Big Mac's Lifestyle Change

ok seriously...can I hire you to prepare my food? lol and can't wait to find out what good news the scale had

so getting you drunk.....evil mastermind here

Uh oh, somebody's gonna have fun in vegas, lol.

Thanks for posting that pic Shaun, that's amazing the difference. When I lost 50lbs I didn't see that big a difference...think that just proves I'm going to have to do more than just changing eating habits and start gradually adding in workouts.

Erika, marrying rich is definately a good plan. I'm on the same one, haha. How ya gonna get someone drunk who doesn't drink? :D

Jello, you're welcome. It's not always easy, but the best things in life aren't always that way. I lost about 12lbs before I went to the gym. I find that the two go hand in hand. When I'm working out, I eat better. When I don't work out, I eat crap. I guess I feel guilty if I work out and had a burger... might as well have just not worked out cause I wasted it, then that turns into a day/month/week long binge. On the other hand, when I'm hitting the gym. I make better food decisions as to not impede my progress and hard work.

I'm the same way...I'm already eating better but I'd probably step it up even more. When I'm putting all that effort in to do exercise I just feel like making better choices. I'm just frustrated because I want to start cardio but my doctor told me I need to lose more weight first or I'll blow out my bad knee. But I'm thinking ten minutes a day to start couldn't be that bad could it? I'm in the middle of moving or I'd just join the YMCA and start swimming and using the stationary bike. I think soon as we get moved, even before we get unpacked I'm either going to do that or find myself a bike for at home.

Thanks Steve. I'm actually suprised by how fast the weight has dropped. I should be rockin a killer bod by Vegas time, haha.

All that cardio, what do you expect!?

LOL.

Congrats on your weight loss so far... exciting stuff.

Erika, hmmm I'm curious to find out.

Jello, I'd be careful, doctors usually know what they're talking about. I'd hope so after 7 years of school. A pool might work though. There was a guy from the Dallas Cowboys that lost 45 lbs in a pool. Its definately a lot easier on the joints.

Steve, usually 30-40min on the elliptical a day. Sometimes I throw some basketball in on the weekends for extra cardio and fun. I don't find it to be that extreme. Maybe it is, but it works. I'm pretty extreme with my split lifting and massive ammounts of cardio. Just pickin Steve, love ya buddy :D. I appreciate it... aiming for another 65lbs to drop by November for Vegas.

Lunch: 6" Turkey sub on whole wheat, lots of veggies, and a little honey mustard
PM Snack: small handful of almonds, small handful whole wheat pretzels, lowfat cheese
Dinner: Planning on some Margarita chicken from chilis after my workout

Hey Shaun, nice pic. :) I'll have to see the ones you posted in the Vegas thread... I bet there is a huge difference!
So do you really not drink?

Thanks Paula, same one on the Before/After thread. Mixed feelings on the drinking Paula. A while back I got carried away with it, and ever since I made my lifestyle change its been close to nothing. I have some family members who have really struggled with alcohol addiction and it's had an effect on me. I'll have a drink with ya in Vegas though. Just don't tell Erika... shes evil... :D.

LOL only virgin drinks for this girl. Alcoholic step-father (now dead- alcohol related), alcoholic (ex) husband (now not only into alcohol but "bigger and better things if you know what I mean)... I've never seen anything good come from alcohol. :) It's okay though... It's more fun to sit back and watch drunk people make a**es of themselves IMO. ;) BUT I don't judge people who want to drink; to each their own.
