself. :biggrinjester: This is b/c the sellers owe more than they sold it for, so their bank is taking a huge loss. The sellers are actually bringing about $250 to the closing table today. Ouch.).

The roads are still bad. It snowed all night, and is still snowing. I worry about my buyers b/c they have about a 40-50 mile drive to the closing--and the sellers have around 60 miles to drive. It seems everyone is living out of town.

My weight was still 223 today, so I'll be posting a 1lb gain this week. :banghead:

No, the house isn't near the lake. We're about 30miles inland. This house is about a 40-min drive to L. Mich, so there is no added value there. It is in a stellar school district, though.

Oh Yay!! A fellow Lostie! I did watch the premiere late last night. It was so good, I didn't want it to end. I think I should start a Lost thread in the off-topic section for those of us here who want to discuss it. I found the Oceanic commercial on youtube.

I am so addicted to LOST that it isn't funny!!! I would soo be right there to discuss and talk about the show. So who do you think was in the coffin?

Oh shit.. you too, eh? hahaaa :hug2: I swear, we go through some of the same shit, right? We have our periods around the same time. We both gained a pound.. or 4.. like me. HA! And.. we have boobs. I'm sure you'll get that off soon enough, beautiful.

Btw, I soooo wished you were a real estate agent here in NY. We're looking to buy something asap and it seems everyone drags ass on this end. Sean and I are ADD, so we're like "Hurry the fuck up! Let's do this!!!" BAH! I want a Kimberly. Waaahhhhhh!!! Love yas.
