Bellaryna's Journey

:seeya:
Well it is the middle of the week and I figured I better get to journaling before time gets away from me.
The start of this week had me back up in the low 190's. Wasn't to happy about that. Especially since I knew that I didn't do anything to put myself there.
Both on Saturday and Sunday at work they had food for us but I did not eat any of it. Cold cuts and hot dogs just aren't my thing anymore.
That and I am doing the veggie/fruit no bread thing. So nothing they had fit that catagory. Though I did have a slice of Pepperjack cheese. Wasn't nearly as good as I hoped it would be.
I now know why my weight was back up so high on Sunday/Monday.
I forget that even though I know longer suffer from the red devil (hence the surgery in November) I still get all the wonderful accessories. So I had the cranky's, bloating and sleepys.
I got up this morning and was still a slight bit higher. But as Margaret puts it "I wasn't on empty". LOL :smilielol5:
So had to imagine that it was actually lower than that.
And it must have been since I came home from my morning swim classes and weighed myself first thing and I was back down to 189 even. Of course by then I was empty! hahahahaha
Hopefully tomorrow will show me at a new low. That would be so wonderful!!!
My class last night was awesome. I really think that I am beginning to be addicted to my classes. Weird I know. LOL
Me and another girl (who is just brand new to the weight loss thing............hope she sticks it out) actually ended up staying 20-25 minutes late to do some extra work. And of course Kelly stayed to help us out.
We worked on our upper bodies last night and man I am feeling it.
Kelly had us doing chest flys, bench pressing, push ups, pull ups (2 different styles), arm curls and tricep dips as well as lat pull downs. Plus add to that 20 minutes on the ellipitical and some ab stuff and you can see why I am sooo sore! LOL :ack2:
Tonight is my PowerCore class and she already told me that we will be doing arms. Argggg! We'll have to see if I will be able to keep up especially in my current condition! LOL
Well I need to be heading off for my afternoon swimming lessons. I just love those little preschoolers. They are so cute. And excited now to be swimming. I don't have anyone in the bunch who won't get into the water. Though I do have a boy with Autism so he is a bit more of a challenge as I never can know how he will react on any given day. Somedays are wonderful and other days, well lets just say that we have to work at it a bit harder. Other than that he is doing wonderful.
I'll catch ya all later!
Ciao:waving:

Sounds like you're having a good time with all your various classes..lol. Aside from having to re-shoot those pics--how annoying, eh?

Glad to see your weight going down. Mine was up last week for the same reason. :reddevil:

I also love your new avi--although my fav is still the one of you in the red dress--or shirt, whichever it was. Red is your color. :)

Howdy Kim~
I am really enjoying my classes. Which is really funny (at least to me) as I never was a lover of being "active". In fact I was quite proud to be able to hold me head high and say how not busy I was. Of course that just boiled down to my being lazy.
Now even if I wanted to be lazy, and I still have my days LOL, I couldn't.
Between all the classes, mine and the ones I teach, and the photos needing to be done and trying to shuttle my family from here to there I just don't have the time to be lazy! Except for feeling like I can't get anything done at home I am loving it!
Thanks for the love of the avi. My littlest guy took it. My personal fav is one from Puerto Rico. In fact I had been thinking about changing it to that just 'cuz I am sick of this snow. At least I will be able to "remember" warmer days even if I can't feel 'em!

No he did not tell me you called. :(

I guess that means I need to call my team and let them know. I didn't make it to practice tonight. It took me forever to get home with the road conditions. Then, I had gotten around to go (which I was already running late as it was 5 pm before I got to turn back around to leave), I realized about 2 miles from my house that I had forgotten my purse.

I did call your dh to let him know that I was running late and then the 2nd time to tell him I had to turn around (cause if I did get into an accident, I wanted to be able to be identified!) ;) But by the time I got back in the house it was 15 after 5 and it would take me a good 20 min. (or more) to get to the church. So I decided it wasn't going to happen tonight. :ack2:
Usually it only takes us 15 min. to get to the church, but that's on a really good day - road conditions "favorable" and all that jazz. On even my normal days, it's a tight squeeze to get from work to the church by 5 pm (especially since I have to make a pit-stop at home first.)

Anyway hope your better half hasn't disowned me yet. It is up in the air if I have disowned my better half for not telling me you called. You know you have to call my cell after 4 pm or the house after 4:30 and you will get me (most days.)

Sounds like you are enjoying your classes. Maybe one of these days I can sign up with ya?

Hope you didn't slip around too much on all this slush...ick!

Just stopping by! Maybe I should do it more often, as I could use for inspiration as I've been "treading water" in teh weight loss dpet the past few weeks!

Great job- kepp up the good work!

Thanks for stopping in Angel, Yarmiah and Sweetiepea.

Man this was a really rough weekend.
I averaged about 4 hours of sleep a night. And am still feeling "sleepy".
Both Friday and Saturday nights saw me stumbling in at 3am. Unfortunately on both Saturday and Sunday I had to be up and at the church by 7am (sat) and 9:30am (sun). So that didn't leave much wiggle room for sleep.
I am currently sitting at a 3 pound "gain".
I know that it is not a true gain as we hosted a fundraiser for our Senior Minister's wife on Sunday. She has a brain tumor and currently her insurance is saying they won't pay for her latest chemo session.
So I ended up having pizza and chili for my meals yesteday. Both loaded with sodium.
My fingers feel all tight and I can barely get my wedding band off. Which here lately was able to slide off without any help from me!
Plans for today are to drink, drink, drink my water to flush this salt out of my system. As well as get back to the veggie/fruit thing.
I won't be going to my class tonight as my dd has a 4H meeting to attend. It's the 1st time that she has ever been in 4H so I want to make sure that she knows exactly what is expected of her and of us as parents.
I am pretty sure that I won't make the cut on the biggest loser challenge this week. I am already down 3pts for the sodium challenge due to the pizza. And will be missing 2 of my classes this week for meetings that need to be attended.
I do plan to jump on my elliptical to make up for the missed classes so will have to wait and see how it goes.
Well that is about it for now.
To tired to go on about anything else.
TTFN

I despise water retention!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........

take care of you!

Thank you Jillzy and Angel for popping in~

Barely made it to my swim lessons this morning as I sat down on the couch with my youngest and promptly fell asleep! Woke up in just enough time to get to the YMCA. From there went to the store to get some much needed items that we ran out of over the weekend.
Ended up spending waaaaay to much time at the store, which tends to happen when I am overly tired. Saw 3 people I knew, stopping to chat with them.
Hoping to see a nice BIG drop in this water gain tomorrow. I cuurently have had about 40oz of water and am shooting to have 66 down by the time I pick the kids up from school. Which is in an hour and a half.
The weather here is brutal.
Bitterly cold and windy. Which of course just makes it feel even colder.
I haven't been able to warm up at all today.
Thinking of making a beef stew for my family for supper. And if that is the case then I definately need to NOT be spending to much time on the net.
Hope that everyone else's weekend went well.
Ciao

Beef stew sounds yummy and WARM!! freezing here, too, in Rochester NY!!!

I am so sick of winter!
Spring can't get here soon enough.
And if it doesn't get here soon I am likely to start gaining just from eating all the "warm comfort foods" that I am wanting. Uggg!
Come on Spring!

aaahhh so tru...the amount of food i had because it wos cold...i eat a lot when its cold no idea why...no wonder i aynt losing.

Thanks Angel
I sure am trying.
I think beofer to long I will be floating away! LOL
I almost peed my pants at the store while I was loading all the groceries onto the belt. Right in the middle of loading I told the clerk, " I GOTTA GO!" I ran :gnorsi: away and came right back with all those people just standing there waiting for me.
Oh well!
When you gotta go you gotta go. And I had to go!!! LOL

I think it has something to do with our genetic make-up. You know survival type stuff.
Plump up for when the really cold weather gets here and the food is all gone.
Of course our bodies don't know that we don't hunt and kill our food anymore so dinner is always at least 4 blocks away at the local eatery! LOL

lol i can imagine the look on the clerks face lol!!! bless! haha

weightloss is like that...weeks you don't lose anything and then lose everything in a day..well not evrything but you get the picture...wierd world of weightloss!!

hope you are floating awaaaay sooon

damn the body!!!learn from the mistake of being double the size it should be!

Sometimes I wish that we didn't live in town.
That way the last minute option of eating out or running to grab a pizza (even having it delivered) would be out of the equation.
But then again.
I would probably not have learned the self control that I have if we did live so far out.
Not that my self control is all that great but it is better than it use to be! Lots better!!!
