Hey Bdu - CONGRATS!!! That's a fantastic loss! You should be SOOO very happy!!! You're working hard, and it's paying off! The fact that you're losing weight, is a sign that you're doing something right, AND that you
can do this! I can't speak for everyone on here, but I know that my weight has really brought me down in many MANY aspects of my life. I don't do the things I want to do, when i was in my relationship I was always self-conscious of how I looked, I never wanted to be touched or seen...my weight ruined my life. But I've had enough of it! And I'm going to change it! It sounds like you've had enough of it too!! It'll be a hard, and long journey, but it'll be worth it! And even when i don't see a loss, I can still get happiness out of the fact that I'm accomplishing a goal that I've set out JUST for me! And I'm doing it myself! You can do this! And as BugDude said, you should talk to your doctor- they can help you get over the hump, and into a place where you can go forward!! And another great thing about eating healthy and exercising, is you'll notice changes in your mood!

You can do this! You've already proven that you work hard and are devoted- because you've lost the weight! Continuing on will get easier and easier! And you'll notice more and more changes!! It'll be worth it!!
@ BugDude: Oh gosh! wow! sorry to hear about your knee, but 1) wow congrats on the fast surgery (I forget that it's different in Canada, you would have to wait MONTHS up here!! hehehe), and 2) CONGRATS ON THE NEW RECOVERY TIME!! I can't believe Monday (today) you could be in therapy!! Did you go? How was it!?
When you were talking about the set back, I was thinking about things you could do outside of weight on your legs...have you thought about shadow boxing? Sitting down and doing it can be GREAT cardio!! I hear that you can really REALLY get your heart rate up doing that!
I hope your knee is doing well! And that you were able to make it to therapy today!! Take care !
