Dq, I'm just doing what I can in between holding my son. This virus is the pits! I did 100 crunches and various arm stuff with weights. Just whatever I can do fairly quickly and still be mom! Not what I usually do, but getting something in anyway!:D :D :D
 
Hey, stopping by to say hi. I hope the kiddos feel good enough tomorrow for some trick or treating. Have you tried calorie cycling to break your platteau? I could work...it could.
 
I'm not sure what you do with the calories? What is calorie cycling?I'm willing to try it. Today the kids are all feeling a lot better. But the bad cough remains. I knowthe kids want to do Haolloween, and I am a sucker who will let them. It's took a col turn here though and I'm worried! I Hate making decisions sometimes! hAVEN'T had breakfast yet.Taking the kids to school and i'll be back.............

I have no idea what calorie cycling means either. But I wanna find out. It may be when you eat a few things that you wouldn't normally eat on a diet to make your body think that its not dieting...

I read about it over on Sparkpeople and Manaloa and some others were doing it. I think it's like peaks and valleys with your calories within your limit for the week. Keeping your body guessing, it's supposed to make your body work harder because it doesn' t get adapted to one level of calories...that's a bad explanation. I'm sure someone else could do a better job, maybe M or T2.
 
I hope walking my kids around for hALLOWWEN WORKS FOR EXERCISE! Cause that's what I did!! Man it was cold. Didn't stay out for much over an hour. My kids are still not feeling great! It looks like I may have gained a lb. from last night's eat out!:( Anyway it's way e:eek: arly so we'll se when I get up again!
 
I had that workout myself. My daughter and I were out for a solid 2 hours! We walked a HUGE subdivision, every street but one and that's only because we ran out of time. I didn't realize that darn place ran so far back...geesh!! Both of our legs were like spaghetti when we got home. I had a couple of pieces of special dark chocolate and crashed!! What a night!


I'm glad the little ones at least got to get out some last night. Hoping for a full recovery soon!

Thanks OHD! i did bad this morning though! My mother sent me & the husband choc cupcakes she made home for our treat! That's what I started with for breakfast. Bad, I know soo bad! Beating myself up...:mad: Then I had some oatmeal and 1 almond joy! I think I am done for the day though! I'll really have to exercise that off.:eek:

Slips, trips, and falls are generally caused by somebody leaving something undone or in the way. When you slip, just get right back up and keep on keeping on.
