P90X=Big Mac sore.... sometimes the pain is just so good though![]()
Glad to hear it's a tough workout!!! Maybe they should make one for beginners called Couch to P90X lol... you could receive some royalties cuz you thought up the name!!!The P90X is tough, you definately want a good exercise routine for a few months before you start it. Couch to P90X would kill ya!
Betcha you're kicking ass at this weight loss thing, eh? Still doing those crazy-effective workouts?

Hey MissD! Yeah, I'm still doing the P90X thing. Some days on it are ok, other days are really tough. It's a lot of reps, usually 3 different exercises per muscle group with 2 sets of 8-20 reps. It really keeps you moving and sweating.
I'm doing well, 5lbs down in the last 2 weeks. I'm not seeing the results I want in the mirror but I know sometimes it can be hardest to see yourself when its obvious to everyone else.
Someone shared with me the meaning of the Tarot card for "Strength" and since we're Leos and fire signs of course, you reminded me of it. You WILL see the results, just keep it up!
"The symbology of the lion is common to Strength, and aptly so. The lion is the "beast within", the raging inner desire inside every one of us that must be controlled or it will be set free to manifest in the world. The image of the woman opening the mouth of the lion shows both courage and patience; she must not fear the lion, and she must wait for it to tire before she can exert her own will upon it. There is just the purity of the maiden and the power of her inner beast that she is attempting to control.
She needs patience to defeat the lion because her power is not brute physical force, as mentioned. The force she has is very little, but it can be applied infinitely, and she will continue to apply light but constant pressure until the lion submits to her superior will. It does show a certain determination, and the conviction that even small results will have effects if kept up long enough, just as a constant dripping hollows a stone. So Strength is not a card of compassion and love, but a card of quiet yet unstoppable power. Such power radiates from the soul, and for a consciousness aware of this power, there can be no resistance, and no defeat."
Thanks Curvie, determination is definitely one of my stronger points. I know I'll reach my goals, I just thought after 80lbs I'd be closer to where I want to be.
You have to be feeling so much better..bet you sleep better to.
