The workouts are going awesome! I'm posting in BI Forum right now and I'll copy and paste over here! I'm starting to feel really strong and sexayyyy!!

Hey everyone... just catching up!! I've been so busy at work!

Let's start with Thursday:

I did my Routine B and it was awesome! I did way better than I did on Routine A:

Routine B:
5 min of cardio Check
Foam Rolling or Dynamic Mobility Stuff Stretching on Mat
Deadlift - 2 sets of 5reps Check, I only could do 95 pounds, it was hard!
Overhead Press - 4 sets of 12 reps Check! I loved this one! It worked out different muscles than in the past!
Chinup - 2 sets of 8 reps UHHH, no check!
Single Leg Squats - 2 sets of 12 reps Definately No Check! I could barely do one with the help of the hubby and then we just looked ridiculous! I will keep plugging away, don't you worry!
Tricep Extensions - 2 sets of 12 reps CheckPallof Presses - 3 sets of 15 reps Check

Metabolic Circuit:
30 sec on and 30 sec off
Jumping Jacks Check
Burpees Check!
Pushups Check! I did 5 this time... I'm getting closer!High Knees Check! Although, looking in the mirror and seeing my flab jiggle around, isn't such a pretty sight. Good thing I was in the "Women's Section" of the Gym...
Jumping Jacks again Check
Bodyweight Squats Check

Friday:

Had a relax day with it being a Utah holiday and swam and had an awesome BBQ with the Mom...

Saturday:

Took the RZR out and had Sushi that night.... it was so amazing but 20 minutes later I had a blowout in the bathroom... that probably was TMI! Sorry!

Sunday:

Went to the fields by our house to play catch and run the bases for 1 hour. I am so sore today! It was awesome and I'm excited to get fall ball started soon. I'll be playing co-ed slow pitch on Mondays and fast pitch on Wednesday. I am so excited

Monday:

Took the doggies for a walk and had Subway for dinner, yum!

Nothing too exciting... when my boss is in town, I can't mess around like I want too! I'll catch up with you guys.....

Happy Hump Day!

Good late morning everyone!

Last night was a relax night... went home and didn't feel like doing anything... I was exhausted for some reason... me and the hubs had taquitos with cheese and sour cream (not the best, I know :blush5: ) and watched t.v. for the rest of the night...

This morning, I have been pretty busy with work but alas, my Boss's Daughter from Texas is in for the next couple of weeks, so I know he will be busy with that. Yes! :hurray:

Also, he is such an interesting character. Yesterday, he went and bought 25 little pheasant hatchlings to live at his house. He just wants them to roam around I guess.... granted, we had a lot of Client things to do but sometimes, his priorities are messed up. :banghead:

On another personal side note, the hubs and I have therapy tonight and I'm interested to see what transpires then. We have come such a long way and I hope to keep moving forward in that general direction. :cheers2:

It's Routine A tonight and I'm getting excited :coolgleamA:.... I also have decided to get Lyle McDonald's Rapid Fat Loss book, as per suggested by Steve. He said it was a hard diet to follow but I'm willing to try it out. I still have quite a lot of fat to lose and I'm willing to do what it takes. I want to just focus on maintaining for once, rather than losing. If I have to put my "Bulk" :beating: dreams on hold, then so be it.

Well, I'm off like a prom dress!! Until later.... :leaving:

This is a weight loss forum, missy. No eating allowed. Especially not the eating of human beings. That's not going help anyone lose weight.

Well, unless the person you eat is like reeeeeally small. Like, even smaller than that family of midgets on that one TLC show. You know the one I'm talking about. The one with the small kids and the dad that acts like he's the second coming of Jesus. Yup, that one.

What was I talking about?

Off like a prom dress? That didn't happen for me. In fact, I only saw like 6 inches of skin on my girlfriend that night and most of it was on her face. I shelled out like a thousand dollars and I didn't get shit. Not a kiss, not even a boob grope. Prom sucked.

Anyway, it seems like you've been doing pretty good. Not as good as this guy though...

:hat:

I mean, look at him. He's got a big 'ole hat and everything. He's better than you. You don't have a big hat, do you? Yup, that's right...better than you. And, he managed to get that hat without even having a chin...or a nose. So, yeah...suck on that.

But seriously, you seem to be doing good.

Oh, also...can I have one of the hatchlings you mentioned? I'm huuuuungwy (said like a cute baby - ok, a FAT cute baby).

Cheif:
If it makes you feel any better, my boyfriend bought his gf for prom her dress and everything... and she broke up with him right before and took someone else... and WORE THAT DRESS HE BOUGHT HER!!!! lol

yeah.... good shit.

bansheebee!!! How are the work outs going!?!?! I am thinking i need to switch mine up... im GAINING NOT LOSING!!! :( not fat but i guess muscle....

i dunno... are you finding that too with more weight lifting... only like a pound or two... but its frustrating because i am trying to LOSE WEIGHT... not gain it back in another form!!! lol

Hey Bansheebabe, what's new? You been keeping up with the exercising? How's the eating going?

Hey Derrick! Thanks for checking in on me! I have mainly been posting over at Steve's Forum... I'm going to copy and paste my NEW adventures....! I'll come and stop by your way!

Hey girl! They are going awesome! I haven't lost or gained anything but NORMALLY, I do tend to "hold on" to the weight because of being sore and what not when I weight lift. I think if you are worrying about the weight gain, you should take a break, you will get that "whooshing" effect... see this link:

Also, are your clothes fitting the same? IMO, I don't think it's bad to gain MUSCLE. Your body may look different by you might actually look even thinner, with the whole idea that muscle is more DENSE than fat. It takes up less space... so even if you weigh more, you will be thinner.

Hey all!!

Hey guys! I haven't been around too much because I have been spending a lot of time at Steve's Forum. I still like to come around and talk to the amazing people I have met however... so I'll copy and paste my journal entries from over there, just in case anyone is interested...:blush5:

Posted on Thursday, July 30th:

I am so excited to report, that I have made it through Lyle McDonald's Rapid Fatloss book and am starting it on Monday! It is a lot less restrictive than I thought it was going to be... although, I am going to miss fruit.

Here are the details.. (For those of you that have done this or know about it, I'm sorry to bore you..)

Based on the assumption that to maintain my weight in it's current state, I need to multiply 14 calories per pound at 158.5 to get 2,219. In Lyle's book, he says to lose about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week, that should put me at 819-919 calories a day. This is definately extreme but I only factored in 5 of those days being that low. He mentions that I can have 1 meal a day per week of my choosing, along with a 5 hour re-feed on a day of carbohydrates (most likely fruit, good starches, wheat pasta) to refuel my muslces. With these days, I will up my calories back to 2,219 for those 2 days. I think Friday and Saturday will be the best days for me, although, he does suggest different days to not be consecutive. Sunday to Thursday seems pretty doable for the low cal days. I'm going to do the diet for 6 weeks.

Also, I need to eat 138.1 grams of protein a day, which I'm going to factor in at having 34.5 grams per meal. Protein will be divided up as this per meal:

Fat-free Cheese: 8.6 oz
Chicken: 14.8 oz
Egg Whites: 9.2 oz

He suggested Beef and Fish, but me no likey. This puts me at 552.4 of calories alone in Protein. Yay for muscle maintainence!

The rest of those calories, I'm going to have to divy up between at least 3 servings of dairy (which is covered in cheese) vegatables and then the rest to the following:

I am going to factor I am going to take 10 grams per day of fish oil capsules along with:

1 Multi-vitamin
5 grams of Sodium
1 gram of Potassium
500 milligrams of Magnesium
600-1200 milligrams of Calcium

And the best part is, I am taking 3 pills of the Lipodrene during the day as well to help with the appetite and energy. Yay!

My workouts are going to stay the EXACT same that Steve gave me, minus the metabolic work and volume of the weight lifting... Also, no cardio for me! Yay!

I think that pretty much sums it up.... I still need to work out a few kinks, as I will probably work in protein powder in their somewhere. Maybe cut down on the eggs a little bit....

Ok, so basically, I'm doing a PSMF, which stands for Protein Sparing Modified Fast. It is a quick way to lose fat, while just getting enough protein and the essential nutrients your body needs to maintain muscle. Steve gave me the suggestion and people say it's hard, but well worth it. I just want to get the losing part over with so I can go back to bulking up with more muscle mass.

Friday, July 31st Post:

Hello!!

Yesterday I decided to forgo the weight lifting and go play some softball practice again. I really love how it gives me a total body workout. I need to get my throwing hardness up for when Fall starts. Also, I love putting my hubby to work too.... hahaha.

Today is going to be a break day as well, because I have a bevy of things to do:

-Return some shoes I bought last week to Buckle. Pick up my MEK's I have had on layaway. (and yes, they are size 10's.. Praise Jesus!)
-Take Zoey to get her third and final series of shots.
-Pick up an air mattress
-Get ready to go to the dunes baby!!! Yeehaw!

For breakfast, I had 2 string cheese, 1 yogurt, .5 liters of water and 1 lipodrene. I'm still awaiting my boss to come in so we can get some work done before I leave at Noon! Excellent, Smithers....

I'm excited to start my RFL on Sunday and to see how fast I can drop the fattage on my body... I don't think fattage is a word, but who cares??

Some awesome quotes of the day!

Strength lies in differences, not in similarities. -Stephen Covey

You can always tell a real friend: when you've made a fool of yourself he doesn't feel you've done a permanent job.
-Laurence J. Peter

On stage I am the actor, director and the bouncer all at the same time. Fear does not exist in this dojo does it? No Sensi! Sorry... when I get excited I have to toss in some Karate Kid quotes. -Dane Cook

Now onto today's post:

Just to recap the Friday and the weekend...

Friday, didn't do a workout of any kind... just ran my errands, which included:

-Returning some shoes at Buckle, which in turn, I ending up buying 3 shirts, 1 pair of Big Stars, 1 pair of MEKs that I had on layaway and 1 pair of Rock and Revivals! The R&R's are soooo freaking cute! I pretty much spent a portion my share of the money from when my hubby spent $1800 on his truck...
-Took Zoey to get her 2nd set of 3 series of shots... she is turning out to be such a great dog! She can sit, lay, stay and shake! It is so awesome!
-Went and saw The Proposal with the hubby, such a cute show! Ryan Reynolds is a such a freaking hunk!

Saturday was an errand day as well...

-Me and the hubs got up and took the pups for a walk on the trails around 10:30... it was so hot already....90 degrees! This walk was the first time the pups tried to stop in the middle of the walk and lay in the shade... good thing I had the camelback to provide water for them and hose them down when needed.
-Went and bought Zoey a new collar... she is getting so big... about 18 pounds now!
-Went and got the hubs truck washed
-Went downtown to Rodizio Grill to eat ... uh, I definately stayed conservative with the food... they came around so much!!

Sunday was a "coma" day... me and the hubs slept pretty much all day, then went food shopping for my RFL at like 8:00 at night...

Which leads me to the most up to date news of the RFL diet....

It only took me 1 hour to prepare my whole weeks worth of food. I made eight servings of cucumbers, celery, 2 oz. of chicken breasts, I boiled 5 eggs and bought some fat-free cottage cheese, fat free milk and have some string cheese. I'm excited to get it going and hope that I can get down to what is a comfortable weight so I can go back to maintaining.

I'm going to check out Lyle's forum, as per Sensa's suggestion, to see if I can get some tips for doing the diet.

Ok, well, that pretty much sums up my last few posts! I miss you guys and will catch up soon!

Bring it, girl!! :cheers2:!! Sorry to hear about the lab. Glad you replaced him though. :) Congrats on your baby! How cute!! I'll be watching you!! Glad you are back, woman!

If you thought I was pissed at you in post #217, that is nothing compared to how mad I am right now. You got down to 21% bf and didn't even post a picture here?!? Once again, WTF! :cuss:

:D

Well, welcome back anyway. ;). Congrats on the baby, I added one myself. I mean, my wife played a role too I guess. :D

I wish my wife would join this site. I think she would be highly motivational for a lot of the young moms here. After both of our children she was able to lose her weight very fast. That part is without a doubt, due mostly to genetics. However, what wasn't entirely genetic was getting herself to the leanest levels she had ever been to, both times! Unfortunately she's not the message forum type. She has me convinced that moms can be sexier than ever after having children. I have no doubt you can do it too.

I hope you stick around awhile. Great to hear from you.

Derrick :)
