Buffets are always difficult and we all have times when we eat too many calories (whether we count them or not). The important thing is not to worry about it and to keep being good at the next meal. At least it sounds like you enjoyed the night out - which is always important.

It may not be as bad as you think. Whatever the calories I tend to lose weight when I eat fish - almost every time. You dont see a lot of obese Japanese people do you? The actual meal may not be as damaging as you think.

Finally - a quick reminder about that job application. I think that you stand every chance of getting the job - so it is well worth pursuing.

The closing went well. My buyers are thrilled and so are their "kids." It took almost 2hrs, though!! I am not expecting a big commission check b/c 1. it was only a $95K house, and 2. I owe my broker 7 months worth of fees and charges..lmao. I'll be lucky to get $500, but at least it will help with Christmas. :santa:

I finished the last piece of pie earlier. And when I came home tonight guess what was sitting on the kitchen counter? Why two freshly baked pumpkin pies!! Aaaaggggggghhhhhhhhh!! Thanks Mother, dear. :banghead::banghead: I ate dinner, went to the gym, and by the time I got home, 2/3 of one pie was already gone..lmao. I'm hoping it will get eaten quickly by others and will no longer be a source of temptation. :toetap05:
 
Is there a type of pie you hate? Maybe you could request that she make that kind so you won't be tempted...

The reason she made the pumpkin pie was that we had a ton of pumpkin left, and a couple of pie shells left. Now the pie shells are gone. Well, there is one in the basement freezer, but she doesn't go down there and doesn't know about it. :D
