Yesterday was a pretty darn good day! I woke up and did maybe a half hour of strength training. Squats, calf-raises, donkey kicks, girl push-ups, etc. Also went for a 3 mile run despite the 90 degree heat. Four co-workers were with me, and we always stop at the halfway point to rest and regroup, but other than that I pushed through the heat and ran the rest of it. We were all proud just to have gotten out there.
I also managed to avoid mindless snacking! I had a big bowl of cereal with dates and soy milk for dinner and then I was done for the night. Instead of eating I showered, did some laundry, emptied the dishwasher, washed a few dishes... I woke up feeling pretty darn good about myself!
