Big Mac's Lifestyle Change

Humps, how was Vegas? I haven't even heard any stories. Guess ya had to be there! :p No big deal stepping out on your diet for the weekend. Everyone deserves those every now and then, I was just letting it get to me every weekend for a while. I'm sure you'll be running all kinds of weight off. Good thing to keep in mind with the hands at the gym.

Vegas was off the hook. We had a blast and I think most of us are not spilling the details...just imagine 7 girls drinking too much causing a ruckus in Vegas. It was so much fun...next time you have to be there w/us!!

I'm hoping to run some weight off real fast here if I can get well! I feel worse today than yesterday...damn germs. I think my body is crashing after my marathon and stressful work conditions...I'm just going to ride it out!

What's UP!?

Hey MAC!!!

Missed you in Vegas man! It was well worth it all...and it was so awesome to meet everyone in person! It was good times all around...and I have to agree with Humps...don't ask don't tell ahahaha!!

Anyway, let's get another challenge going! You in??! I'd love to meet you man! Maybe we can do east coast this time?!

How are you though...? How's life? We're still teamies :sifone: HOLLER!!!

XOXO Alane

I wish you a speedy recovery and hope your right about getting over it faster. I had a cold last winter that seemed to last 2 months. Of course, my health probably isn't improved enought yet, to make much of a difference. I am anxious to see my bp and cholesterol at the Dr. next week.

Wow... Lots of visitors in the Big Mac Diary! :D

Alta- You know I'm up for it girl! I still got 40 to go and they're comming off slower so maybe you girls have a fighting chance this time!

Trops- NY is a great idea. East coast it def a lot easier for me! :D

Humps- I'm glad you all had a great time. I soooooo wish I could have been there. Life just deals ya a crapy hand sometimes. I hear ya on the being sick thing.... it's horrible.

Paula- Thanks for stopin by! It's been a while, I hope your fitness persuits are going well.

Alane- I'm with ya, we are totally still teamies. Life is going well, things are good. Just wish this weight would start falling off like it was a few months ago! :D

Bertjo- I'm sure of it man! If you really think about it, people who are really healthy rarely get sick. If you're feeding your body right and keeping it in tip-top shape it's gonna respond to things better for ya. I hope you see some of those results at the Dr.

So, I really let myself go for Thanksgiving but I'm ok with that. Fluctuated a few pounds up on the scale but I'm sure it'll be gone in no time next week after a few good workouts.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Back down to 267! Been gettin lazy lately, need to keep hitting the gym hard and keep dropin these pounds!

Today was 20min HIIT on the elliptical
Lifted biceps, shoulders, back

Hey Shaun, what's good? My eating kinda went to shit over the holiday too, I still gotta make up some lost ground but I'm getting there.

Keep the faith, Bro.

Hey, Shaun. I'm with you here. I gained a bit, not much, 8 pounds. I'm calling it a bulk. :D Now I'm back to dropping.

Karl, I hear ya on that. I did ok though, kept my bad eating to just a day and a half. Fluctuated up about 6lbs but it's all gone now. Actually, as of this morning I'm down an extra 2 past that... we'll see how the rest of the week goes.

If I did workouts like yours wildman I'd already be down another 10lbs! :D

As you can see Trops I did the same thing. I'm fine though with letting myself have a regular thanksgiving. I'm getting healthy to raise my quality of life... it's not exactly raised if I'm always militant about my food. Sometimes ya just gotta enjoy a cheat day here and there.

That's the great thing about how far we've come though. We don't let those days turn into weeks and months now. When the day is over we get back to our program. With determination like that there's no reason I can't drop another 40 lbs in the next few months.

Yeah, I don't even think about it as a cheat day. It's just part of things. Now it's time to rein in a bit, but it's not that big of a change.

40 more pounds, huh? You are looking to be a string bean, I guess.

Haha, yeah 40 more pounds. No I'm not looking to be a string bean, just tryin to get rid of all this flab. Somewhere in the 230-225 range is my goal right now, we'll see what happens as I inch closer to that mark.

nice!

I ate until I was moaning, holding my belly on the couch and for some strange exotic reason I only gained TWO POUNDS after all was said and done  But then I had that 6.2 mile race in on TG morning.....might have had something to do with it. Oh yeah and I ate too much veggies to have pie.....hmmm.

Anyway, you're REALLY CLOSE to your goal, what, around 30-40 pounds? Check out Wishes, Korrie, and Randy's 30 lbs challenge--they're hilariously motivating! HAHA! Check out the trash talk in there:

"The puck has been dropped at center ice, bitches.

Swoooooosh !!

Loser has to post a full frontal 'Nudie of Shame' pic."

Sitting on the couch holding my belly is thanksgiving tradition for me! :D I ate horribly for Thanksgiving but the day after I was right back to eating healthy, no leftovers for me.

Nice work with the race! My mom won a thanksgiving race for her age group. Shes done I think 3 races now and was first for her age group in every one. She said she woulda placed 3rd if she was in her 20s.... not bad for an old lady! :D

Yep, 30-40 to go. I don't know if its "really close" 'cause the last 40 I'm sure will come off slower than the first 90. We'll get there though, just takin it one week at a time. I'll have to check out that thread.
