Beagle's No Lie Zone

Hey Girl You Can And Will Do It! Have A Safe And Happy 4th! I Dunno If You Guys Celebrate It But Wishing Ya It Anyways Lol!

Heh, we don't celebrate July 4, we celebrate July 1 for Canada Day! So I already had my festivities. And by Festivities, I mean I played video games all night :p

Okay so today was a really good start to the diet! For brunch Josh made me 3 scrambled eggs in canola oil (no saturated fat!), with some cheese and green onions, mm! Then I went to the gym and spent a whole hour on the eliptical... lol I could barely walk out! I just finished having a foot-long freezie because its so hot today, and they're only 100 calories! Now I'm off to find something good for dinner because after such a workout I'm darned hungry!

*sees Beagle's back... stops stapling MISSING posters on electric posts* :D

Welcome back Beagle! We were beginning to worry! :) Hope you had a good Canada Day weekend. And good luck on your strict diet! I am on one too. Best of luck!

Planning for tomorrow!!
I have to be up early tomorrow, like 8am, so that I can call around to various reception locations for my wedding next summer and make appointments to see them on the weekend. Its kind of retarded that it seems no Community Halls staff their phones past noon, but I guess I gotta play by their rules.

So, for breakfast I think I'll start with a high-fibre cereal, maybe with a banana chopped in for flavour. I'll have a meat and cheese sandwhich for lunch, and then pack up some leftover chili from the other night for dinner at work. I gotta make sure to keep my water bottle on me all day!

After work, Josh and I will be going to the gym together. He'll probably try and wuss out after 20 minutes again, and if he does... well he can just wait for me. Or maybe we'll walk home after a short workout at the gym... its been so beautiful here at night lately even though its been sweltering during the day. Hm, I guess that would be acceptable. 20-30 minutes of clean and disinfected gym work out, 20 minutes of outdoorsy and uneven work out!

Sounds like a great plan! And if your fiance is anything like mine, just getting him to work out at all is a big deal. Take it when you can get it. He almost went jogging with me this morning, but then, "Oops I'm in the middle of making breakfast, I guess you'll have to go without me since you promised your friend you'd meet her at 8, sorry honey." Oh well. He's got genetics on his side and I don't.

Anyway, I'm the princess of tangents today, sorry Beagle. I'm proud of you for continuing to work out even when Josh stops because it's so easy to quit when your partner quits. Good job!

Some men! Just don't want to try anything interesting! :D Hehe, I think I can let Josh have some slack when it comes to working out with me, he's been so super supportive with all this loss and the hard work that goes with it :)

So my planning last night was for naught it would seem. First of all, someone ate all the food I was going to eat today! So I had to have my bran cereal PLAIN (hell if I'm gonna put white sugar in anything I eat!), and an egg salad sandwich for lunch (with fat free mayo of course). Now I need to find something else to pack for dinner at work since apperently the chilli got thrown out even though it was still perfectly good! Can't afford to food court it today since I put most of my paycheque on my credit card, and then I had to buy a buspass too - I have all of $8 spending cash for the next week and a half *mope*

Well I'm off to rummage the cupboards for something packable. Oh, but I'm going to do situps first! I almost forgot :p

Way to go Beagle!!!! :D You've got it together but good! Proud of ya! :D Hope today has gone well for ya! :D

Beagle, I like your mention of the fact that the garlic crackers you ate were broken. My brother and I used to joke that broken cookie were ok to eat because all the calories fall out when they break.

You can overcome this back slide. I have had two cases of gaining again since I started my journey. It took me a little while, maybe one to two weeks, to get going again but I got back on track. It sounds like you are doing the same thing. Good work.

Hey Beagle it's nice to see you back on here, I did wondere where on earth you had got to but I'm glad to see you were at least having a good time when you were away.:p I don't think I'd have been able to resist the lure of pastry either so I can't very well say much (says she who's just ate half a deep fried pizza ).
Hope you have a good week and manage to stay on track!

Sounds like you are doing well and getting back on track Beagle. Good for you!!!

So what kind of venue are you looking at for your wedding? Even though planning weddings can be stressful, I think it's so exciting too. Do you already have your dress?

BizeB: So far, so good! Day's not over yet, but Josh bought me a grilled chicken breast and caesar salad for dinner... but he told me halfway through mixing up tuna salad - guess that's lunch tomorrow!

BigBear: I heard that one too, but my sister bakes cookies ALL THE TIME so I've had to learn to count them anyways (thankfully she took all of the last batch to work before I even got to see them so I wasn't tempted... only found out because she left the dirty cookie sheets for me to clean!). I think this is my second 'back track' since starting, but I've had countless plateaus... hopefully this isn't one of them.

Crunchie: all the festivities are over, so I have no excuse to go and get pastries myself (they're always so much more resistable when it comes out of your own pocket ;)). Pizza... well I still have trouble with that, but usually I have someone to share it with so I haven't had a whole half yet.

Scarlett: Josh and I aren't doing a "traditional" wedding, basically no ceremony, and therefore, no wedding dress. What we are doing is just renting a hall and throwing a hellova party for all of our friends to celebrate with us. I will however, be renting a veiled headpeice to wear around the whole day, just for the heck of it :p

that seems like the ideal wedding... and hopefully stress free for you... :) and your friends get to share in your happy moment...

- stuffed egg salad sandwich w/ff mayo, green onions and lotsa pepper: 400

hmmm I think I need to take a lesson off yourself for food, chicken and tuna salad must be better than deep fried (dripping with grease) pizza. Good luck for the rest of the day though I'm sure you won't need it!:D

That sounds like an awesome wedding!!! What fun!

And wow...your calories and food are looking good. Rock on, beagle!

Thoughts:
Just for the heck of it today, I weighed myself because I haven't lately... it was just after lunch, and I was dressed, albeit in a very light dress because weather forbid anything heavier than silk-weight (it wasn't silk, I'm not that rich, but about the same weight), and it was 180 :) So I'll try and remember to do so again tomorrow morning before breakfast so I can get an accurate measurement.

I need to get this darn pop out of my house. I always have some kind of drink going, but if there's pop available to me I just don't want water. Such a bad beagle!

In completely unrelated news, I spent about 5 hours today trying to get all the "cousins" in the game "We Love Katamary". I have almost half of them and then I get a secret level! Once I get those, I want to try and get "Super Clears" on all the levels and see if there's any secret levels for doing that. Mmm summer vacation! I start some more summer classes next week so I have to squeeze 2 months of slacking into a week since I'm gonna have my booty worked hard after that! I'm taking 2 classes - 1 that's 2.5 hours a day, 5 days a week for three weeks (a dinosaur course for science credits), and another that's 3 hours a day, 2 days a week for 6 weeks (a demographics course towards my sociology major).

Oh, and one more bit of news! I finally managed to get a hold of someone that manages one of the reception halls I was looking at, and Josh and I are going to have a look around this Saturday to see if its what we're interested in! The date we wanted is already booked, but we don't have anything else booked yet so we can pick a different weekend if needed.
