Before/Inbetween/Almost After - Pooh Style

Do I have to start the cocoa butter regime now, or can I wait until I've reached my goal and go from there? I'm honestly not sure what condition I'll be in when I reach a weight I'm satisfied with.

Dunno Rae, I am still in that not sure phase myself. I started using it a few weeks ago. Stopped recently because someone gave me something called StriVectin SD, its a cream that treats stretchmarks and costs about 130 bucks a tube.

I use that 3 times a day... its been less than a week, I can't report on results... but I am hoping its a nice alternative to a $7000 procedure.

Well, you will get 54 tubes for your 7k :) As long as you don't use that much and it works, I say it is worth it.

One tube lasts easily 6 months to a year depending on application area... I am hoping it works. I won't be disappointed if it doesn't... it's worth trying though.

P.S. Tease.

Ali, I think I will have to have a TT ... My stomach got up to 320 pounds ..u know ...its coming in ..for now ..but I think as I go lower I will have extra skin to attend to .. I am waiting till I am down to my goal weight .... I am going to start saving for one ... come this summer, because it will take me forever to save for something like that ..and it will take me years to lose all the weight ..because I am taking a med that makes me gain weight lol so its hard to lose ..

but I feel you there on the TT..

I am hoping I reach my goal weight and everything turns out fine

thats all we can hope for

You are doing awesome!:hurray:
Keep it up girly!

love yas

Morning dear :)

How goes it today?

Hehe, you're my internet wife. :)

Very well... added back in the two days of cardio/ab work beginning yesterday, ran about 3.5 miles, took about 28 minutes, so an eight+ minute mile. Not sore at all considering two days of intensity (the water I take in with the protein makes for a soreless Keith).

How goes by you?

Ahhh...my internet husband :) hehe

Running 3.5 miles...you are my hero. I was running for a while but it is so hard, not that I am afraid of that, but I was getting all manner of pains which seemed counterproductive...I abuse myself on the elliptical, although I fear that getting stale.

I did squats last night and upped my weight to 60lbs including the bar...it paled in comparison to the dude to my left who was squatting 250 or so, but it was all me :D

What are you doing for abs? I have miles to go before I get there...too much fat on the land.

BEAST! 60 lbs?! BEAST!!! :) Who cares what the meathead next to you was doing... first off, you're a BEAST... secondly... 60lbs isn't something to take lightly.

ABS for me... Leg Lifts, Extended Situp with a 10lb medicine ball (reach over the head for a full ab stretch), and side to sides with the medicine ball. I forgot to do Planks but I had done a good deal of work on them, I might save that for Thursday. Once this layer of fat goes away, I will be happy with what I see, it's quite obvious from certain angles I have a sixer waiting for me.

Enough about me damnit... whats so wrong with the elliptical!? It's a kickass machine. Saves those knees and gets the heart rate up there fairly high... it is mundane, so start adding resistance interval to that thing! Kick it up a notch, make it a bitch harder for two minutes. That time will FLY right by.

BEAST??? I felt like such a girl - the bar is 45 lbs and I added 15 pounds to it...it looks so wussy sitting on the rack :) But I have to say, I am proud of it, I have never seen another girl squat at my gym while I am there.

I am so bad w/exercise names, I to standing leg lifts (I think that is what they are called, I hold myself up on some contraption and bring my legs up to my waist (or thereabouts). I also do (I think) the extended situp (another contraption I lean down over and come back up, think a sit-up in reverse. Adding weight to it sounds like a good idea.

Awesome on the waiting six pack...I have no idea what lies in wait for me, I would love to have something along those lines, combined with the obliques coming out, that is such a hot look (but so far off for me :()

I love the elliptical, I have a herniated disc so it has been great for my back and I do alternating directions, switching every five minutes (you would not believe what it has done for my rear ;)) But you read about workouts getting stale and losing their effectiveness...I want to avoid that. I may have to add the resistance to get something more out of it.

Gotta keep the train moving forward...

Okay so, if you guys are internet spouses, I get to be your internet little sister/little sister-in-law. :biggrinjester:

Keith, that's an impressive job running there, bud. A mile in eight plus minutes is outstanding. I can only go 10 miles a minute, atm. Of course, if I didn't pace myself for an hour, I could probably go longer. Still, quite impressive. I'm proud of ya'!

And wow, Ali, you squatted 60lbs!! You go you little gym vixen! That's sorely impressive, my dear. *I* would have paled in comparison to you to, I promise. Maybe I could do 50. I haven't yet tried 10 more pounds, but the fact that you can do it, is kick butt!!

Our own little internet family :)

When I was running I was at 12min/mile which most people could walk at a faster pace...thanks for the compliments on the squats ~ I love doing them, they make me feel really powerful, hehe.
