Bellaryna's Journey

This is the one I would like to get but alas it is to expensive. I am unable to use the ones that put alot of weight on the wrists. I've sprained my wrists to many times and so it makes it impossible.
What I do have is nothing more than a scooter that my kids use at gym class. No padding just a platform and wheels.
I am planning on using it in the morning. And after getting back into the groove I will try to add some at night.
I'll let you know when I add the reps in at night.

Ok Bell, you know I love ya, and I'm so glad you're not hurt (too awfully bad.) But I just got tell ya, that I have this vision of you flying through the air and doing somersaults before landing on that icy cold floor and then your face mask freezing to it....:jump:

So I know it probably wasn't funny at the time, but somehow, I think you'll be laughing when you're telling it.
I think you're more related to your teeny-bopper than you know. ;) JK!

I haven't exercised yet today and I probably won't either. No sleep last night, I woke up at 3 am and just couldn't get back to sleep. Then of course I got to sleep right before the boys woke up. I couldn't move to get up before Mr. M left, but I did manage to crawl out of bed to see C-man off.

Oh and I went and put in an app. to Barnes and Noble - they are hiring all sorts of positions (I guess they're building or adding on to the B&N at Glenbrook.)

They are going to call for a 2nd interview, so wish me luck!

Didn't weigh myself today so have to assume that I am still with-in range of my 220. :confused:
Woke up feeling a bit achy not as bad as Monday but definatley feeling it in the shoulders. Hurts kinds bad to lift one shoulder but that is the shoulder that forced me outta my last job position so that is no surprise there. Will take some time but will be back to normal soon enough. :)
Got the kiddos around for school, had a bowl of the Special K w/ strawberries and skim milk for breakfast. Dropped of dd at school only to realize 10 miles down the road that dd's lunch was sitting in the backseat of the car. :eek: Ds kept trying to tell me, but I was on the phone and not listening.........had I listened would have saved me a ton of time.......oh well. :rolleyes:
So I turned around and dropped off her lunch to school. Turned back around to go visit the neighboring town. Come home and ds wants to go to the park. Get to the park and it's a muddy mess. Bribe him from going to the park to going to the library. Which we have a brand new one right next to the park. Imagine that?! LOL
Spend an hour there. Get an incrediable craving for McD's Chix selects sooooo ( I know bad bad bad!!!) head over and get a 3 pc. Go home scarf them down before I can talk myself out of them and go out and clean the garage. Took me nearly 3 hours!!
I keep telling myself that the cleaning of the garage burned off enough calories to offset those selects. :D
Go pick up dd from school and head back home. Start fixing dinner......Center cut pork loin roast 140 cals for 4oz. 1/4 cup sweet potatoes with maybe 3 sprays of I can't believe it's not butter, passed on the bread, and 7 cubes of the sargento snack cheese.
Then went for a 1 1/2-2 mile walk thru the woods. Tried to keep the pace up but my dd (7) and ds (4) were with me so couldn't go too fast. But more than anything I really enjoyed going for a walk with them. In the past, like it was so long ago....(disgust with myself for missing out on spending quality time with my kids), I wouldn't have even moved off of the couch. Ds was so tired that when I was singing his song to him he fell fast asleep before I was even done with it.
To top of the day had a treat.........a small white chocolate mocha from Star Bucks. Yum!! I don't do that very often because of the price. At least I got all my cravings out in one day!!! haha
Tomorrow I'll be getting back onto the elliptical and also begin using my ab scooter thingy. Now that I am just about back to normal. Also no more McD's. :rolleyes:

Morning Bell!! Oh I love me my starbucks!!! :beating: "Mocha Frapuccino" I'm sure I didn't spell that correctly. LOL LOL I try to limit myself to one a month, okay maybe two if I'm lucky, those puppies are loaded in calories, YIKES! :eek2: I'm going to use my ab roller tonight, I'm almost certain I'm going to strain something, that thing looks dangerous, but I'll keep my hubby close by just in case. LOL LOL :eek: Last night I went swimming with one of my sons, that was really nice, I haven't done that in a long time. Tonight it's the gym, ewwwwwwwww, I wish I could do morning gym classes, but I work to early. I like your food choices yesterday, yummy!! Well, I'm looking forward to seeing how you fair after your ab session today. Hopefully are arms are still working tomorrow so we can at least post are ab roller accomplishments. I usually don't have Star Bucks more than once a month as we don't have one in our town. But here lately I had one for 3 days in a row. But two of the days was Lattes with the sugar-free syrups and non-fat milk. So I wasn't too bad.....right? LOL

I'm going to use my ab roller tonight, I'm almost certain I'm going to strain something, that thing looks dangerous, but I'll keep my hubby close by just in case. LOL LOL :eek:

Your so brave!!! There is no way I am going to actually let anyone "watch" me on that thing.:rotflmao:

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing how you fair after your ab session today. Hopefully are arms are still working tomorrow so we can at least post are ab roller accomplishments.

I tried to get dh to go for a bike ride with me this evening, but he hasn't felt well since yesterday - I drug him to go on the Raptor and ever since then he's been not feeling well. :( I feel bad for him so gave him a really nice back rub - even heard some cracking going on - hope it was the good kind and he's not paralyzed tomorrow. LOL

I went to starbucks and got a blueberry tea lemonade - it was tastey. Next time I will ask for it w/o ice because I got a lot of ice. :mad:

Sounds like you are doing great - I hear your garage is sparkling! I have not done so good - today I only walked to my MIL's and back then came and lied down on the couch and finally took a nap.

I guess I'm on "vacation" mode. Tomorrow dh and I are going to go out for breakfast and then to Pokagon for a hike. :) That ought to do us the rest of the way in. ;p

Oh forgot to mention, if you go to starbucks.com - they have all the nutritional values of their beverages. :)

Some will make you :cry:, but you can alter the drinks for less cals.

At first I was so mad because these teenager kids were just zipping right thru...........and then I found out today that the oldest girl (19) that lived at the house down the road was killed in a car accident out by the church yesterday. Apparently the kid zipping thru the neighborhood last night was on his way to her house to see the family. So now I feel a little bit bad. Not all the way bad because if someone you knew was just killed in a reckless driving accident don't you think it would be in your best interest to drive more careful? I mean the kids and I were out in the front yard. How easy it could have been for something to happen to us too.

The only reason I got the garage done was so dh wouldn't be freakin' out about it when his mom comes. Why the garage has to be clean :confused: I don't know but that is the way he is. That and I figured I would rather do it by myself then try to clean it with him. That would have just turned into a fight since we don't always see eye to eye on how things should go.

Now tomorrow just make sure that you climb up to Hell's Point :flame: and it will make up for any exercises that you feel you have neglected this week!!!!

Didn't actually count the cals today but I know that I didn't go over. Got up this morning and rode the beastie :flame: for 20 minutes. Super fast walked my dd to school and then came home to veg for a bit. Did the grocery shopping.........bought more than I thought I would but it was mostly all stuff that is so good for you that I couldn't help myself. LOL Besides since I work for Wal-Mart I get a 10% discount on all fresh fruit and vegetables. Can't very well be passing that up now can I? :rotflmao:
Came home and put all the groceries away, wrestled with my youngest for about 15-20 minutes. Gave 'em a good wedgie too!!!! Oh I love doing that.......LOL!
Went and got the rest of my chili dogs (aka children) from school , came home and started to fix supper.
In the process my dh calls me outside to "speak" to me.
The neighbor, 3 houses down, daughter was killed yesterday in an awful car accident. She was only 19. I feel so awful. I didn't know her, they have only been in the neighborhood for about 1 1/2-2 years. And beings how she was older, she was your typical teenager. Didn't have time for anyone but herself and her friends. I did get to speak to her once when her puppy got loose and I helped her to catch him. She seemed like a really nice girl.
I feel even worse because last night as people (teenagers)were driving up and down our street (we live in a cul-de-sac) they were just zipping right thru (it's a regular thing ever since the girls moved in down the street) and I yelled at one of them to slow down (they were doing like 45mph when it is posted only to be 20mph). Ok I jumped out into the street and YELLED at them to slow down. All they were doing was going to her house to see her family. So now I feel like a heel. But at the same time I am still mad. My kids were playing in the front yard and I feel that had a friend of mine just been killed in a reckless driving accident I might be driving with a bit more care.
Anyhow supper was de-lish!!
We had baked halibut ala my style. Which basically means no recipe just doing whatever I felt like. Big fat salad with lots of veggies and steamed California blend. And just for the fun of it everyone got 2 chocolate dipped strawberries. Ooooh were they tasty!! That's the first chocolate that I have had in about a month and I have to say it was ok but not wonderful. I actually enjoyed the strawberry more.
Went for a super huge walk on a trail that I had never been on before. Took about 45 minutes. My (16) stepson went with me. We were just walking and walking when all of the sudden we pop out of the woods onto someones really nice lawn.
After we found our way back to the car (it was getting really dark) we decide to drive and see if we can find where those houses were that we saw. They were about a mile from my own house!!!!!! We did some serious hiking!! There were some pretty decent sized hills and you know had I tried that walk last month there would have been no way that I could have made it thru the whole hike.
I have come so far now!
Well normally my day isn't nearly as exciting as all this so sorry for the long post.
PS: Kim I was only able to do like 25 of the reps and I did them before bed.
Tomorrow I am going to shoot for 25 in the morning and 25 at night.

Awe, I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor. It's kind of like the pastor said, even when they hear such stories it doesn't always make a difference (remember the reference to the funeral that involved drinking and then the teens were over drinking in their car?) Maybe you helped to wake them up just a bit more?
Just say a prayer for them and the family. :hug2:

Dh and I actually spend quite a bit of time together anymore, but today should be fun - it's not supposed to be too hot today either!

Yeah it's pretty tough. i was only able to barely do 25 on Wednesday night and then another 25 thursday morning and evening. I know if I'm feeling so are you!!
