BansheeBabe's Diary!

way to go girl! you look awesome! You are certainly doing a great job and the progress you have made is evident in your pictures!!!! Keep up the good work!!! :)

Today is a fabulous day!! :hurray: Well to start off and relive yesterday's events...

Regarding my Speeding Ticket: I went to set up a payment plan for my $400 ticket and the lady and the counter was like: "Do you want to talk to a referee and see if you can get it lowered?" and I was like: "Sure... if you think it would help?" So, I walk over, wait for a second and then this really ornery lady calls my name. This bitch would not even look me in the eye... :toetap05: Nonetheless, she heard my story and took off the illegal lane change (which would have been an extra $90 and 40 points on my record) and now I only have to pay $310! I have mad negotiating skills....:sifone:

NOW ON TO THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY YESTERDAY!!! So, I was talking with STEVE yesterday and I found out he got a chocolate lab.... he is so cute! Then by some miraculous design, I was driving home and saw lab puppies for sale! I immediately pulled over and saw a small girl, chocolate lab for only $150 with papers! So, I picked her up and we have a new addition to our family!! I can't wait to get a decent pic of her and I will post it. I can't wait to tell Steve! Crazy stuff!! :hurray:

Weight wise, I didn't work out last night but no biggie... my husband is going to be home from being out of town from work this afternoon and we are going to hit the gym hard tonight! I want to tone up baby!! Also, my food intake is right on track and I'm feeling good eating clean...

Lata peeps!!!

I have a 6 year old yellow lab named Sam. He is a good dog now but they are a challenge the first 6 to 10 months. Congrats on the new addition. I'm sure she will bring you lots of laughs. Don't forget to be a good neighbor though and let her in when she barks. ;)

I have a 3 year old yellow lab. Ive had 3 labs and shes been the best. She is very well trained and doesnt get into much trouble at all. Though, I have to say that Derrick is right, the first 6-10 months are very challenging with labs. They need lots of attention and training. The chewing is the hardest part to deal with. Is your dog inside or outside? Anyway, good luck and congrats!

by the way....congrats! you are such an inspiration. You look great, as if you've been thin all your life!!!

Glad someone could relate to me on the boob issue. In this society, a girl's chest is a very important part of her appearance! So I'm really looking forward to being at a more manageable size.

I know 1000 calories doesn't sound like a lot. I'm just triyng to lose weight rapidly. I'd really like to lose at least 60 by January. At least. So I need to do some major dieting. Any suggestions, besides starving?

OH that is so cute! Well acutually, we have a german short-haired pointer already that is two named Zeek. They are a similar breed in that fact that they are used for hunting. We had a way hard time with him when he was a puppy as well. So far, Zoey is doing really well! With having another dog around, she kinda picks up on what he does. They both sleep in our garage and for the past 2 nights, they have slept together and she has not barked or yipped once! Yes, she already likes to chew on my hands and anything she can get her hands on but she is doing extremely well for a 12 week old pup! See the pics below!!

Thanks! I have always wanted a lab along with the german short-haired pointer we have now. I know exactly what you mean! We are really good with training and she is inside and outside! My husband has a shop with lots of land for his Dad's buisness and so we take him down there to run around ALL day... when Zoey is big enough, we will take here down there as well.

Thanks!!

Heey Banshee,

Just dropping by to see how things are going! First off, the pictures you have posted look amazing! Be very proud! Keep up the focus, youre really close to your GW! Also wanted to comment on the new family member. I had a lab growing up, and they are truly loyal, loving creatures. Great split decision! haha. Have a good weekend!

OH thank you so much! You are sweet... Well, actually, I was thin growing up and when I graduated I kept up with my bad habits and gained 40 pounds within 6 months. It was scary and crazy. It took me a long time to get motivated to start to lose the weight but I'm finally glad I took those first steps. To be honest with you, in my experience, I have wanted to lose the wieght fast too, but I noticed that it has been better to let my body do what it needs to do. I just make sure I eat extremely clean (raw veggies, raw fruits, lean meats {chicken, seafood}) and really be conscious about what I'm putting in my mouth. I do treat myself at least once a week. I think the key is going to be mixing up your calorie intake. That's what I do. Do 1,000 cals one day and then boost it up the next day to 1,600. Switch it up like that everyday to keep your body guessing. Also, if you want to drop weight fast, cut out all sugar, starches and processed fat and drink lots and lots of water. You will have to make sacrificies to lose weight fast, but it can be done. I also would suggest doing lots of carido and lots of wieght lifting. The more muscle you have the more calories you will burn. On days that you lift weights though, that's the days you need to increase your calories. I'm no expert, so you may want to get other people's opinion as well. Just a note, I also take Fish Oil supplements to give me good fat throughout the day. Hope this helps!

Hey Andy! Thanks for stopping by the journal! Thank you very much, I still have a ways to go but yes, I'm almost there! I love both of them! They are so much fun to have and right now, it's better than having kids!

You have a good weekend too, I'll be checking up on you.....

Also, I'm going to try and hit the gym today but I might end up going late, which I totally hate. I might just end up taking the pups on a hour walk up and down our trails behind our house! :jump:I get sore in my shins doing that...

Also my husband called me and said he has decided to finally buy a Polaris RZR S today! :party:I am so stoked! You can take these babies anywhere! They have a way awesome supsension system with HUGE tires and sweet wheels. They also can go up to 63 miles per hour... I'm totally digging it! I have attached a picture so you all can drool :drooling:and want to go for a ride... bwahahaha!

Hey hun!! Thanks, yeah we ended up getting it on Saturday and rode it around all day at my husbands shop. We are going up in the mountains with it this Friday, so I'll post some pics then!

I actually took the pups for a walk and took the ipod to clear my head. They were really good but Zoey got tired halfway through, so I had to carry her the rest of the way.... I'm DEFINATELY going to the gym tonight... it has been SOOOO hot here! I need to lift some weights tonight!!

Feeling so anxious today!

So last night, didn't make it to the gym. :angelsad2:

My Husband's parents got a new puppy, they named her Miley (gag me :ack2:) so we went over there to check it out. We ended up staying later than I would have liked and really got annoyed because his parents were really bugging the shit out of me. We got Subway for dinner, which was delish and by the time I got home, I just wanted to pass out.

I'm trying really hard to step it up to shake this last 15 pounds or so and make it to the gym everyday but I think my efforts are going to be in vain this week. My sister is up from Lake Havasu for the 4th and so is my Husband's Aunt from back East. I have never met her before, so this should be fun! We literally have something planned everyday starting tomorrow... so I think the best I can do is watch my intake and move alot so as not to gain anything. I don't mind maintaining at all. I just don't want the scale to go back up!

Well, I have a long day ahead of me today and tomorrow will be my last day this week! Hallelujiah! :coolgleamA:

Hi, thanks for dropping into my journal!

Thought I would return the courtesy.

The Polaris looks like a lot of fun.

Events can intrude on our carefully-laid plans, can't they? But I'm sure you can hold the line, no problem.
And if you have as much going on while your guests are there as you say, maybe you'll be too busy and active to have to worry about intake.

Have fun!

You look great! You've done an awesome job, and those last few pounds will be gone in no time.

Congrats on the new puppy!

Now to catch up to you :p
