Bellaryna's Journey

Awww Shucks! :blush5:
And your right fall in Amish land is very, very beautiful.
Especially if we go back to the same place that we went this spring. They really do it up with the fall decorations.

No bump yet? Dang! I just love telling bumps hello! LOL :smilielol5::smilielol5:

LOL! Well, if we wait until mid-Oct I'll be 17wks along so there might be a small bump by then for you to greet. :D

I'd love to see Amish country in the fall. :)

I don't know if I can pull off another one like last year!

I was thinking AppleBee's and Wally World. What do ya think?

;p JK!!

That's great........WallyWolrd.
It'll be just like the show Cheers...........ya know "Where everybody knows your name!" LOL :smilielol5:
Since I am there all the time they probably do know my name. :biggrinjester:

Well I ended up spending the evening with MIL after all. The kids were just acting up waaaay to much. And I am not that mean. haha
I did make it to my class. Which by the way I thought I was going to die because she really pushed us on the abs and core stuff. OUCH!
I am pretty sure that I will be feeling that tomorrow and the day after and maybe even the day after that!
She was so funny 'cuz she had asked in the last 2 classes if there was anything that anyone wanted to work on. I piped up and said that I really wanted to do the stretchy tube things that we have. They look like jump ropes but their not. You stand like your gonna jump rope but you don't.
You stand on top of the tubes and then do various side to side lunges as well as arm exercises.
Well she actually got them out for class and then forgot that she had them.
She told me that if I wanted to stay for the 2nd class, yes she teaches back to back classes!, then I could do the tubes. I was like no way lady! I am way to sore from all the other torture you just put me thru. LOL
She then told me that it was mandatory. I actually entertained the thought for about 1/2 of a nano-second. But then I had to get up off the floor and when I could barely move to do that I figured I better save it for another time.
So back to spending the evening with MIL.
I decided that I am just going to kill her with kindness. And at least for this night it worked.
When I dropped her back off at her apartment she actually told me that she loved me! That is a first for her. As she never has told me that without my initiating it. Then she told me that I would never know how much she appreciated my being with her this evening.
Remember I wasn't suppose to be there.
It made me feel really good to know that she actually had a good evening.
Maybe by not seeing me for 2 days (and her realizing I was staying away on purpose) her heart grew fonder.
Who knows.
Well it is late and I need to go.
Oh I did weigh myself like an hour ago. I know I am addicted to the scale! hahaha
But seems that if my usual pattern holds up I should weigh less tomorrow than I did this morning.
Since I came in at only .2 pounds higher than this morning.
Thank you Kelly! (trainer)
C-Ya!:seeya:

Glad the MIL part went better.

I get along really well with mine, but at a distance... My own mother on the other hand... that's a story that would take way too long and this is the wrong forum...

Good Mornin'

Sounds like a story I've heard before!

Well I had a bunch of things that I wanted to journal in here today but apparently my 17 year old stepson who had all the time in the world earlier this week to write an essay needs the computer. :conehead:
Talk about waiting until the last minute. :willy_nilly:
If I get some time tomorrow I will pop in to update.
I will say that I did go down to 203.8 this morning.
That is nearly a pound from the day before!
Woohoo!!!
I just might make it below 200 by my birthday!!!!
Later Gators!

Hello all you lovely people~
So far today I have had one of those Sugar Free Iced Coffee's from the Golden Arches.
Since I knew that I would get weighed in at the docs office I wanted to weigh in as low as possible. So I skipped out on breakfast. I know, I know not a healthy thing to do. But I really wanted their scale to show that since the last time I was there I had lost some of the weight that I had gained back.
I made up for missing breakfast by having tuna fish aka shredded ocean chicken LOL :smilielol5:, for lunch. Whenever I make tunafish sammies anymore I only add in 1 tsp of the full flavored mayo instead of the 1 tbsp that they call a serving size. Thirty-three cals compared to 100.....hmmmm.........you do the math on that one. Then I put in 1tbsp of mustard. Zero cals there! Plus just so I can get a nice crunch I put in 1 tbsp of relish, 25 cals. You know the kind you put on hotdogs. Very YUMMY!!!
And one whole can of tuna is like 21-22 grams of protein. Plus it only comes to 120cals.
Add to that, that I only have one slice of bread (again full flavor) then it turns out to be a pretty calorie friendly meal. I just go ahead and eat the rest of the tuna straight outta the bowl.
So in all my meal came to 258 cals. Not bad, not bad at all.

I wasn't able to go on the bike ride like I wanted. Woke up to it pouring down rain outside. I'll have to wait until Monday now.
Went to the appt with the doc about my meds and he said that it looks like everything is going along well.
That's a relief.
Weighed in this morning at 203.2! That's another .6 down!!!!
I really have a good feeling about all this.
I am finally feeling excited about my journey again.
This summer was so hard struggling thru the depression and not really realizing it until the summer was mostly over.
But now I feel like I got back what I had last year when I started this whole thing.
Basically I only need to lose 3 1/2 pounds now to get below 200 by my birthday. Which is in 11 days.
So it is not totally impossible. Completely doable.
I changed my ticker to reflect my new goal. As the 165 I had earlier was really getting at me, since I didn't make it like I wanted to.
I am thinking that I am just going to have a slew of mini, mini-goals. This way I know that they are totally doable and they won't seem so far off that I lose sight of them.
Once I reach below 200 (again! LOL) I think I will set a mini goal for Halloween.
Something like get below 190 before Halloween.
Lucky for me that next few months are full of holidays 'cuz I can use them as my "date goals".
So maybe my mini-goals will look something like this:
Below by Holiday
200 by Birthday
195~190 by Halloween
189~185 by Thanksgiving (1 less week to work with)
184~175 by Christmas
174~170 by Step's B-Day (1-18) (again 1 less week)
169~160 by Valentine's
159~155 by St. Patrick's
155~150 by Easter
Until I run out of Holidays! LOL
Looking at this I think that it could be absolutely doable. Especially since I would be happy to fall anywhere with-in the ranges that I have set. So I don't need to nescessarily hit a certain number.
Oh and before I head on out of here,
I needed to fill up the petro in the car this morning and about had sticker shock at the pump! It was up to $3.99 a gal. Now I know there are plenty of people on the forum who may have been paying that or more for quite some time. But not here in Podunkville, IN. Needless to say I only put in $10. I figured it would be enough to get me to the next town for my appt and home again.
Got over in the next town and gas was $3.79 a gallon!!!! :svengo:
Someone needs to explain to me how there can be such a vast difference in the price in only about 20 miles!!!!! :banghead:
And of course the place where they was selling it at doesn't take checks. So I hustled my butt all the way into town so that I could overwrite my check to get cash. Praying the whole time that they wouldn't change the price before I got back.
Got there and the station across the street had already changed. YIKES!
But lucky for me this station still has to go outside and manually change the price. So they weren't able to change it at the pump until the sign was changed.
I barely made it by the skin of my teeth. LOL
But make it I did.
Whew!
Later :seeya:

Gas is doing the same thing here in NC....it's crazy...heard something this morning on NPR about OPEC being dirty little rascals for wanting to cut back on oil output....or maybe that's not exactly what the reporter said. lol

Bella...I think ya right...below 200 is COMPLETELY doable by your birthday. Go head witcha bad self :0)

Great goals! I like how you're using the holidays as markers. I haven't done monthly goals yet because I'm still focusing on getting down to 199! Once I do that I'm sure I'll set some monthly goals. Ahh, I can't wait to be out of the 200s! It's like I'm going back in time or something!

(((Hugs)))

*Smoochies*

Great Outlook & Great Journaling! :hurray:

You WILL Succeed. ;)

Funny enough, I did the same thing just a few minutes ago in my J..lol!

Great minds think alike. :sifone:

Have A Goal Reachin' Day Doll!

Hey Sweatpea, how do you like the Fit? My Wife wants one big time.

Sorry Bellaryna for hijacking for a second.

It's been fun! The family has been trying to beat each others scores. :D My youngest who never does much exercise has done an hour today! Of course he doesn't have a weight problem - but it's still good for him.

Bell, the shell station in Kville had gas at $4.09!! :ack2: But then when I got through town it was $3.99 - so I don't know what is going on with the shell station, hope the others don't follow suit, but from what I'm hearing they will!
