Hiya Mechelle!! I agree with everyone, is a great way to track just about everything you put into your body and and fiber will help too. (I'm lazy about the fiber too :eek:;))

It says that, "The recommended minimum daily amount is about 500 milligrams and no more than 2,400 milligrams."

Hey Mechelle - not to throw one more thing into the mix, but have your calories been too low?

That tends to stall me all too frequently!

Sorry to hear ya feeling down because of
the scale have you tried measuring?I have heard a couple peeps
mention that before and I hear ya on the sodium alot of my lean
cuisines /weight watchers frozen meals are very high in sodium
but like you said we drink enough water and I do pee several times
a day so I figured it balance it's self out?
If not maybe try preparing more meals and making enough for a few
days at a time cut the frozen meals down to 1 a day and have it for
lunch (thats if you eat those meals like I do,I have 1 for lunch and sometimes
1 for dinner to.

WHat about taking your measurements? Do you do that??? i've heard that sometimes when the scale doesn't move, your still loosing inches.

I measured this afternoon. I know not the best time, and I have lost a little bit in inches, not much. I'm frustrated, but not quitting! I am too close!! LOL;)
 
inches are a big deal!!! even half an inch means weeks of work you did to acheive muscle!! keep up the good work and you will make it!!! I know you can do it!!

I felt the same way last week...but kept going...and finally saw a difference!!! you're almost there!

It depends on how much you want to make,but...
beef
ranch beans
cr chick soup(FF)
rotel
gr enchilada sauce
flour tortilla
cheese

Add however much you want of each thing, to your desired tastes. Taco seasoning is also good, but I was out!!:)
 
I am adicted to scales. i weigh all day long. they say it's not good for you, but I can't seam to break the habit!:(

I hear you. Sometimes I weigh myself multiple times during the day. Its like a 'fix' on some days when you need to find a reason not to eat. Usually though I just do it in the morning (lightest time as you know).

I also do the same thing - like I know it is bad to weigh myself late in the day because I always count my morning weight, but I just can't stop - after the gym, before bed....ahhhh - get me off the scale!!!!
 
Yay, Mechelle's got a picture!! I was thinking you had dark hair, maybe that's 'cuz I don't know any blonde people with your name :rolleyes:
 
I'm also addicted to weighing. I won't let myself during the day though because I know the numbers aren't real. I only weigh first thing in the morning after I pee. I'm at my lowest and it's so encouraging to see the
10ths of a lbs coming off each day. :) When I plateau it becomes a curse because I get so discouraged. Ugh... :)

Enchiladas sound so yummy! I have a recipe very simalar to yours and I always get rave reviews. :) It was so funny how you thought processes change when you're eating right -- my friend had posted on her blog about making funnel cake and pictures... the sight almost made me ill. It looked so bad!! :) I didn't even have an inkling of desire to eat it. But yeah, enchilada's are a different story!!!

Thanks guys for dropping in! I finally got a picture yes! I was a bout 10 lb heavier in that one. I rarely take pics of myself, as I don't care for them! LOL I guess everyone kind of feels that way huh?:p
