Bad Feet Has Ruined My Life - Need to get healthy again.

OMG!! I haven't been this low for probably a year.

That's 4.2 lbs in 2 days!!

jjjay My clothes have been getting looser and looser. I especially notice with my jeans. My stomache has shrunk for sure. My moobs have not as usual!! I have been getting more compliments these last couple days. It feels good. Oh and I tried some old clothes that didn't fit for a while just because they were too tight and they fit much better now! Stones...heh! What a strange unit of measurement!! :)

coming obstacles :

friday - japanese tapas for a birthday
sat - brunch for another birthday ...probably hang out after too so...probably dinner out.
sun - no plans..yet.

Everytime I lose a couple lbs, I feel like I can open up and eat some 'bad' foods. Like noodles and rice at work.

I'm resisting temptation of steamed rice and drunken chicken which I love!

I already know the weekends are trouble..which is something I need to work on..so I need a nice cushion. And plus I just added a 4th planned outing for food ...sunday brunch.

I hope I can hit 185.0 tomorrow, snap a picture, feel fantastic and give me extra motivation to keep it up!


BF: Almond milk + banana + cereal ~350 cals

Lunch: Bowl of congee with peanuts ~ 350 1 cup of plain congee = 66 cals. I think I had like 2-3 cups, plus probably about 20 peanuts and probably a lil fat
boiled bok choy ~50 cals

Snack: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cucumber ~ 200 cals

so far - 950cals

I like knowing my cals half way through the day. I'm gonna do this more. It helps me.

I kind of want to go home and eat somethign satisfying. Not sure what though... I really enjoyed the can soup and it was only 200 cals. Oh i want to make my own vegeatble soup in bulk and have something low cal and guilt free to eat on.

After I got home..

I ate:

1 can of light chicken noodle soup ~150 cals Mmmm..pasta!

12 mini crispies 100 calories

Half a papaya 70 cals


New total SO FAR - 1270 calories.

I still feel a bit hungry and it's only 7:30
 
I had 2 bowls of brothy chinese soup - 100 cals
5 mini crisps - 40 cals
a bit of pumpkin/vegetables ~70 cals

So total for today 1480 Cals

Not bad.

I can't wait to see the 185 number on my scale tomorrow :)

Woot woot!! So happy..but also hungry!

The real challenge will be limiting the damage over this weekend.. It's filled with outings.

The other good news though, is my thighs are not sore today. Yes - my pathetic thighs from squatting were so incredibly sore this whole week. So I will be able to get back to the cardio this weekend.

:))) 0.4 more lbs and everyone gets a picture of me! Early christmas present! ;)

I have got to say, I am loving all the minigoal pics up here today!

Only 10 pounds, and you can already see the difference! Specially in the front way on pic, you look so much narrower, and your belly looks slimmer.

WELL DONE!!!! :hurray:
 
Ruthie - Thanks! Yeah, I can't really notice too much on the side. And especially since the picture sizes shrink in the after pictures (I just choose the lowest pic size on my iphone), it's harder to really see.

The front one is more noticeable..i look like my whole body is swollen in the before shot!

The before FRONT pic i looked at it many times,it looked kind of stretched out.Wondering if the picture wasnt right but from what u said to Rainbow i assume the pic is right and you have just lost weight and looking really fantastic!!!the front pics are more noticable then the side ones.
Your belly has shrunk,a lot , you've gone inwards!!!and thats 10 pounds only!with your better eating habbits and workouts you are going to be super duper smokin hot!!!!!(well after me of course!!!)
 
Jasper. Thanks!! Yeah the picture looks funny for some reason but I took them both with my iPhone and didn't alter it. Either that or my body looks funny 10lbs heavier!

Yeah let's not rub your smokiness in my face! :) No one likes a showoff, Jasper!! You gotta be modest when you got The goods! Bill gates doesn't roll around screaming "im stinking rich, peasants!". I'll settle for being the second hottest :)

Yay for Friday!

I have had minimal food so far - and my stomache hasn't been complaining, although my mind has a little.

Breakfast - almond milk + cereal = 200 Cals

Lunch - blueberries, raspberries, blackberries ~200 Cals
- 1x laughing cow cheese triangle = 70 Cals

So far 470 calories. Probably eat something small when I get home and then go for birthday dinner :)
 
KEN, those ten pounds really made a difference... your before is about the same size as my oldest son he is 5'8 ..I didn't notice if you said yours..do you mind me asking?

...and I know that ten pounds would really make a difference on him too...I just have to fight with his football coach..."he is the starting center and we can't have a skinny mini on the line"...so you would be skinny mini...in the football world we live in..CONGRATS :):)

i was reading your diary and at one point I was getting worried with all your cheating days and many outings with friends!!!
so the reading was good specially when right now i see the heroe of this story is doing good :)

I know how hard it is when u go out and u cant do or eat what everyone else is! even at work- men they always have those cakes or pot lucks.... but i try to resist as much as i can ( specially the cakes lol ) i just keep telling myself : Ally think about it 1 min of pleasure for a long term dissapointment!! " so i generally walk away from the treat lol

tetemcg - Thanks! Yeah, quite surprising what 10 lbs can do. Even at 5 lbs down, I felt a lot of clothes getting loose. I am 5'9 so pretty close to your son. That must be frustrating to have a coach tell you he's better off being fatter for the sake of the team! The good part is, he is young, active and most likely healthy for now. I think it's hard especially after high school (I'm assuming your son is in high school) when you don't have PE classes and usually aren't as skilled to be on the college teams AND continue eating as if you were as active.

sweetyxsempre - Thanks :) And Yes, I find it very difficult to figure out how to act during social outings which of course include food :) As a guy, it's just difficult to say "I'm on a diet" or something to that effect! As for my cheat days...yeah, I am still calibrating my diet and how to deal with different situations. I have this app on my iphone called Targetweight - it's really simple but keeps track of your weight everytime you weigh yourself and I like seeing the daily fluctuations and reminds me that I'm not going to lose weight in a straight line. It's a daily fight and sometimes I'm going to lose...but hopefully I win more often than not :)

So I went out for a birthday today and after my very low cal day of:

almond milk + cereal ~250
blueberries + blackberries + raspberries ~200
half a papaya ~ 70

Japanese Tapas - shared: tuna tataki, tofu + chicken, pork belly bimbimbap, pan fried udon with clams, negitoro pressed sushi, sashimi salad, cold ramen, really fatty pork pieces. FROZEN creme brulee (which was actually quite good), mochi (gelato wrapped in sticky wrap). ~ 1200 cals wild guess of course - portions weren't huge but there were some very fatty tasting dishes

Total = 1720 cals

I should still be under my daily recommended intake because of what i ate before the meal...hopefully!

Brunch tomorrow! Hoping to get some exercise in tomorrow since I haven't been able to all week! Good night!

So I found my original June 28th before picture because I was thinking I actually took too big of a picture and had to resize the image in order to fit the under 100kb limit for my first post here. I actually forgot about that so I dug up the original and noticed I don't look swollen like the other one. I resized it - properly this time!
