oh manz....i think i'll go to the korean food stall tonite! can't wait any longer.

hey i had seaweed for lunch today. I made some handrolls. look like the jap kind but the filling is cheesy... heheh.

wow we r all food addicts here. let's set up stall somewhere!:D
 
Food is just so YUM!
I'm not a good cook by any means (lord knows I try though)... but I enjoy everything I cook/eat :) Probably one reason why I got so dang big hehe.
OO it's late.. dern didn't even notice the time.
Gotta get to bed!

SO I did my exercises today and am feeling just spiffy.
I did the 20minute workout and the Ab Jam.
Well.. did some of the Ab Jam. The standing up ab stuff is ok, but when they get to the floor.. damn is it hard hard hard! I just can't do most of it right now which sucks, but hopefully one day I will be able to start doing it.

I also did about 25minutes on treadmill but once again started getting a cramp at about 18mins in. I really wanted to go the 30minutes but I just didn't want to push the cramp to hurting worse than it did.
I'm gonna have to start drinking more water before and while I'm exercising or something.
 
Ok so my calories today have been pretty up there.
I've had about 1500-1700 today.
It's not totally bad though :)
 
Cramps are EVIL!!!!! I have such a hard time with videos, I'm just a big old klutz! I'm sure you're doing much better than I would with TJ. With your treadmill walking, how much resistance are you using? Sometimes if I use a treadmill and I cramp up I try walking backwards for a while (whole different set of muscles.) I don't know if this would work for you, just thought I'd share! Good luck, and have a productive day!!

Anywho.. since I'm doing the Oldies vs Newbies challenge.. I weighed in today and it read 222 :) I guess my official weighin day will be on Fridays now to accomodate that.

So... 1 more lb gone and a bunch more to go!! Today started off rather late so I gotta go get my exercise on now! I'll be back later!
 
Well... I finished my exercises today. Did 20minute workout and 29min treadmill.

This marks a big milestone for me.

Every single time before where I wanted to lose weight and exercised. Every week I would only do it maybe 3 times a week... The other days I would make up some lame excuse to not do it. I was too busy or too tired blah blah bullcrap.

But this week, even though I SO wanted to use those excuses and could've....
I stuck with it and exercised every single day! WOOHOO!
I was really struggling to exercise today. I didn't sleep well.. and had things I wanted to do, but I told myself NO! I'm gonna finish this week off! It's only one more day before my rest weekend.. I can do this.. and I did... Yay yay yay!!!!

I just need to keep this up and I'll be at my goal in no time :D
 
Woohoo - congratulations!!! I was the queen of excuses. But I feel so much better and on my rest days (Sunday) I'm fidgety and end up doing something anyway! lol.

You are doing so great!! Keep it up!!
 
The excuse factor is one reason I'm doing early morning cardio - I hit the alarm, throw on the gym clothes and toss my own butt out the door. I'm not really awake til I'm already halfway to the gym, and then it doens't matter. If I DON'T go super early, it's sooooo easy to make an excuse for why I shouldn't go today. Morning means I do it without even thinking about it!
 
Welp... today's food intake was pretty good.

Had about 1200-1600 calories today. Big gap b/c not too sure about dinner.
We went out as we usually do on Fridays to a Japanese restraunt and I had chicken and shrimp with rice and veggies.
The only serving that was huge was the rice and I ate less than half of it.
The rest was pretty small.
But I estimated everything up so my cals might be higher than what I actually ate :)
It's all good though, it was YUM and I enjoyed it! hehe

I'm looking forward to yet dreading Sunday. I love fair food but damn is it so bad for you!
Thankfully I'll be getting in some exercise from all the walking we'll be doing though, but not enough to burn off anything :rolleyes:
I actually can't wait for Monday to get here so I can start exercising again :)

Ok so... we went to the fair today.
And even though I restrained myself, it still wasn't great eating-wise hehe.

Lets see... we got there at about 1pm. And went straight for lunch.
I had a chicken on a stick (grilled thigh meat) with veggie tempura (onions, potatoes, sweet potato, green pepper)... And lemme tell ya... It was gooooooooood.

After that we walked to the building containing bf's familys' stuff entered into the fair (dolls, quilts, etc).
And in that building, they bake fresh chocolate chip cookies. Good thing about them is that they're fresh, and oh so soft and only 1dollar for 2 which is uber cheap for anything at the fair! So we had to get some of that. I ate one while bf ate the other.
We then hop to the next building over and I get strawberry Dippin Dots that I shared with bf (was a small serving of it, he ate half I ate the other).

Day goes on... we walk around some more. Everything is actually going pretty well even though I feel like I was getting fatter by the second just breathing near all of the yummy food stands hehe.
I finally get my fried mushrooms and *droooools* They're just the best things EVER!!!!! OMG everyone just loves them and I stood in line for a good 10minutes waiting to get them hehe.
They're hot and fresh and I don't know what they do with the batter but it's so goood! Batter isn't that thick icky crud you would get with most stuff, but it coats the mushrooms just enough to make them YUM. I eat most of that (shared some with 2 other ppl).
And then when we were leaving I got my elephant ear with powdered sugar and cinnamon that I ate when I got home (shared some of it with bf) :)

So all in all, I was bad, but not as bad as I thought I would be hehe.

As I said before, I'm just glad we only go to the fair once, b/c if we kept this up I'd be gaining a ton of weight heh.

I could use more of those mushrooms and cookies though :D

glad u had so much fun at the fair.... think yr bf helps alot. can always share food with u hahaha.

Lol.. I did enjoy it a bunch :)

BUT as usual.. when I walk for so long or just am on my feet for a long period of time, my feet started to hurt like crazy and now I have small blisters on my little toes :rolleyes:

I hope it wont affect my workouts later b/c they don't really hurt, but I might have to take it lightly.

I am a bit bummed that we weren't able to go grocery shopping though and won't be able to go until next weekend!
I'm gonna have to really hold back on my snacking now. I still have plenty of cucumbers left though so I will hopefully be ok hehe. :D

Welp... I just took my measurements and I'm happy with some of it and confused by the rest.

These aren't exactly where they were taken last time b/c well.. I couldn't remember exactly where I did measure for some of them hehe. :D
So I just measured the fattest parts and went with that. Even still.... it's proving that I am shrinking, I just wish some would start shrinking along with the rest hehe.

First number will be what I took on the 4th of this month.. so about what... 1.5weeks ago?
And 2nd number is what I just took a few minutes ago :)

L Upper Mid Arm- 16.3....15.3
R Upper Mid Arm- 16.4....15.3
L Upper Mid Thigh- 28....26.6
R Upper Mid Thigh- 27.6....26.5
Bust- 43....42
Chest (under breasts)- 39.3....37.5
Stomach (above bellybutton)- 40.5....40.6 :mad:
Waist- 38.2....37.8
Stomach (below bellybutton & also includes some upper butt :p)- 47.5....46.5
Hips- 49....46.5


So... I'm happy that alot of the numbers have gone down, BUT... I'm really confused and mad about my stomach staying the same :(
I guess it's b/c alot of the exercises haven't been really focused too much on the midsection or something. Also probably helps that I can't do the floor ab stuff which I have to do today in a little bit.
It was suggested to me to get an exercise ball though which will keep me off of the floor but still work my 'core' out. So i'll be getting one of those this weekend when we go to the store :)
Or I might just try the Power90 ab routine. From what I remember, it wasn't as weird/hard as the Turbo Jam one.

Wow! just look at the difference in those numbers! congrats on your losses, keep up the good work and maybe put in a few ab excersizes and the mid section will start to melt away too! and also, you know what they say about problem areas-they are always the last to go!
