Ashys Diary

My day wasn't bad. Not really sure how the tests will fair, but we shall see. I am pretty sure I passed them both C or better.
Man... I saw my reflection today and wowza. I am sticking to my diet. :p I know I am doing something for myself, but I still can't stand how big I am.

foot stuffs:
Chicken nuggets (370)
veggie wrap (360)
turkey sub (380)

total: 1110

Man, I know how it is with the water thing. I definately don't get enough in. I'm trying so hard and I usually end up having 4-6 glasses. Which is not the
8-10 that is suggested, lol. I'm just not a drinker, I never really drank anything juice, milk, water, nothing! I just don't feel thirsty and I don't think about it. So it's a tough one!

Anyways, hope your water, eating and exercise are going well! One day you'll look in the mirror and like the reflection, it just takes time to lose the weight. Damn time... I hates it, lol.

Haha, when you don't know which tense to put the word, just change the sentence around, that's what I do! LOL

Don't fret. I can look back at being a very muscular 130 pounds and thinking that I needed to lose weight or tone up. UGH If only I had appreciated how thin I was back then. This time, I WILL appreciate it. When that day comes, we can call each other to gloat as we strut past our full length mirrors;) :D

I hear ya Tif! Man, back in the day when I was teeny tiny, I was STILL self concious about my weight...If only I'd known lol.

Ashy! Hope you're doing well! Missin' ya around here....

~Nic~

omg - we play world of warcraft too :p
that game does 1 of 2 things...
Make you fat from eating at your computer, or make you skinny from forgetting to eat.
So sad.... So... sad. lol

Im in Atlanta - GSU. Finished a final this evening! I did pretty well.

Hehe, Sorry totally new to these forums, My boyfriend and I are also gamers, cept we play Everquest2. I know all to well what you're saying. Ordering out, and eatting in front of our computers has been our life for almost 3 years, and I'm actually finally giving it up. So all in all I'm giving up My online entertainment, take-out, and on top of that smoking =P Suffering from 3 addictions  I'm gunna read more from you, but wanted to add that in there and say Goodluck to you! :)

OMG, my bf and I play world of warcraft as well. We're on Cho'gall, too bad it wasn't the same as yours! I find I don't have a lot of time to play it like I used to with my cardio kickboxing classes and whatnot. Ah well! I agree, it makes you fat because you eat at the computer and are inactive. Even if you forget to it it's unhealthy and you're still inactive, lol.

Well ladies/Gents its been a few days since I posted, but over all i am doing well as far as my diet is concerned. The scales were very cruel to me this morning though. I stepped on it and it said I lost a pound.. But I just had to step on it again... it put the pound back on. I repeated this process until I learned yep... I didn't lose the pound.
God I hope it happens soon. It's now Day 25. I've lost a total of 5 pounds. I know its not bad, but I want more. :(.
This next bit might be "tmi" but its pms time ladies and I dunno about you, but when that happens I want to eat everything. This time of the month is the true test. If I make it through this... Then I know I am dedicated.

GAMERS:
haha risty, what class do you play? Alliance or Horde? Grr!
Yeah, this game has made me so freak'n lazy. My computer is totally my relax comfort zone. The game is bad in a way because it gives you that false sense of accomplishment. Like... "wow, I just killed something 4 levels higher than me. I'm freaking awesome."

I never played everquest, but a lot of people that play wow have. I just wasn't introduced to MMO's until wow came along 2 years ago. Yes, I've been playing it this long. Maybe when the 3rd year rolls around I'll quit playing too. God I hope I do! But my guild is really starting to kick butt and I'm enjoying it. I will be taking my bike to NO so that i can try out some of their trails.

More good news is that wooooo I have a month break from school. I'm going to visit family in New Orleans this coming week. I havent seem my parents since thanksgiving so this will be nice. Just have to avoid all the yummy food they have down there.

As far as the water thing is concerned I have been drinking a lot of crystal light.. From what I understand is if you don't drink things with sugar/caffiene in it it counts towards your daily water needs.
The tropical punch is awesome. Even my husband will drink it and he hates artificial sugar.

I hope this big post makes up for the days I was gone. Cheers to you all! Hope you're having a great day. :)

Hi Ashy, thanks for saying hello in my diary. Too funny on you and Risty playing WOW. One of my sons is very into it. He told me Tyra Banks had someone on her talk show who actually let his baby cry while he kept on playing WOW and his wife was very concerned. LOL Um, yah, that would be a concern alright. Waaaaaahhhhhh!!

Hey! That's great that you have some time off now!! Although I find it a bit harder to get motivated for my day when I have NOTHING to do ;) lol. Visiting your family will be great!!
PMS time is NOT easy, and I find if you DO stick to your diet, the results are great RIGHT AFTER the PMS time is done...So there is some motivation :D

Ciao

Risty: Hey, sweet, cho'gall. I have a couple of friends that transfeered off of bleeding hallow that are now on cho'gall. You may know them...Eielia...and Analie? Heh...a few more, but those are the main 2 that pop in mind.

And ashy: its been about a month since i canceled wow, and haven't missed it since. I guess raiding 5 days a week, from 730pm-1am, for about 6 months can really burn you out

Good news: I lost the freaking pound. Just one more to go and I'm out of the 180's!!!! *crosses fingers* come onnnn 179!

Yeah Anna I have heard babies crying in the background before and kids screaming. Its really pathetic. o_O

Yeah I don't raid that much. I guess thats the beauty of 10 mans right now, theres only so much space. Gotta share.

Hey, I play the alliance. My main is an NE priest, although I do almost one of every char, lol. I don't play often enough to get anywhere with them though, however my priest is 67, I definately wanna get to 70 soon though and work on getting gear and bringing my next char up.

I remember watching my bf play it and thinking hell this is boring to watch. And then one day I decided to make a char on his account, boy I tell ya, it was hard to let him have his turn ;) It's a fun game but I'm definately not obsessed with it, I was moreso before I started really getting into my weight loss and lifestyle change.

I never have raided 5 days a week and I never will. It would be hard to get me to do it once a week :p Instances are stressful when you're a priest and everyone's life depends on you, lol.

Oh and DeepGreen, I don't know them but I'll add them to my friends list and say hi :)

Thats so funny risty, thats exactly how it happened for me too. I hated watching my husband casting fireballs over and over again... So I was like whats so addicting about it? So I sat down and played... Then he wouldn't let me play anymore so I made him go buy me a copy. haha.
NOOO deepgreen, you must resist temptation!
And thank you! I feel that next pound coming off soon! I hope I behave on my vacation. If I get access over in New Orleans I will post while I am there. Cheers!
