I have cycles of horrible reflux. At times I cannot even lay down, or it all comes up in my throat, so I have to sleep sitting up. My doctor tried several meds, but finally said he believes it is "genetic" as my grandpa and his mother had the exact same problems. Other times, I am fine. I have found that drinking a bit of milk or eating banana can help counteract it to a certain extent.
 
Congrats on getting those calories down! You're doing it, girl! You have the right attitude - taking it in strides. Start low and go slow, I always say.

The reflux must be quite bothersome. Taking Zantac is a good idea. Hopefully, you won't be bothered with the acid reflux for much longer.

You know what I have to say about those a-holes who laugh at you or who laugh at anyone who is trying to do something to improve herself, I say, "F-them." They're losers who have nothing better to do; they clearly have low opinions of themselves, otherwise they'd be pleased to see someone making a positive change or at least an effort toward positive change. I am a tough cookie and sort of a bitch too. (Okay, no "sort of.") Just so you know, I'd beat them up for you if you wanted. ;)

Hang in there and try not to let LOSERS get you down.

And, yes, I'm bestowing upon you tons and tons of my banked motivation! Continue to kick butt!

The acid reflux doesn't run in my family ..it is actually because of my weight... but with loss of weight it shall go away!

I did ok with my diet yesterday ...

but Today I have eaten a yogurt and one cup of cheerios and one cup of milk ..it was whole because thats all my bf had ...but man did it taste good! lmao .. I have been drinking skim milk for years ...it was so creamy ...I know its bad ...but it was so damn good! lmao ... once in while won't kill me! lol

at first I wasnt going to go outside, because I was scared of what people might think of me and my weight. And one girl did oogle me and laugh, and she was with a "hot" guy in most women's terms.
but than I realized I wouldn't be able to ever walk if I kept up that attitude

I had to prop my pillows at night, etc, etc. Since losing weight, that's all behind me. Thank freaking goodness. Anyways, you enjoy your day and I'm so proud of you, positive one. :hug2:

Well peeps

Calories taken in 3259 calories!
burned 765 burned!

Now I actually took just as much calories as today, but burned more calories today. Yesterdays calorie count is not correct, because I forgot I ate and drank a few items ...

but today was good ...better than the 3800 or so that I was taking in five days ago when I punched into fitday.com

I ran about the tennis court today for twenty to twenty five minutes today and I walked for an hour and ten minutes...

Yea.. I can't wait to be 250 pounds again .. I didn't have any acid reflux ..plus I had my hour glass shape .. I really let myself go ..
but the meds didn't help that I was on ... but I am off them now and its going to be a slow process of losing weight ..but I am going to keep getting out there...
but what do you think I should do .. My nose is all stuffy and I have a cold ..don't feel too well ...should I still go out for a walk? What do you think?
I could always put on a small jacket ..fall jacket and a scarf on ..to cover my noise and mouth when I am breathing on my walk ... hopefully I can still use my portable cd player at the same time ..or I could just do aerobics inside ..its freezing in the house ..but it probably would be a better idea to do aerobics in the house at this point ..my cold is getting worse ..

I have lose one more pound ...so I have lost eight so far .. So I am happy I am going down.. even after this weekend with Alex's fattening cooking ..thank The lord above that I am only going to be there two weekends in one month and he is coming up two weekend in one month ..that makes four weekend lol not that you didnt know that .. I am counting my fit day calories .. and I did outragous this weekend ..would rather forget it ..so started a new today ..and remembering what I put in this weekend

I am doing aerobics inside today ..probably thirty minutes to forty minutes and weight resistance for fifteen ...

Well I was happy about the pounds, but I actually started around 315 pounds. In January I was 315 pounds and didn't like where I was heading. My doctors told me I had to do something about it now, or there would be huge repricutions. So I decided to do something. My friend on DBSA talked about a forum, The WLF, that she used to go to and that it helped her a lot. So I didn't click on it for a couple, than I was more than happy to click on it, because I was so desperate and disheartened by my weight. I had taken off 16 pounds, but couldnt get below 301 pounds, I actually lost six pounds on here and went down to 295 by the end of July or August. But I had joined the "Fall off for fall challenge" I only took five pounds off during that challenge and it was a three months challenge right to the end of August. So I joined in June, and I started the "drinking water challenge" and what not...but I didn't keep up with either. I still drink a lot of water and tea with sweet n low ... but I have been prone to drink diet soda pop ..which I shouldnt ... so I am not allowing myself anymore soda pop ..at least I don't have ice scream anymore ...everytime I take something away it seems the next think in line is so hard to be rid off ...lol

So I kind of downed myself today, plus I was sick and still am, but I didn't do any exercise today, but I did clean a lot and still need to finish the laundry ..so I must be running ..but tomorrow I am going for a nice walk ..an hour long ..if I can do more I will ...
I am going to be walking all winter and on days where there isn't much ice or snow on the ground I am going to bike ..but at some point I will have to put the bike into the basement .. I mean I am in NH lol

that brings since January twenty five pounds lost. I didn't put my original weight down!
but since this place I have lost nine pounds to ten pounds ..nice!
