Ok, game on again! I'm still hovering at 180, so we are neck and neck. Oh no!!!

*whew* its been a busy few days, sorry for not checking in!! I haven't been entirely slacking though, I went to the gym twice since the weekend, and have been doing my situps every night! I actually wrote a nice long post a couple of days ago from work, but then my login timed out and I lost the whole darned thing and didn't have time to rewrite it! :mad:

Anyways, all my schoolin' is done for the next month or so! Got my final exam/paper handed in at the university, and wrote my class exam for my driving lessons. The actual in-car lessons don't start until september though :(

I actually haven't weighed-in this week, and I don't think I will either. I took an unintended break food-wise over the weekend and the last couple of days. I didn't go hog-wild or anything, but the past week or so I've just been mental for salty snacks like nachos and popcorn, though I've been keeping them in fairly small proportions.

So that's where I am lately, and hopefully I'll be a lot more regular here again :)
 
ouch. i've done that for emails and my blog entries and stuff. it sucks when after you've written EVERYTHING it gets lost. :( sorry to hear it happened to you too.

good luck with your grades. and drink more water. it'll get rid of all the water retention. :)
 
hey beagle! Hows everything been going for you?? I took a bit of time away from here, oops :) hope your doing good still, i'm gonna be gone for two weeks, but in the meantime, hope you are in the low 70s when I'm back :)
 
Do whatever you need to do, but you don't have to fear the scale for long. 3 days or so of good healthy eating & LOTS of water drinking will flush out any of the "bad" stuff you're holding on to from the weekend.

Make good choices the rest of the week & this weekend. Think of what's really BEST for you!
 
Who was it that told me a broken cookie has no calories? What about two broken cookies? Heh, my mom made cookies last night, and because she stacked some while they were still warm, a bunch of them kind of melted together... I tried to extract only one, but I got parts from about three different cookies, but not a single whole one! It's the only thing I've had to eat today, and in about an hour I'm having dinner, which'll be Quizno's - The small subs I can only estimate at about 500 each, because Quizno's doesn't make the nutritional info available. I'll also be getting a cup of cheesy broccoli soup, which I would have estimated about 300 calories for a cup, but all the cheese & broccoli soups I have found calorie counts for have been like 150 calories for a cup! So I'm not sure how to estimate it because its a fairly rich soup, very cheesey *drool*.

Regardless, because I haven't really had a chance to eat much today (I didn't get up until 12:30!), and won't have a chance to eat afterwards (all the restraunts and stores are closed by the time I'm off work, and all the food in my house is utter junk), I think I can justify a bit of a heavier dinner to keep me going all night. I don't like having one heavy meal, but on days like today I'll take what I can get.
 
You sound like you need to take your credit cards and go on a big fat healthy eating shop Beagle, I usually enjoy doing stuff like that.

If I could, I really really would. I did for a short while. The thing is, I have about $150 per month of spending money after automatic savings towards my tuition ($250 per cheque which will *just barely* let me afford tuition next term), and putting at least $100 per cheque on my already way-too-high credit card bill (which is partly that way from spending $75 a week on healthy food, though my regular bills and charges, some surprise costs, and some unwise purchases are the primary culprits). If I can get my credit card under control, which I should in about 3 or 4 months if I stop buying crap I don't need, then I think I can afford buying my own groceries again.

LOL maybe I should stick my credit card in the freezer! Can't use it until its thawed out, and hopefully by then I'll have reconsidered any unnecessary purchases ;)

To be fair, the sun comes up here very early!!

I stayed up way later than I should have, trying to get a side project done. I have to go to bed early tonight though since I gotta work tomorrow!

Anyways, food for today was pretty snackish.
- ham and cheese sandwich (300)
- grilled chicken breast, instant mashed potatoes and corn (600)
- 2 rice krispie squares (180)
- granola bar (150)
- apple (50)
- banana (75)
Total - 1400.

No exercise today, but I think I went through at least 3L of water!

I was getting up just as you posted that! LOL guess you can wake me up from two timezones away, Cassie!

I think today is going to be a good day :) I started off with a pretty big breakfast, two eggs and bacon with toast, which should take me through most of the day. After work Josh and I are heading to the gym, and then we'll be heading out for dinner together - he wants to go to Denny's, I hope they have good salads, because heaven knows I can't have anything else on their menu without skipping the rest of the day!
 
Do broken cookies really ahve no calories???
Sounds like a fib to me, too good to be ture.

Breakfast sound sooo good!! (bacon doesnt' sit well anymore for me :rolleyes: ) Hope you have fun at the gym and at Denny's - they have some pretty good salads and light wraps (here anyway) :D Hope you are able to find something you can enjoy! :D
