Bellaryna's Journey

Just jumping in real quick as I am suppose to be taking a nap since I gotta go to work today. Blah!
Been working the last 2 days like a mad women on my Secret Sisters Christmas present (scrapbook of her baby for those who don't know).
It is coming along NICELY! *Major patting on my back!*
I love to scrapbook but haven't done so in a long time. So this really is getting my creative juices going. Hubby says that if I am not careful I am going to have lots of mommies knocking down our door looking for me to do THEIR books!
I really meant to get on here yesterday and update Wed. food journal and to log in Thursdays food journal but there was absolutely no time.
And still no time to do today's journal either.
Just know that I am keeping it on track.
Well I need to go lay down even if it is only to get a 20 minute nap.
So I will catch up with everyone hopefully tomorrow, though I will be working on that book some more.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and a SUPER-AWESOME weigh-in!

Hi Bellaryna

Congratulations on the new low. It is also great that you are still staying on track. I normally drift up for a few days after a new low.

It is funny the difference that getting all your water can make. I have to force myself to drink my 2 litres every day. If I dont get it - I think that is linked to me getting some unpleasant pains.

The scrapbook sounds both a lovely gift and a lot of hard work. She is very lucky that you have the patience and talent to make such a personal gift.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Hi Margaret,
Thanks for the kudos on the newest low. :Angel_anim:
It is funny that you would mention the floating back up thing cuz' that is exactly what happened to me! But then it came back down so all is good.
Though yesterday I sorta went on a junkfood binge. Had some money in my pocket and a vending machine at my disposal, haha
You know it didn't taste nearly as good as I thought it would. In fact I don't think that I will be doing that again anytime soon just purely becasue it tasted like cardboard warmed up.
Though the chips were tasty.
I loves :beating: me a tasty chip! :)
I'm already on my 2nd 20oz of water and I have only been awake 1 1/2 hours. At this rate I should float away by say 3pm! hahaha
Thanks for stopping by sweetie. :seeya:

Well the weekend is over but it sure doesn't feel like it.
We got dumped on with the BIG snow. It's pretty and all but I really needed the kids to go to school today. I have so much stuff to do before we go to NYC. We are leaving on Sunday when I get home from work.
I need to get my house in order and since we are leaving Sunday and oldest ds will be spending Christmas with his momma we are having our Christmas celebration on Sunday after Church. So I got presents to get done, I am making those blankies that you tie the knots all around the edges for each of the kids. I can't very well get that stuff out while the munchkins are home.
And I still need to finish my Secret Sis's scrapbook. It won't take me long just the dragging everything out and then keeping the kids out of it while I try to finish it will be trying.
Add to that my mom has a doctor's appt tomorrow and Wednesday (I take her to her appt's when they are going to be more than a 30 minute drive) and you can see that I have lots to do and very little time. :ack2:
Oh and I almost forgot.....I have powercore 4 nites this week. Though I won't be able to make it to Wednesday nite class due to the Secret Sister Party. Whew!!!!
This weekend was surprisingly good at work. I had bid on a new postion at work and I got it!!!!
So I am still in the freezer, BRRRRR, but I am not doing the job that I was doing before. Now instead of taking the stuff to the person so that they could put it up in the racks, I am the person who puts it up in the racks.
It means a few more hours a weekend as I am the last person to touch the stuff. It can be a bit dicey working with the power equipment. It is a forklift that can go about 2-3 stories high. I get so afraid sometimes cuz' I don't want to make a mistake and end up injuring someone because of negligence.
But with practice and time I will become more proficiant.
I went on a bit of a junkfood binge last night at work. Not sure why except that I had money in my pocket and more than one vending machine at my disposal, hahaha. Oh well it all tasted like crap anyway so the likely hood of my doing that again will be about..........NIL!
And of course after eating all that junk I weighed in this morning at about 1 1/2 #'s higher than the day before.
But I am not too worried about it. As I have PowerCore so many nights this week and I am already on my 2nd 20oz of water and I have only been awake for about 2 hours I think that the most of the weight gain was most likely due to salt "gain". And H2O will certainly wash that outta my system.
Well if I am going to get done all the stuff that I NEED to do than I guess I better get off of the 'puter. I will cruise through some diaries and check back later.
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hi there, I found your diary! Wow, you've worked so hard to get where you are. Well done! It's wonderful to read all your progress. Keep at it!

Thanks so much for taking the time to find my diary Auburn!
And extra thanks for the wonderful words of encouragement.

Uggg! :ack2:
It seems that I can't manage to get on here more than every couple of days lately.
How in the world am I suppose to be keeping track of everything that I eat if I can't even get to the computer? Sigh
My mom had to go to a doctors appt yesterday. I don't like letting her drive for more than 30 minutes cuz' she has been having these black out spells.
Not like sudden black out more like she gets really, really tired and then just falls asleep. And stays asleep for like 3 hours! In her car! Alongside the road!
Sooooo now I take her to her appts.
This particular one took 3 1/2 hours!!! I really hate having to sit and wait at the doc office when there are so many other things that I could be getting done. And of course mom gets all anxious because "she" feels like she is wasting my time. I have tried to explain it to her on several occasions that she is not the one wasting the time that the doc is but she just doesn't listen.
So I have to try and bite my tongue while we are "waiting". :toetap05:
~
Went to my PowerCore last night again. We have never had a class that was back to back. And let me tell you........it was soooo hard to do. I was already feeling it from the night before, YE-OUCH! But I made it thru.
I am just about done with the gift for my Secret Sis. Only 6 more sets of pictures to go. I already have them all laid out it is just a matter of doing it.
Mom and I did end up eating out for lunch yesterday. I took her to a steakhouse called Logans. She loved it.
I got a salad that they had dubbed "The anything and everything" Salad. But it was lacking in the anything and everything department. There were no croutons and very little actual vegetables. You know tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, onions. I did ask for croutons and only sprinkled a few on. But over all I wasn't too impressed.
For dinner last night I had a can of progresso soup while watching the Biggest Loser Finale. It doesn't surprise me that the twins won the whole thing. And didn't Julie looked DYNO-MITE!!! :coolgleamA:
That gives me hope!!!
So far for today I have had 1 cup of Raisin Bran w/ 1 cup skim milk, 1 can of No Sugar Added pear halves and 20oz of water.
After I get the book done and get my house back in order I am going to jump on my elliptical. I haven't been doing my cardio and I need to get back into that. I am hoping that the doctor will release me to swim here real soon. Well anyway I need to get going if I am going to get anything accomplished today.
I think that I am beginning to be addicted to this site. Okay who am I kidding I am addicted to this site! :smilielol5: LOL
Catch ya all later! :waving:

Ugg! Sorry about your Mom, and the related stress for you. Good thing you still hit class- it really does help with the stress I think!
I've been super busy myself, and havnt had time to stop by the boards as much as I want to, but wanted to drop in and say HI and hope all is going well!

*hugs*

~~Thanks Jennifer for stopping by. Mom had to have some biopsies done on some nodules that they found on her thyroid. We are all praying it turns out to be nothing. The only thing is mom currently has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. So there is always the fear of the cancer coming out of remission. And your right getting to class sure did help to work off some stress.

~~Hey Kimberly!
Thanks so much for all your kind words! You also are one of those people that makes everyone want to keep checking the boards. I know I personally missed you awfully when you weren't able to get online and chat with us.
And as far as my addiction goes......
(Me) Hi Everyone, My name is Dawn and I am addicted to the Weight-loss Forum.
(Everyone Else) Hi, Dawn!
So the first step is down only 9 more to complete! LOL

Well well well........
Again another whirl wind day...Whew! :willy_nilly:
I am telling you I can't take too many more of these days. I still have to mail out all the rest of my Christmas cards, finish shopping, wash all the laundry, pack the clothes and make all the treats for my gifts to all our good friends.
It is enough to make a girl cry :nopity:
The kids had a 2hr delay this morning :banghead:which threw a wrench into our plans of heading to Fort Wayne to shop. We ended up not even getting there until 11:30 in the morning and then had to turn around at 2:30 to get back in time to pick up the kids from school. And let me tell you dh does not like to shop anyhow so to try and do it under such a short time frame was not a happy experiance. He does this every year. *Sigh* Oh well every year gets better.
Oh I forgot to mention today was my daughter's 8th b-day so that topped off this busy, crazy, hectic day.
Though she had the best day ever! :hurray:
She got to go to school (today was the last day before Christmas break) in her pj's and slippers as they were having a Polar Express party. They had a party where they watched the movie and had hot cocoa. Also they had a gift exchange. So she had a good day at school.
We also let our kids choose where they would like to go to eat on their b-days. So Isa picked to eat at the new Mexican place. Man the food was fabulous! I love, love, love Mexican food. I got the chicken fajita w/o the guac, sour cream and tortillas. So basically I had lots :piggy: of veggies and chicken grilled with rice and refried beans. Yummy!
Of course we had cake and ice cream too. Though I did limit myself to very small portions.
Currently Isa is jumping around like a crazy girl. :willy_nilly: I got her a 4 disc cd set of kids silly songs. So as she is hearing all these new songs she is putting dance moves to them. Earlier she was being so quiet cuz' we also got her a new game for her DS.
Well I am starting to get a really bad headache and need to get off of this thing. So I will try to jump on here tomorrow.
Catch ya all later.

HAPPY Birthday to your beautiful daughter!! How fun Polar Express Day, can you imagine showing up to work in PJ's and slippers, LOL LOL how kids have it soooo good! I remember way back when I would buy silly song tapes for my boys, they LOVED THEM! I could drive for HOURS on 6 tapes, of course I was going crazy by then, but the boys were just has happy as can be. That's what it's all about right?

I'm sorry to hear about your mom, I'll pray everything works out for you and your family, my mom, sister and aunt have all made it through cervical cancer, so I know exactly what it's like. Plus my mom gave us a scare not to long ago with some lumps they found in her breast, luckily after they went in and got them out they said just fatty tissue nothing to worry about, it was a horrible, horrible time. But, I know you will get good news, I feel it!:grouphug:

I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD, and went to Mexican for lunch with one of my brokers the other day, it was fantastic! I always get the grilled chicken fajitas, they are the BEST, I love grilled onions/peppers is there anything better?? LOL

Well, I hope you have a great weekend, keep on praying and keep the faith, it will all work out for you.
Kim

Hope yer feelin' better! :hug2:

I'm also sorry to hear about the scare w/your mom.
I agree that everything will turn out fine! :)

I hope you and yours have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hi Dawn,

We are all addicted to the forum - and that is the truth. When I am not out walking and hubby is not using the PC - then I am almost always on here.

You should be doing your last minute things before going away - so I hope that you get to see this before you go. I hope that you have a brilliant Christmas and indeed holiday away. Have a good journey too.

I am sorry to hear about your mother. It will be a worrying time for you all - and I hope that all news is good.

Your exercise classes this week sound absolutely excellent. You will have effectively burnt off Christmas before it happened.

It is brilliant that your daughter had such a fun day at school for her birthday. Effectively having a party at school would be more fun for her than staying at home.

Have fun over Christmas. Any little weight gain will be off in a few days when we return to being fully back on track.

Take care
Love
Margaret
