Beagle's No Lie Zone

Okay I'm back again, and this time I have my head on straight. Here are the rules of this journal:

NO LIEING! Not from me, and not from you. I promise to not skip out on anything I've eaten, or anything I'm feeling, if you guys all promise to not lift me up with fake support like saying I'm doing "so good" if I haven't made any progress at all. REAL support is always welcome, and I love you guys, so just be honest about it :)

That's really the only rule. I'm glad to be back, and I'm going to do it RIGHT this time! :D

Weigh-In: 182 lbs, which actually is a loss of 4 lbs because last week I was a little (lot) naughty and shot up to 186

This is my new diet plan, which is actually the same one Josh is using, and he lost over 50 lbs with it over about half a year. I like to call it the "Put Down the Damn Fork!" diet. Rather than doing several small meals over the course of the day, which puts at an unbelievably high risk of taking more than I should, there is one large meal for dinner. Not a huge feast, but just a regular dinner.

The hardest part for the first week or so was that I was hungry all day. Not a starving hungry like in a fast, just hungry. But if you keep pushing through it, eventually you don't even feel hungry until its almost dinner time anyways. And then at dinner you can eat basically anything. The other night I had a chicken breast, a huge pile of fried potatoes, two servings of greek salad and two dinner rolls! Its basically the same calorie content as several small meals a day, so by no means am I starving myself. But by basically laying down a strict law for myself for the rest of the day, its much less tempting to pick up bad snacks and such.

I Am Sio Glad Your Back And Feeling Better! You Know I Will Be Strait Up With Ya Hehehe And I Also Expect To See You Doing Turbo Jam Workouts More Often That Is The Best Key You Have I Still Say!!! I Know You Can Do This And I Know Its Hard But I Will Be Here Through The Good And The Bad And Most Important Of All Is That Your Honest To You!!!!

Glad you're back!!!! :D The truth WILL set you free :D And you can count on the truth from this chick :D (you may be sorry but it'll be true! ;) ).

Yesterday's food:
- banana
- 2 slices toast
- caesar salad
- chicken breast
- handful of potatoe chips

Missed out on the gym because I had to stay late to work again though :( I'm going today before class to make up for it.

Awsome You Are Choosing The Right Foods I Am Not Even Gonna Fuss About The Chips Because You Dont Them In Moderation And Portion!

Lets Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday's food:
- peanut butter & honey toast - 350
- small bag of almonds - 350
- Wendy's bacon cheese burger combo (with diet coke and a side caesar salad) - 840
Total: 1540

I have been really really slacking in the exercise department lately :( Just can't get motivated between school and work, even though I technically have tons of time.

Though, last night was the BIGGEST waste of time I've ever had to participate in. My sister is graduating from high school, which is great, but all the high schools have to put on this Commencement show, where basically they parade EACH AND EVERY graduating student across the stage, interject with the school band and speeches several times and then show a 20 minute slide show which again includes every single student in it - all 600 of them. (I'm explaining this because I can only hope this is just a local tradition and that nobody else has had to sit through that) We seriously sat there for over four hours to see my sister on stage for about twenty seconds.

Ugh, at least I had the foresight to bring a sketchbook.

wooohoo

Update: Just did 30 mins of Turbo Jam Cardio Party :D

I am proud of you for doing turbo jam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job on the Turbo Jam!!! :D How BORING that commencement must have been!!! Did you sketch A LOT??! LOL 600 students! Holy Moly!!! I think there are 200 in the kids whole elementary school! LOL We don't have a high school here so when they finally get to that point (IF they ever get to that point  ) they can choose any HS off the island that they want :D

Hope today goes well for ya and you aren't forgetting to drink that clear stuff :D Your food is looking good too ( except the burger thing, but so far its not an every day thing :D ). Keep it up!!!!

First off, AWESOME ON DOING THE TURBO JAM.....one thing that may help, that you may have realized already, at least when i have no desire to exercise and forget (brain lapse) on how imporatant it is for weight loss, i get totally dressed to exercise (while pouting) and just start...after about 10 minutes of misery ;), usually i'm into it and am proud that i am doing it....if not, then that is not my day, my body needs to recover and i'll go for a walk and get something in as i am already dressed to go! just a thought.

Man, yesterday I was just an exercise machine! ... and now I am so sore ><

I already told you about the 30 mins Turbo Jam, and then I went for a 15 minute speed-walk downtown before work, and after work I did 120 situps (30 on each muscle group)!

My food was not very good at all, and I'm a little ashamed that I've had 3 bad days like this, so I'm going to have to work extra hard to be good over the weekend.

No lies! I love it. Ok, so let me be brutally honest with you.

First off, Way to go on losing weight!! I came back and you are 182! Yeah baby, yeah!!! You're back in the game.

Second off, what's up with this 3 days of bad eating? Better knock it off! One day is bad, but three in a row is very naughty.

For some Motivation: Right now we are almost neck and neck with the 170 race.

Miss Jelly in the Lead @ 180
Bize second runner up @ 181.3
Beagle, the underdog @ 182

Very close, very close! I want to see you kick some butt this weekend and work off that snackin. Of course I will be out with friends and I will do my best not to gain any wieght while I'm gone. Don't want to lose my first place standing. hehe

Have a great weekend Beagle, I'll be back on Monday and I want to see some better news with your dairy. haha

No kidding three days of bad eating is naughty! Somebody spank me into shape, lol.

I've been considering just popping some extra strength advil and going to the gym for a bit today just to stay active even if I can't go that hard.

Beagle, You're still "in the race" so get goin'!! NO bad eats, no BAD treats! You're set up for an awesome weekend ( hey you know what you need to do and you have us :D what more could ya need? LOL) SO GO FOR IT!!! :D

Yesterday's food:
- granola bar - 150
- handful of stone crackers - 150
- chicken (white and dark meat) - 600
- pasta salad - 200
- homestyle fries - 200
Total: 1300

Okay, sorry about that short-n-sweet post, I was in a hurry and didn't want to forget my foods before running to work!

Today has been a pretty average day. Food is okay, work is okay...
Bacon'n'eggs for breakfast, and actually cooked through so not nearly so much fat (probably around 450 cals), and then a dry taco salad for lunch - hamburger meat, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes (I guess 300ish calories). At work, I only got to do the "helper" stuff I've been doing for the past month or so for a couple of hours, and then had to go back to taking calls again! *gasp* Actually its not so bad, its pretty slow today so I don't have the stress of back-to-back calls, and I imagine I'll get pulled for something else before my next break.

I didn't end up doing any exercise yesterday, unless you count standing in line for X-men 3 for an hour and a half ;) I'll have to make sure to at least do some situps tonight when I get home and some Turbo Jams before going to bed.

Today/Yesterday's Food (its 2am, not sure what to classify it as):
- bacon and eggs - 450
- taco meat salad - 300
- leftover chicken - 600
- apple - 75
Total: 1425

No exercise :(

I did however, play around in Photoshop and come up with some Save the Date card ideas:

I don't like #2 that much, because I have to find a better font to use, but otherwise its okay.
