Okay so here the "Official" after camping post. hahaha
I don't think I did to bad.......okay so it wasn't nearly as good as I hoped but I sure did alot better than what I would have had I not had the mindset that I did. As well as knowing my b-day mini-goal was literally right around the corner!
So here is the eating run down:
Friday started out really well. I had honey nut cheerios for breakfast (pre-measured of course) with skim milk. Dh took me to Subway for lunch where I had a roasted chicken sub on honey wheat with lots and lots of veggies. Side of baked lays. Ice tea to drink.
Tried to drink my water but I had run out of my fav water flavorer (is that a word? haha) so was really having a hard time with that.
There were some snacks here and there but nothing that would break the bank.
For dinner that night at the campsite I had got some premade turkey burgers. I cheated a bit and took my electric tabletop grill. I actually forgot to bring the chips so for dinner. Everyone had a burger on a bun w/cheese, 1/2 cup cottage cheese and baby carrots. Or at least that is what the kids had. Dh was hilarious. He kept going on and on about how I was trying to starve him while we were camping. Of course he was only kidding but I never heard the end of it. People even were joshing me saying that I was trying to feed him tofu burgers!
I did not have a burger but I had a salad with fresh from the garden tomatoes as well as red peppers with cottage cheese on top. So you see I started out well.
It was later on that I caved.
While watching people play eurker (spelling again haha) someone kindly, HA, put an entire bowl of homemade cookies right under my nose. And I am not kidding when I say they were right under my nose. It was AWFUL 'cuz I could barely stop from putting my whole face in the bowl and just devouring 'em! Smelling those cookies and sniffing them. And not being able to move them anywhere since the table was being used for the card game.
Well you can figure out that I ate some of those. I don't even know how many I ate. They were just so dang tasty!
Saturday:
Got up and everyone had cereal. Plus I had got the kids some of those little bitty baby doughnuts. I expected them to eat them all. But they didn't. So I had a few of those. Okay it was more like 8! LOL But they were little......so it was better than eating 8 regular sized doughnuts. Right? haha
Had some goldfish crackers for a snack while I was playing games with the kids. Lunch was a ham sandwich with a small side of potato salad and some Pringles chips. Dh I guess couldn't take the fact that I hadn't brought any true camping food so headed off to Walmart to get some chips and the potato salad. That and my youngest had wet the bed the night before so I needed laundry soap so I could wash all the bedding.
Dinner was the dreaded pudgie pies. You know if I wouldn't have had to make the ones for the kids I think I could have held off better. I did have salad for dinner while everyone else was eating all those pudgies but I couldn't help gravitating to the dessert tables and fixing up a pudgie over there for me.
Used crescent rolls instead of bread. Put one marshmallow in the center and put about 2 tbsp of chocolate (the kind you make chocolate milk with) on it. Closed it all up and cooked it.
Man it was tasty!!!

I actually didn't eat anything else that night. So maybe it wasn't such a bad day after all.
But Sunday was a whole 'nother story. LOL
Sunday:
On Sunday we have a carry in breakfast. Every family is assigned a specific thing that they are expected to cook or bring. We had to bring pancakes and a pot of coffee. As well as cook for another family who couldn't go at the last minute. So we also had to make pancakes for them as well as an entire package of bacon. Bacon is my nemesis!!!! LOL
There was pancakes, all kinds of fruit toppings as well as syrups ( I was the only one to bring sugar free syrup and of course got razzed for it), bacon, sausage of every kind, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy.
I would love to say that I had my cereal and was a good girl but all that food was just so tasty looking and it "smelled" sooooo good!!!

I had a little bit of everything.
iggy:
But I didn't eat any lunch and dinner was one of those turkey burgers with a very very small bit of potatoe salad.
I did graze on some cookies and chips here and there while we were tearing down our camp. People just sort of bring their extra things over and set it all on a table for those who aren't leaving right away. You know stuff that can't keep very well for the ride home or can't be packed back up for next year.
Over all I did waaaaaay better than I would normally have. But I didn't do anywhere as near as good as I wanted.
I didn't drink hardly any water the entire time that I was there due to the fact that the bathroom was a 1/4 of a mile away. And I am not making that up. It was literally on the other side of the park for us. And when I gotta go I gotta go NOW!!!
So had I been drinking all that water I would have been peeing my pants for sure!!! LOL
I could have takin' my bike but I really didn't want to just ride around in a circle. That and the kids were always playing on the road so I would have had to constantly been slowing down to not run someone over.
As well as no bathroom action *blushing* ( I like the comfort of my own home LOL)
Take all of that into consideration and I thought for sure that when I got home I would weigh in at like 211 or something. But I actually only weighed like 205 something............with all my clothes on..........in the afternoon.
I was shocked to say the least. That meant that I at least weighed 203 something w/o the clothes.
And since I was home *uh-hmmm* things got to moving again. hahaha
So this morning I actually came in at 202.4lbs! Which is actually .4 lower than my last official weigh-in. Which was Thursday. So I actually came in lower even after my weekend of excess. ????
And I know that I am carrying some water weight since I didn't drink like I should have. That and my wedding ring is a tiny bit snug. Which happens when I don't drink my water but eat salty things. So you know I am chugging the water now and holding to my eating. Plus I have my class with Kelly tonight. So even if I don't make it below 200 tomorrow I achieved a small amount of success over the weekend. I proved to myself that I could have fun, eat somewhat well, and still enjoy myself without ballooning up.
Here's to next camping season and being closer to the bathroom! LOL

I hope she gets better soon. It's funny the doc sent her home like that. With my mom it's the opposite--they want to send her to the hospital for every little thing. She's had oxygen issues, too, so they've done several chest xrays over the past couple of months. Hopefully they'll get her back to normal soon.
