Sorry guys, was out hiking all day - didnt get to weigh in :/
Will do it first thing tomorrow morning.

And guys - often you loose the fat the week after you exercise, or after you have had a rest so your body can recover . Dont stress it to much :)
 
I've been going to the gym for 4 weeks now and I haven't had a loss yet. :confused:
 
Kallie, time to check what you're eating? Maybe there is something thats worse than you thought? or maybe you're going to the gym to late in the day? Sounds weird though not to loose any over 4 weeks. Maybe its time to have a docter checkup?


Anyway got to the gym today and im 245.2 - down 5lb :)
How can you tell im back into exercise! hehe
 
Well I got down to 312.5 and have been bouncing around 313 to 316 for last 3 weeks. :mad: LOL.

I have a full physical schedualed at the doc's office for Oct 26th and Starting Moday, I'm going to keep a food diary to take with me to the doc's office. I think food may be playing a part in this because I started back to school and sometimes my friends are bad influences on me, but more importantly than that, I haven't been keeping track, so I'm going to start keeping track again.

I always go at night time. From like 9pm to 10pmish normally. Is there something about the time of day that you go that makes a difference? I'm just a night owl and I'm a complete bear in the morning so that is why I opt for night workouts.
 
The food journal is a good idea. I always find when I'm not keeping track that I end up eating too many calories... I'm getting back on that wagon this week myself. With the amount of working out I'm doing I should be losing a bunch more too, but I think I am allowing myself too many calories in the day!

Yeah I wasnt overly fond of the morning workouts at first, took me a while to ease myself into doing it earlier and earlier. Now i get up at 5.20am and come home at about 7.15am in time to get the kids ready for school. Also Ive found fitday to be my savior because i never knew there were so many calories in some things and so few in others! its like a wakeup call :/

Go the Mal - i think its down to a competition between us haha :D
Unfortunalty you're winning because i was not working out for 2 weeks - but im sure i can catch up! :D i know i can .. i know i can .... i know i can ...
 
thats not to bad at all :)

Mine are 1200 on average but the occasional spike to 1500 (1200-1500 is my goal so thats fine).
Yesterday i was at 950 odd though and ended up having to eat a chocolate bar to make up some calories (still didnt quiet make it). But i had the yummest dinner of steak and salad.
 
Well, here it is, another Friday. Weighed in at 231 today, been there for almost a week and it is REALLY annoying me. I can't get my new tattoo until I hit 230!
 
I am up 1 pound. Largely because I am ultra hydrating for a race. I basically I am feeling harrible (New Englanders accent). I am so sore. I have 2 days to get better.....
 
I don't know what I'm doing wrong?!?!? :mad:

Still 313 today and my calories are no where near my matienance level and I still got in plenty of exercise. (today my legs and abs are sore :) )

LOL Mal you're going to pass me next week!:p
 
Kallie not eating enough is just as bad as eating too much.... if you're that far under your reccommended calories, that could be stalling you out... add some more calories to your day and see how you do then
 
I don't think I'm under eating either. My matainence(???) calories are 25-2700 with out exercise and with my 3x a week exercise it is 3000-3200 calories. I take in no less than 1500 and no more than 1800. Is that too low?:confused:
 
WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!


234! My first 4 pound loss probably since I first started. Man I pumped about that, especially after my no loss week last week. I feel like I could go run 5 miles if I wasn't at work. I am going to eat a cup of yogurt, let it settle, then go do 40 flights of stairs in celebration!
