Oh, I put a banana on my cereal every morning - the Kashi Go Lean High Protein, High Fiber cereal isn't too bad, I've really become accustomed to it, so I couldn't really tell you how close to styrofoam it really tastes like...but my husband snacks on it now out of the box instead of potato chips :D
 
I might have to check it out, get a small box maybe.
From looking at the last week on my nutrition page on Spark, if I just add another fruit/vegetable or two a day, I'll be fine on fiber--I just need to get some more when I go to the store next, I'm almost out of bananas and I need some strawberries that DON'T have added sugar.
 
Oh man - I am going through bananas like crazy around here. I bought 8 or so yesterday, and will probably buy another 8 by Wednesday.

I don't eat them ALL by myself - but I definitely eat the majority.

Our strawberry season hasn't hit yet - soooon I hope :)
 
Yeah, I was tempted to buy some fresh strawberries when I went shopping, but I know they'd be really bitter--I do want to get some frozen though, the ones I got turned out to have lots of added sugar and so are also high calorie XP I feel really awful about maybe throwing them out though, having almost no food for a couple years makes it *really* hard for me to throw out any food.
 
Bethy- Your food journal looks great, awesome food choices! Doesnt that pound lost feel worth the stuff that your body is going through? I wonder if that would be called D-toxing?!

M- I am going to steal your Kashi advice and get some at the store today. I know I am not getting enough fiber.
 
Hey you, I am just jumpin in, thanx for visiting my diary...pampering yourself on Valentines Day sounds like a good plan...I celebrate it with my girls...since i had my oldest, I always bought her chocolates and a stuffy or somethign and now wiht hte youngest same thing...they are who I love they are my family so I celebrate with them...:):):)

Okay, so I completely forgot today is gaming day and that means Mom's bringing pizza over. But that's alright, I replanned my meals around it and I gave myself room to have three slices and two Bawls drinks (I love these) at lunch. If I don't eat that much, that's great, but I have the room to.
 
lol eat some for me too :) but not too much, just a little bite. don0t worry eventually she will get it that you really ARE dieting. mine still isn't but my dad does, so he's helping.
as for the throwing out food, i so understand you completely. if you don't want to throw it give it your mom or someone.

Just a quick update, I did manage to have the pizza and stay under my calories, problem is it was WAY under my calories, I wasn't hungry and couldn't manage to eat anything for the rest of the day XP So I ended with a count under 1000...I'm going to try not to worry about it, one day doesn't mean I'm slipping back into my old patterns, even though I'm really not hungry this morning either I'm hoping a small breakfast will kick-start my hunger.
Gonna go do that and take my dog for a walk, I'll check up on diaries later

Hey Bethy - we all have those days, lows and highs.
Average them out over the week and you'll find that you did just fine :)

Very blah day again...:( I just am not hungry. I forced some food down a few times, as I was getting kind of tired and lightheaded without it, but I've had just under 1000 calories today and I'm feeling over-full and like I want to throw up :S
Anyway, here's hoping with a good night's sleep tomorrow'll be better
 
i'm sorry you're feeling like this :( i hope you feel better today. there are days like that. when i have them, i try to compensate on eating something caloric but still healthy and which is not making me feel stuffed. so i take some pistacios, or nuts or peanuts with piece of dark chocolate. that chocolate lifts me up a bit.
maybe you need venting like me, i have lots of these ups and downs, but with my emotions. so i'm dealing by screaming and venting at real and imaginary people in my diary lol that seems to help :D

Hi great job on the pizzas...like changing your meals around and makin it fit into your cals...as for not being hungry...hhhmmm...could you maybe be getting sick or somethign, I dunno...I am never relaly not huingry...LOL...and when I am less hungry I still eat abt 1200 cals...Just wanted to drop in and see how you are doing...hope you regain your appetite soon, so you can start loosign your weight in a healthier way:):):
 
Quick update...I just woke up. I'm still not really too hungry...and my sleep schedule is still slipping around. I'm pretty sure these are related, part of being bipolar is sleep and appetite fluctuating, and once my sleep schedule settles my appetite should be fairly normal again. I'm not feeling so nauseated today, at least.

On a positive note, lost 2 more pounds, an inch on my waist, and half an inch in the hips.

I'll be back in a couple hours to check diaries!
