Becoming yummy!

I forgot to ask how you found the kettlebells. I definitely feel weaker and not as firm having not done them properly for 10 days. I'll get back into them on Wednesday but it's definitely something you can do where a little bit goes a long way. 20 min every other day would do massive fast improvement to your strength, cardio and fat burning!

I probably didn't lose this week but I lost a lot of cm/in so I'm okay with it. No last chance for us, Isabel. We'll be knocked off our 1st place pedestal because of me! :(

Hi Verobc - thanks for popping in :) Some weeks I manage to get a lot more exercise than other weeks - I just try not to worry about it.

20to10 - I still need a decent kettlebell workout to go with it. Might look on ebay as Amazon is out of the ones I wanted.

My knees hurt a little at the moment - don't know if its from exercise or from bending down to see to the baby all the time, but I've kept the exercise light for the last week just in case. I don't want to do myself an injury.

Just realised - I've almost lost the exact amount my son weighs! He's only 4 months, but he's a very tall boy. No idea where he gets that from!
 
My baby boy is now 13 months if I work out and he is up I have him sit on my feet when I do leg lifts it hads 23pounds for me to lift and he just loves it he gigles the whole time, but then my daughter wants her turn and she is 40lb I just can do it as many times and she is all insulted lol I need to get stronger.

I have to admit I am struggling for workout time at the moment, however, I've been carrying baby around in his carrier and that is heavy! Also get out with him in the pram quite a bit, which is good exercise and I have so many stairs that I am always lugging heavy baby equipment up and down them all day long :)

Today I finally fit into a pair of jeans that were too tight. Very happy about that as I only had two other pairs that fit and one of those is falling off me...
 
Nearly into another pair of jeans that were too small, and my husband commented that my face looks slimmer :)
 
Hi. Thanks for stopping by my diary. I was not familar with kettlebells, so you've give me another idea for exercising. And congratulations on fitting into your jeans. That must be a great feeling.

Well done on the jeans. I tried the 14's and they definitely don't fit and won't fit for at least another stone!

I think I'll have a big loss this week so keep fingers crossed!
 
Congrats on the lose!!!! I have a drawer full of too small jeans I can't wait to fit into those!!!!!! That must be a great feeling!
 
March weigh in - I have lost 3 lbs this month. Not unhappy with that as I have definitely seen a difference in my measurements this month, but would like to step it up a bit this month and aim for 5lbs, which would get me nicely to 9 and a half stone...
 
My exercise aim for this month is get out for a walk with baby every day that it's not raining. Using the baby carrier is good for weightloss - I'm lugging 18lbs of baby round with me - that's nearly the amount I've lost so far. Will also try and get some workout DVDs in. Didn't do any last month, but I was having a bit of knee pain from lifting baby. They are feeling better now though, so no excuses. Weight loss is going to be tough this week because of Easter...
 
You can do it!!!! Say no to chocolat lol!!!! Good luck on that and I hope you had a good easter.
 
Wow, today is the 100th day of the year, and therefore the 100th day of my diet. I don't think I've ever stayed on the wagon that long before!

Baby and I have colds - his first :( but still managed to get out for a walk in the sunshine today. Am really enjoying this bit of sun. I hope it continues. i never noticed how crap the weather is until I went on maternity leave. When I was working it was mostly cold and dark on the way there and the same on the way back, so who really cared?

Am feeling a bit low in energy from the cold - I usually have oodles to spare, but I am determind to meet up with my best friend and go shopping tomorrow as planned. I don't get to see her very often as she lives an hour or two away, so I am determind not to let this get in the way. Baby will be spending the day at home, having some quality time with his daddy, so hopefully he won't mind me not being there all day while he is feeling unwell :(
 
I hope you enjoye your shopping...A day with a friend without the baby WOW how did you manage that!!! LOL I hope you feel better and enjoye your grown up day!!!
 
Oh, what a wonderful day! The best thing about shopping with my best friend is that we like the same clothes and take roughly the same size (although she is top heavy and I am bottom heavy) so we each grab an armful of clothes, try them on and then swap. I found some great blue jeans but will have to hide them from hubby as he specifically sked me not to buy any more blue jeans! But these was were so perfect I had to have them...

Weight is plateuing a bit at the moment so I think I need to have more days at the bottom of my cal allowance. Really want to see a loss this week as I didn't have one last week...
 
Been doing good on the diet for the few days. Am trying to keep under 1500 most days, with just a couple of days each week at the high end of my cal range. Also managing to get out for a walk with the baby (in the baby bjorn) most days, which is good exercise. Even if I just walk ten minutes to the shops and then back again, it must be burning some cals considering I am carrying him, and quite often any shopping I pick up while I'm there. Sometimes we go to the farm or the park, or to the river though. When it's nice, I like going out. When it's cold I'm not so keen...
 
Biggest loser weigh in tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

Had some lovely sunny weather for the last few days and have been a lot, enjoying it with baby. Unfortunately Hubby's stuck in New York due to the volcanic ash problem. He was supposed to be home on saturday, but now won't be home until thurs at the earliest...
 
I messed up yesterday and had a binge, which I haven't done in a long time. I'm not proud of myself, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it, either. I think the best thing to do is to pretend it never happened. I weighed myself this morning, and I don't seem to have done any major damage to my weightloss, thank god.

On a happier note, the jeans that were too tight for me at the beginning of the year are now getting lose. They are not very nice jeans, so I'll be delighted when they no longer fit!
