Bellaryna's Journey

Emotional eating, no matter what the emotion, can be bad. I was feeling so miserable the other night and I had this incredible craving for grilled cheese and tomato soup. I'm talking about the buttered bread, tons of sloppy, gooey, melted cheese and even a helping of melting cheese in the soup. At 11pm I made BF go to the grocery store, alone no less cuz the hell if I was gonna get out of my cozy jammies, and get fixins for my mope meal. He serves up this midnight snack for me and I chow down. He made himself two sandwiches and couldn't fininsh half of one, but I'm a champ so I polished off that as well. I fell right to sleep after that. I woke up in the morning feeling like crap and thinking OMG what did I do. But I guess we all have moments like that and if we can best them we're doing ok.

Yay Black Team! :hurray:

Congratulations on your weight loss so far! I was at 201 this morning and I cannot weight until I'm at 147! I remember how good I felt at that weight!

Hi Bella!

Just wanted to stop by and wish you well on the challenge. I think we have a great team, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Gooooooooo Black Team!!

Okay before too much time gets away from me today I am going to update my diary.
Had a really good day yesterday. Up until a point that is........stupid Ritz crackers!

Ah, I perfectly understand. You can't say no to Ritz crackers. :drool5: That's why I never buy them. Those and frozen Pizza. I'm not particularly fond of the last one (my older brother makes delicious pizzas so I prefer the "original" ones) but it's a very dangerous thing to have in the house when I feel miserable...

Thanks so much to everyone who jumped into my diary over night!
Wow there was so many of you. *looking around quizically wondering if some of you got in here by accident! LOL*
India
Ohh how I love me a good pizza. And I can only imagine how good the ones your brother makes must taste. Mmmmmmm!
Real Italian pizza? What time is dinner!?
Thanks for stopping by sweetie!

Thanks for stopping in to wish me well on this challenge. I am feeling more motivated then ever before. Last night I got on the elliptical at 11:30pm!!!! Just had to make sure to burn off some cals! And it paid off cuz I rolled in at my lowest weight yet this morning.........195.2......Woohooo!!!

Tammy
Oh my goodness do I love the Progresso soups. I always end up *adding* some stuff to them. Yesterday was the California Blend and the extra rice. Soooo Yummy!
Thanks for stopping by!

Angel
Hey there!
If I thought I could get some snow to you for real without it melting I would so send it. But as it is they are calling for rain tomorrow and 50* temps on Monday and Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by! And Good Luck with the challenge!!!

CatsMeow
Love your name! Makes me think of my mother when she was a young thing. She worked at a club called the CatsMeow! She most of been smokin' hot!!! LOL
Your cheese sammie and soup sounds so good. And your right a cheese sammie is just not done right if not made with real butter and loads of cheese. And what a BF you have to go out and get your mopey meal!
Thanks for stopping by!!! We're gonna rock this challenge!!!!

Hajni
LOL :smilielol5:
I remember you telling us all about your evil Oreos!!!!
Funny.....I have never been a big fan of oreo cookies. Not sure why but they just don't do it for me. I expect that I am more of a "salty" carb girl. And if I am gonna have chocolate I am going to have the real deal!!! We have the best chocolate place down in Fort Wayne. DeBrand's Chocolates. That place is the closest I will ever get to chocolate heaven. :svengo:
Thanks for popping in on me and I will definately check out the HRM thing!!

Kimberly aka Ladybug
Hey girlie!!
The food list only got better!!! We had grilled chicken with steamed green and yellow beans with a slice of wheat bread with a smidge of butter on it.
I love, love, love, the new steamer bags that the frozen food companies have come out with. So much convienance in such a small package!
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Well it is Friday~
Again~
I know that most everyone in the working world just loves when Friday rolls around but I loathe it 'cuz it means that I HAVE to go to work.
I rememeber in school we took these aptitude tests that were suppose to give you an idea what kinda job you should pursue as a career. There were kids who were getting things like architect, doctor, teacher, lawyer. What did I get you say...........
NOTHING!!!
It couldn't come up with a single thing for me!!!
I know weird. LOL
I always took it to mean that I was meant to be a stay at home mom. Since it wouldn't have recognized that as a real job. Even though it is. And the most important one in my opinion.
Sooooo I am stuck doing a job that I really would rather not. Blah!
Okay enough whining! LOL
Yesterday shaped up very nicely Thank You very much. :biggrinjester:
We had grilled chicken for supper (one of my favorites I might add).
The only snarl to the day is that dh came down with some kind of bug and was feeling horrible.
I pampered him a bit while trying to stay as far away as possible.
I think that I annoyed him enough by following him around with the Lysol, that he finally went and laid down in bed with the electric blanky on.
He thinks that he was coming down with the flu 'cuz he was all achy. But aside from looking like crap this morning he seemed fine. He never got sick.
So hopefully they were just random buggy's that just liked him and no one else.
Woke up this morning weighing in at my lowest weight yet!!!!! After jumping on the elliptical last night at 11:30pm!!!! Pounded out 20 minutes with a 10 minute cool down for a total of 345 cals burned!!! I am SUPER motivated right now!!!!
195.2!!!
I can't even begin to put into words how excited I am about that. I have set a mini-goal to be at 185 by Valentine's Day. That puts me at losing 10 pounds in 6 weeks. I think I can do that!
I have got so much stuff to do today that it is not even funny!!!
And of course I need to slam out some cardio in between everything.
I am so excited to be a part of the Biggest Loser Challenge. I hope I don't get booted and I am going to do my best to not have that happen but if it does I will continue to ramp it up on my own.
Well if I am going to get done all the things that I need to than I better get off this thing.
I'll run around to a few diaries quickly but if I don't get to yours rest assured I will soon.
Have a GREAT WEEKEND Everyone!!!!!

Bellaryna,
Your positive attitude is really motivating me...I hate waking up and doing cardio, but today I will go into work and workout. If you can get up early and do it I can drag myself into work to do it.
Thanks!:waving:

Hi Dawn

Congratulations on the new low: 195.2

That is brilliant news. I adore new lows.

I have been having a bit of a catch up with what you have been doing these past few days (sorry that I cannot get into your diary more often). It is really great that you have started doing the late night elliptical exercise. I dont think that I have ever been on one of those - but it certainly is getting you some great results.

I loved the story of you in the tight tight size 16 jeans. It doesnt matter how tight they were the fact remains that you got into them and they got fastened and worn. A major result in my book. And as mentioned earlier - you have lost weight since then. Soon you will be telling how baggy these size 16s that you got at Christmas are and we will connect it all together.

I also loved the story of you, the bed, the movie, the food and the puppy. We all want to snack a lot of the time. I watch television and eat my raisins. I also down honey shreddies which are a breakfast cereal by the handful while watching television as if it was a bag of crisps.

If I have done my walking I consider the day to be a good day - irrespective of what I have eaten. It sounds like you can say the same for your elliptical. Eat something bad - erase the negative effects and guilt by getting on the elliptical.

I am sorry that your hubby has germs. I hope that he is better soon - and that you avoid him giving his germs to you.

Take care
Love
Margaret

glad to see you are getting closer to your goal, seeing others getting to there goals lets my know it is possible to lose all these extra pounds...

Okay so I am miserabley out of shape. A month off from any formal cardio was probably not the best thing for me. LOL
But with the no swimming thing and lets face it the elliptical can be pretty boring thing it is amazing to me that I didn't gain more than the few pounds that I did. And all of those seem to be from the wild week in NYC.
I just came in from playing in the snow with the kids.
Dh kept telling me to not look so grumpy. But when you spend as much time as I do in a freezer the absolute last thing you want to do is roll around in the snow. Where it is freezing cold and you will no doubt be freezing yourself in no time flat. I know so Bah-humbugish of me.
The other thing is the kids seem to think that I am some kind of mule who can push and pull them all across the yard on their sled.
Which if I had kept up on my cardio routine wouldn't have been any problems at all. But sinceI was outta shape it was definately a problem.
So needless to say I was:
A. cold
B. wet
and
C. out of breathe.

We should've managed somehow to get together to "play" in the snow. LOL

I was out there too, but nobody took my pic, I took everyone else's though!
Your avatar pic is cute, you should post a bigger one so we can see it.

Yay Bell! You are doing awesome!

As for the puppy...rutroh shaggy! You know what happened to our dog when she peed on our bed...:coolgleamA:

Well I wasn't going to exercise, but you just inspired me.

Sorry to hear you are down about your job. You could do anything you want, just put your mind to it!!!!
