BansheeBabe's Diary!

Ha Ha! You crack me up crazy! Let me demonstrate the awesome Cyber Sex, I mean, CYBEX machine... please see pics below...

No, no, no. THIS is Cyber Sex...

Me: So, what are you wearing?
You: Not much. Just a pair of socks and a smile. :)
Me: Mmm, that's hott...with TWO T's.
You: HE HE HE!!!
Me: I'm unbuttoning my trousers right now.
You: Take 'em off big boy!
Me: Big? It's HUGE!
You: Really? Because I heard it's actually pretty small.
Me: Umm...what?
You: Yeah, you know...not small like a kitten, but small like ant larvae. Or, like a slightly crushed peanut M&M. Not a whole one, but just part of one. You know, like that one M&M in the bag that just quite didn't make it? Yeah, you're that small.
Me: ...
You: ...
Me: ...

And then one of our dad's walk into the room and catch us, and then we shut our computers off really quick and pretend like we were doing homework. But, they totally know what we were doing and tell our moms about it. Then, our moms give us really weird looks in the morning when we go downstairs and eat our cereal. Yeeeeeah...cyber sex.

Good Morning Fat Loss Lovers!

I had an awesome weekend! I went and saw Transformers (so cool) Harry Potter (loved it) went tanning, rode the RZR and had fun with the pups up in the mountains!

Steve has just given me an awesome routine and I plan to put it into effect tonight. Granted, I have been doing my own thing for awhile but I need to kick it up a notch to get my body bangin'!

Here is what he/we decided:

Routine A:
5 min of cardio
Foam Rolling or Dynamic Mobility Stuff (my gym better have the foam rollers)
Squat - 3-5 sets for 4-6 reps
Bench - 3-5 sets for 4-6 reps
Row - 3-5 sets fro 4-6 reps
Single Leg DB Romanian Deadlifts - 2 sets of 8-12 reps
Bicep Curls - 2 sets of 10-12
Planks - 2-3 sets of 30-60 seconds

Routine B:
5 min of cardio
Foam Rolling or Dynamic Mobility Stuff
Deadlift - 2-4 sets of 8-12 reps
Overhead Press - 2-4 sets of 8-12 reps
Chinup - 2-4 sets of 8-12 reps
Single Leg Squats - 2 sets of 8-12 reps
Tricep Extensions - 2 sets of 10-12 reps
Pallof Presses - 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps

Metabolic Circuit:
30 sec on and 30 sec off
Jumping Jacks
Burpees
Pushups
High Knees
Jumping Jacks again
Bodyweight Squats
Also, will include some latters, sprints and anthing else that can keep me moving until I collapse, which is a good thing.

These Routines and Circuit will correspond to the following days:

Monday: A/MC
Tuesday: Off (trail walking/jogging with pups)
Wednesday: B/MC
Thursday: Off (trail walking/jogging wtih pups)
Friday: A/MC
Saturday:Off
Sunday: Off

And obiviously, I will switch days the next week, depending on how I feel and how burnt out I'm going to get.

My goals are going to be this:

18% Bodyfat

It is definately achievable, but I know it's going to be hard. I really want to get to my goal weight and be able to start training for Fitness Compeitions by the end of the year. I think that is pretty conservative, so the sooner the better! We will just see how my body takes it!

Food so far today:

1 Banana
2 Yoplait Yogurt
2 Cheese stick
1 Apple
Handful of Wheat Thins

Well, kids I'm off to Steve's Forum! Anyone want to join me?

Those pallof presses are part of my routine also. They are surprisingly hard actually. For an exercise that doesn't seem to have a tremendous amount of movement to it, you can reeally feel them in your torso.

BTW, the workouts look killer! Stick with that pattern for a bit and you'll be tight, toned and oh so sexy in no time!!!

hey banshee, just checkin out the diaries and stumbled across yours, it's made for a pretty good read to kill the last hour of work anyways :) glad to see you're still kickin ass, not too much further for you to go, you're gonna feel great when you finally hit that number! Anyways like I said just stopping by to say hello, good luck with the new workouts!!

My guess is, since I haven't done a few of these, that my body is going to respond quite well. Steve gave me a routine that gives me more "bang for my buck" in his terms of working out and I trust him completely! I'm going to do this routine for the next 4 weeks and then switch it up just a tad, so my body doesn't get used to it.... are you over on Steve's forum too? I think I might have saw a user named "Cabbie" or something like it....

Thanks for stopping by! It is slow close, I can taste it, yeeeeoooowww! I'll have to check you out as well!! Have a good night!

Yeah, I hung out there for a bit, but haven't posted in a while. I was actually one of the early members there, there used to be an emoticon of a taxi in there with my screen name. I felt like I needed a different kind of support and found this forum worked better for me.

Oh I see! Yeah, I definately like both forums just so I can stalk Steve and get his input whenever I can.

im over on that forum as well bansheebee.... i just dont get as much interaction over there... so i stick with this one for the most part..... good info on both sites tho.

Whenever you can get inspired to put forth a great effort, you should see results. I'll be here cheering you on Bansheebabe!

You don't have to switch your routine to keep your body guessing every 4 weeks. A lot of people get caught up in the mentality of switching for the sake of switching and you should only switch when it's right for you and your body.

When is that?

It's different for everyone. Some tell-tale signs are:

- strength plateau
- achy joints
- demotivation and boredom

And when this happens, typically (especially with the first 2) it's not a matter of overhauling the program. Rather, it's a matter of tweaking the intensity and volume for a week or two to let the fatigue subside.

So, with that, you may keep the same exact exercises for the same number of reps and sets... but you'd back off the weights and increase from there.

The thing is, when this should happen depends heavily on the individual... I've seen novices ride the same routine and make "gains" for a year.

Granted, there is something to be said about switching things up a bit for the sake of sanity... but that's something altogether different.

And that's completely fine. Some people around here think I created that forum to "steal" members from here and that's so far from the case it's silly.

BI forum is more niche and it won't cater to many here. I keep the doors open to anyone, obviously, but don't get mad or upset about not fitting everyone's needs, wants, etc.

And I spend more time on this forum than my own, lol. Many of the people on my forum know what they're doing so it's more for support and hanging out. I like it here b/c there are more newcomers who need guidance and that's where my passion lies.

Thanks so much for your continued support Derrick! I love my friends!

That is good to know... see what I'm learning everday?

Also, good to know. You will be the first to contact when the above happens.

I hope that is the case with me.

I don't think that.... everyone should be open to new things and new information.

Of course not!

I agree that most know what they are doing and I love your advice to people. It is priceless.
