That reminds me, I was in Kohl's one time and I seen this Kitchen set and it was all pink and it made me wonder how cool it would be to have an all black kitchen with pink dishes, forks, pans, and everything. I'd love that. lol

i have a pink themed kitchen though it has pastel blue too...very 50's vintage style...with lots of cath kidston stuff...so cute. even had a gorg pink smeg fridge too until my youngest swung on it one too many times...& the door fell off.........

but i do love black & pink too!! very sexy colours together esp in the boudoir!!

my living room is mostly done in that...among other things have a big black velvet chair from france/large black standing mirror/black chinese wedding cabinet...but with pink stuff too...like my pink moroccan leather pouffe & one wall is pinky/red like the colour you'd expect a bordello to be!! love a bit of purple too...have a purple glass lamp with black shade & a purple velvet overstuffed sofa/couch that you just want to collapse into & never leave...or maybe thats just me............queen of slackerville.........

we're quite spoilt here in liverpool b/c Neil Fitzmaurice an actor who was in the office (& the peep show among other things...) is on our local radio station 5 dys a wk!! love his show...hes a great mimic. he puts on all kinds of different accents including those from within the city...& makes me giggle...a lot!! developing a bit of a crush actually...:)

i caught some of the office (US one) the other day & was really surprised that i didn't think it was funny...yet i love Steve Carell & the office (original) i don't get why they felt they had to remake it for the US market?? its not like we did a different version of fraiser/friends/greys/satc etc (some of my FAVE shows EVER!!) why fix something if it ain't broke??? the office will always be about david brent/ricky gervais for me...& based in slough!! LOL

another series i love is life on mars...& that now has a US adaptation too...why?? that show is soooo funny b/c of the time & place its set in ie manchester in the 70's...its whole humour is tied up in that...it can't really be about accents is it?? b/c believe me a northern accent is as hard to make out for a southerner in the UK as it is to anybody in the US LOL...but isn't that part of what makes a show/movie unique...where its based?!! i love that accent in fargo & the way they say YA...a lot!! what part of the US is that accent from?? then i can add it to my 'library' of US accents that i know that so far only includes...southern/californian & new york!! anyway i don't believe americans are really that ignorant that they wouldn't watch a show with strong regional accents in from outside the US. so is it about trying to appeal to a wider US audience...having harvey keitel starring in life on mars etc??
