BikiniBound's Diary

Aww....poor honey! There's still that curve, though. Even if it was hard, I'm sure you did fine. Did you take my advice and threaten to beat up anyone who got a high score? :biggrinjester: And I'm resisting the urge to ask if anything else is HARD--silly question, you're 19...oops *slaps my patties* :biggrinjester:

hahaha i havent threatened anyone yet because i looked around during the test and saw that i wasnt the only one who didnt know what the hell to do...judging by all the wandering heads and sighs..

hahah, i had a feeling you were going to ask that...lol

I'm sure you'll be fine. So are you a Longhorn, then?

Yes, you have already figured out how my mind works. But the fact that you suspected I would ask that means your mind is also in the gutter. ;)

Below are pics I promised. See, I'm a dog! hahaah. Actually, these are the two dogs we're dogsitting. Wasi (short for Wasikong) is on the left, and Weyma is on the right. Weyma is a well-behaved sweetheart, but Wasi is a mischievous devil. :D

This morning H woke me up at 6am to inform me that Wasi had gotten outside when he was heading out for work. This happened last winter when we dogsat. I would've thought H would've learned his lesson then, but apparently not. Anyway, H had to get to work and didn't have time to hunt the dog down. So he wanted me to go find him. Keep in mind that it's dark and FREEZING outside, and I'm half asleep, only having had about 2-3hrs sleep. So I started up my car, to go searching for him. H called me and said he'd seen him on the next road over. So I cruised up and down this street and the one H had seen him on, but I couldn't find him. I pulled into the driveway, and there he was--naughty thing. He went inside on his own, which surprised me b/c he is a breed of husky and loves this cold weather. Even yesterday when it was 0degrees out he was sitting in a snowbank most of the afternoon looking like he was sunning himself poolside in 80 degree weather..lol. Crazy dog! I was ready to give him a dingo's breakfast (a piss and a good look around) after that escapade..haha. Don't worry--he got fed. :) Weyma's coat isn't as thick so he doesn't usually stay out too long in this weather.

So I called H to let him know I got Wasi inside, and H said he was on way home bc school was cancelled due to the cold weather. The transportation supervisor told him it was -11F outside, hence the reason for the school closings. I don't think there was a single school open within a 5 county radius.

wow! all schools closed! wish that would happen sometime when i was teaching!

and you call ME a pervert??? If you are done slandering me, would you mind taking your hands out of that cradle, and go post a retraction???

James, James, James. You should know by now that I am the pot calling the kettle black. Honestly, I didn't mean anything perverted by that question--surprisingly enough. :D Trevor goes to school in Austin, so I wondered if he was going to UT. But now that you mention it, that's pretty damn funny!

Shiat that is cold! It is BRICK here as well! I've been sitting in the computer room for an hour with the space heater on my legs while wearing a warm robe and I still have not warmed up. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

freezing here too......in the single digits and windy. My normally very hot house is now chilly.....was going to go to the gym today but i cant bring myself to take the kiddies out in this weather.

if i were you and the dog got out..... i would have went back to bed!!!!lol if he doesnt return just go to the pet store and get a replacement.....nothing is worth going out in the cold and dark morning!!!lol

Geez, you ladies are tough. It is 42 degrees and I'm already whining about my knees aching. I couldn't survive your temps!!

Shoot, 65degreesF and I'm shaking like a vibrator... We Texans were not endowed with great cold tolerance.

Hi Kimberly

I hope that you are having a good day.

I am sure that I will enjoy the next challenge.

If it is elimination based on two person teams - all our challenge longevity could be brief depending on who we were partnered with. One example being "pooreater" in the current challenge - who never showed up.

I am sorry that your weather continues to be so bad. We had another day when I didnt need a coat or jacket. I could get quite used to decent weather in February - it is normally our worst month.

After your doggie anecdote (which you say is a repeat occurence) - you had better make sure that you are not dog-sitting at the time when you introduce your threatened sleep bonus. I would be shattered if my sleep was interupted like that.

Take care
Love
Margaret

We are in the middle of an ice storm. Over 1/2 an inch covering everything already. We had no school today, and unfortunately, my cabbage roll dinner is off too.

Ok. I'm being very brave here, and posting some pics. This could be scary, so, don't say you weren't warned! :D

The first pic is me in late May 2007. Weight: 253lbs. Pic 2 is me late July 2007--weight: 241lbs. Pic #3--me tonight weight:221lbs. Pic #4--my legs tonight (just for James). Pic#5--me in 1998--age 26. This is what I want to look like again--well, almost 10yrs older...sigh.

I tried to go back to bed, but H called me and said he'd spotted him and I'd better go look for him. He was afraid he'd get hit..lol. Yah--do you know how much it would cost to replace that dog? He's a purebred as far as I know..lol.

Amy--42degrees would be a heat wave to me atm! :biggrinjester:

Trevor M. Quote: Shoot, 65degreesF and I'm shaking like a vibrator... We Texans were not endowed with great cold tolerance.

One good thing about the cold weather, though, is that you have a great excuse to keep your woman warm. ;)

Margaret--the teams will have 3 people on them--and I'm seriously considering letting us choose our own teammates.

Don't worry about my sleep--I went back to bed and slept until noon. :D

Amber--Ice is 10X worse than snow. Our roads were very icy today bc when it is this cold, rock salt is useless, so the snow just gets packed down by the cars until it's smooth and treacherous. My dad said it took him more than twice as long to get to work this morning--going 20mph. I'm sure you will have another ice day from school again tomorrow. I'm sorry your dinner has been postponed. :(

Thanks Tyly and Amber. My calves ARE huge. They are mostly muscle, though. They've always been that way. I think I must walk funny or something...:biggrinjester: I'm kinda sensitive about it..lmao.
