Hello all you lovely people~
So far today I have had one of those Sugar Free Iced Coffee's from the Golden Arches.
Since I knew that I would get weighed in at the docs office I wanted to weigh in as low as possible. So I skipped out on breakfast. I know, I know not a healthy thing to do. But I really wanted their scale to show that since the last time I was there I had lost some of the weight that I had gained back.
I made up for missing breakfast by having tuna fish aka shredded ocean chicken LOL

, for lunch. Whenever I make tunafish sammies anymore I only add in 1 tsp of the full flavored mayo instead of the 1 tbsp that they call a serving size. Thirty-three cals compared to 100.....hmmmm.........you do the math on that one. Then I put in 1tbsp of mustard. Zero cals there! Plus just so I can get a nice crunch I put in 1 tbsp of relish, 25 cals. You know the kind you put on hotdogs. Very YUMMY!!!
And one whole can of tuna is like 21-22 grams of protein. Plus it only comes to 120cals.
Add to that, that I only have one slice of bread (again full flavor) then it turns out to be a pretty calorie friendly meal. I just go ahead and eat the rest of the tuna straight outta the bowl.
So in all my meal came to 258 cals. Not bad, not bad at all.
I wasn't able to go on the bike ride like I wanted. Woke up to it pouring down rain outside. I'll have to wait until Monday now.
Went to the appt with the doc about my meds and he said that it looks like everything is going along well.
That's a relief.
Weighed in this morning at 203.2! That's another .6 down!!!!
I really have a good feeling about all this.
I am finally feeling excited about my journey again.
This summer was so hard struggling thru the depression and not really realizing it until the summer was mostly over.
But now I feel like I got back what I had last year when I started this whole thing.
Basically I only need to lose 3 1/2 pounds now to get below 200 by my birthday. Which is in 11 days.
So it is not totally impossible. Completely doable.
I changed my ticker to reflect my new goal. As the 165 I had earlier was really getting at me, since I didn't make it like I wanted to.
I am thinking that I am just going to have a slew of mini, mini-goals. This way I know that they are totally doable and they won't seem so far off that I lose sight of them.
Once I reach below 200 (again! LOL) I think I will set a mini goal for Halloween.
Something like get below 190 before Halloween.
Lucky for me that next few months are full of holidays 'cuz I can use them as my "date goals".
So maybe my mini-goals will look something like this:
Below by Holiday
200 by Birthday
195~190 by Halloween
189~185 by Thanksgiving (1 less week to work with)
184~175 by Christmas
174~170 by Step's B-Day (1-18) (again 1 less week)
169~160 by Valentine's
159~155 by St. Patrick's
155~150 by Easter
Until I run out of Holidays! LOL
Looking at this I think that it could be absolutely doable. Especially since I would be happy to fall anywhere with-in the ranges that I have set. So I don't need to nescessarily hit a certain number.
Oh and before I head on out of here,
I needed to fill up the petro in the car this morning and about had sticker shock at the pump! It was up to $3.99 a gal. Now I know there are plenty of people on the forum who may have been paying that or more for quite some time. But not here in Podunkville, IN. Needless to say I only put in $10. I figured it would be enough to get me to the next town for my appt and home again.
Got over in the next town and gas was $3.79 a gallon!!!!

Someone needs to explain to me how there can be such a vast difference in the price in only about 20 miles!!!!!

And of course the place where they was selling it at doesn't take checks. So I hustled my butt all the way into town so that I could overwrite my check to get cash. Praying the whole time that they wouldn't change the price before I got back.
Got there and the station across the street had already changed. YIKES!
But lucky for me this station still has to go outside and manually change the price. So they weren't able to change it
at the pump until the sign was changed.
I barely made it by the skin of my teeth. LOL
But make it I did.
Whew!
Later
