ive been doing the extensive 10 sets 10 reps workout for my abs and my arms. now idk how long it takes to see any gains or cuts, but after every workout my arms feel shaky and weak as ****, and they look alot bigger and very tight. but after they completely heal its as if nothing happened. any ideas? t-minus 16 days til italy. i know i cant do anything insanely different by then, but whatever i can do to get the most out of it id appriciate it.

You've got to remember, at the same time you're kicking the sh*t out of your muscles, you're also being extremely strict on what you eat. This might be hindering your results some. Once you return from your trip maybe you should let loose a little on the diet, and continue to hit the iron hard. I would bet $$ that you're results would come quicker. Anyways, workout to workout I don't think you'll ever see results, I've heard some people say that technically you should be stronger every workout, but definatly not by much. And unless you were actually taking exact measurements of body parts, you probably can't see visual gains (at least not in 2-3 days). So far you've made a sh*t load of progress, and that's all that matters.

well its been 2 weeks since i got back from italy...and i've really let myself go. my abs and arms are significantly smaller, and my calorie intake is much higher. ive been eating transfat, saturated fat, and carbs up the wazoo. but now tomorrow, monday, i plan on getting right back into everything i was doing before italy. my question is, is it true you pack on muscle you lost alot faster than muscle u never had at all? and if so, why is that?

I believe it's a mental thing. I've done it plenty of times, when I come back into the gym, and I think to myself 'I've done this weight before I can do it now', and I may be a rep or two short but I pushed myself past my limit, and you'll make big gains.. Good luck, and keep @ it.
