It sounds like you had a fabulous spur of the moment trip. I think the trips/nights you don't plan are always the best.

I am seriously impressed that you still kept track of what you ate. It doesn't matter that you gained, at least your back here now and making an effort :D
 
Hey guys and gals!

I've been having a really rough time at work these days. Always really stressed, really dreading work which I haven't had this kind of feeling ever really.

I know I have it good that I work a relatively flexible job that pays well but the stress is just getting to me big time during this last stretch. I work as part of a project management team for a construction project and it's about 1-2 months off from completion and just so much stuff going on all the time. It's like an endless list of problems that keep popping up.

I have been eating okay this week but not as pure as I could be. I'm still at 187 and I have lost my way in packing my lunches, buying my groceries to be stocked on healthy foods, been eating more at work but still avoiding the greasy stuff.



Mon:
I had a last minute out of the blue invite for a snack late monday night from a friend i haven't seen in a long time.

tues:
had planned a dinner with a gal friend of mine for tibetian food - supposedly healthy but it was closed on a TUESDAY...>< so we went next door for indian which is kind of heavy.

wed:
had mah jong yesterday, didn't eat too much so that was good.

today:
french dinner with 2 friends

fri: nothing yet
sat: bbq (another meetup.com group)
sun: bbq + board games ( at my place )

next weekend : my birthday

Definitely in a bit of a slump, i'm just feeling lazy, tired, sleepy, moody (can guys feel moody? I do), grumpy, stressed. My friend said i have a lot of white hairs...IM 27 DARNIT!!!

ahhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

okay...not sure what but i need a wakeup call of sorts. I'm just so lazy right now to do anything when I get home. I just want to blank my mind out...

That was a really great idea on the mini trip!
Its ok about the gain it happens what matters is that u are still trying havent given up.
I hope u calm with work matters i am sure it is making u eat the wrong stuff.relax as mch as you can and do come back on a regular basis we miss u!
 
I feel moody a lot too, and yes, men can get mood swings!

I hope you get back into the swing of things. It can be so hard, but the benefits are so worth it. You're doing well, just focus your mind on the task, and remember that you can do this.
