Yeah! I'd like to see everyone either at or well on thier way to thier goals by Vegas time. When the Spartans come around ya cant be lazy or else they'll just stomp ya ;).

Oh I know I got MY work CUT out for ME.....especially BECAUSE of the FACT that A LOT of the people on these teams, have been THIN most of their LIVES, so their WEIGHT gain, is actually QUITE flattering on their BODIES, though they DON"T think SO!!!

ALANE83 ....PERFECT example....beautiful LEGS, and Erica too....BEAUTIFUL stomach....

and ME......woooooa.....DIFFERENT story,....since I've been CHUNKY my whole LIFE...I have SQUISHY fat....lol....and MY stomach....needs TONS of work, and MY jiggle LEGS.....damn THAT means SQUATS for LIFE....LMAO.....:smilielol5:

BUT I've decided that INSTEAD of AVOIDING, like I usually do, all the PROBLEM areas, I AM GOING to try to FOCUS harder on them, cause THEN ALL I do is BITCH about em...

I know what you mean I carry all my weight in my hips thighs and ass...it sucks lol but ya know what we're going to work with what we got and make it amazing sorry for the hijacking!

EXACTLY....thats WHAT I say to myself.....I think I'm gonna START climbing the stairs I HAVE here at WORK....at least a COUPLE sets a DAY will make some TYPE of difference I HOPE!!! ;)

...SORRY for the HIJACKING too ;)

I read that taking the stairs is not only a way to add a bit of exercise, it also saves time if you are going one flight. Ir you are going two it breaks even and more then that the elevator is faster. Between waiting for the elevator to get to your floor and waiting for the doors and everything, it takes less time to take the stairs. Give it a try and time it.

HEY thanks TROPS....thats GOOD info....and the sad PART is that I have the stairs here in the back.......one flight....but there is no elevator here.....so I REALLY have no excuse...
before I used to run up and down...and by the 7th time I was BEAT.....

...BUT you are RIGHT...if I time THEM...I might get more motivated to beat MY time....

We have a nice set of stairs here for that. 15 steps and it goes up 13 feet, so very steep. I do that 10 times going up as fast as I can no handrails, but down slower and in control. After ten flights I rest for one minute, then go again. After 5 sets I'm wiped. Best part is that the boss thinks I'm working hard :)
 
Haha, I have no problem with you ladies hijacking my bed... I mean thread. :D

I try to get in cardio everywhere I can. Making more trips to the water cooler gives me more steps and makes me drink more water :). I go up and down the stairs as much as possible, but that still doesnt ammount to a whole lot. Theres this park near me with a nice set of stairs though, I might hit that place up and bust out some extra stairs. My calves are killing me from my leg workout on saturday though.

I'm gonna try and get some extra sports in this week to burn more calories too. Basketball and tennis are always good. I know I'll be playing some volleyball this weekend for the 4th.

I picked up some steel toed sneakers. Works great. It's actually a carbon fiber toe, so it's light weight, too.

Dinner? I don't know. I'm going to take the kids to the water park as soon as I get home. That closes at 7 then we'll stop off at the grocery store and see what there is to see. I'm thinking shrimp. One of my favorites is take shrimp and some cilantro diced up, maybe about a half a cup. Quarter cup of olive oil and put it all in a zip lock bag, little salt, little pepper, and let it sit for fifteen to thirty minutes. Then throw them on the grill for less time then you think is necessary. It tastes like they are dripping in butter. So good. Probably grill up some bell peppers, too.
