If that wasnt, the lunch was actually tiny. 2 packets of oatmeal, with maybe 7 pieces of brocolli and just about 6 pieces of sliced chicken. I didn't have time to make any decent lunch so I just ate that :/.
 
Another exhausting day!

Breakfast - 2 packets of oatmeal

Lunch - Came back very late, had a banana, and a pb and j sandwich. Turned down iced coffee from parents :).

Dinner - Brown rice served with my variation of chicken slices with brocolli and a glass of orange juice.

Probably gonna hit the hay, long tiring day.Classes are getting stressful already :(.

I'm an accounting major, and I gotta keep up with the material or it'll get really bad. That plus the other courses Im having will make this a not fun semester! But its a challenge and I'm up for it. :)
 
I decided to walk home from school today. It was cold, so my legs got stiff during the last mile home. But I made it with no blisters, very happy!

Breakfast - 1 packet of oatmeal

Lunch - handful of wheat penne pasta with around 8 slices of grilled chicken and stir fried peas and carrots

Snack - cucumber salad

Dinner - bowl of special k cereal with low fat milk and 1 slice of wheat bread with pb and j

I meant that oatmeal is filling, maybe your packets are smaller than mine or something.
 
Ah ok, lol. Well Im sure the packets may be the same size. And well I am a guy :). And plus, It was around 4 PM when I had that lunch, and I havent eaten since 7 in the morning. Was starving!

Alrighty, for 2/1!

Breakfast - 2 packet of oatmeal

Lunch....- LONG day today, didn't come back home til 9:30 PM. Had 1 nutrigrain bar, and that was it. I was starved. Gonna pack a snack for Thursdays, from now on.

Dinner - think i overate. 1 and a half handful of brown rice served with brocolli and leftover fried fish. I know..fried :( but I was so hungry and too tired to grill my chicken :/. I also had around 4 egg whites. Cup of coffee with splenda.
 
Im glad to hear your staying on track. I have the same problom sometimes, too tired to go the extra step or not enough time. Lolli will be posting recipies soon which should be great, fast and easy.

Thanks for the encouragement :). Im always looking for new recipies, mine get dull pretty fast, lol.

Breakfast for 2/2 - pack of oatmeal and 1 serving of yogurt

Lunch - went to a restaurant with my bro, and dind't clean the plate (maybe 1st time ever, lol) although I dont think the dish was relatively healthy

Dinner - brown rice, stir fryed beef with green peas and carrots.

its amazing to see weight loss just by eating healthier.
 
For 2/3

Today was my brother's birthday, I tried my darndest to not overeat anything bad.

Breakfast - packet of oatmeal

Lunch - 1 1/2 handful of wheat pasta with stir fried chicken and brocolli with more veggies.

Dinner - banana, and 1 piece of KFC chicken...It was so hard to resist! And 2 small slices of his cake, which was mostly topped with fruit.

For 2/4

Breakfast - packet of oatmeal

Lunch - can of tuna with light mayo and srirachi sauce, 4 egg whites

Snack - cucumber salad with oil/vinegar dressing

Dinner - same as lunch but with 5 egg whites.

It's great to be back on track :). Thanks again for your continued support, it helps so much.

Weight loss, for me is like 99% psychological. If I feel like I can do it, I can. But of course it's not just only me, its what I get from the forum. Reading people's struggles definately helps motivate me. The last couple of days Its been pretty hectic, very busy; as I cant post as much as I really want to.

And today is Monday....I weighed in at 314! Im relieved to see a loss, I really didn't push myself at all this week. The weather's been tremendously cold and I really can't do much of my walking. The commute to school and back is quite a journey, so I'm relying on that for my walking, hehe.

I'd also like to mention that its a shame to see my family eating so unhealthy. Many of their dishes are over salted, greasy and loaded with processed grains. All 3 meals! It's difficult for me because I need to wait for them to be finished cooking before I can start my own. As we all know, brown rice definately takes a lot longer to cook than white rice, etc.

Anyways, Im posting from my school computer center and I need to go study. I'll be back hopefully tonight. ;)

What freezing days we've had in NYC!

Anyways,

Breakfast - packet of oatmeal

Lunch - came backa round 4:30PM - had 5 egg whites and two bowls of my mom's soup. It was loaded with spinach, carrots and some beef.

Dinner - 2 pieces of whole wheat bread with chicken and peas stir fry. I also had another slice of whole wheat bread with pb and j.

I need to try and cut down on the jam, gonna try and find some sugar free jelly soon. Since it's pointless for me to drink coffee with splenda, when Im taking in sugar thats in the jam ;).
 
I was thinking, one of the worst things for me about losing weight, is the wait! No pun intended ;).

I can feel I'm losing it on a consistent basis, but its not going fast enough for my liking. This is a healthy pace, however. But I'm itching to finally feel looking good to the public...its just such a long wait.

At the pace I'm going I'll probably get down to 200~ by the middle of 2008. Ugh! Frustrating, but yet Im so happy to be losing weight again. Such a remarkable feeling! :eek:

dont worry about the small slip up kinyo - it shouldnt be very significant in your weight loss. as long as you stick to your routine the other days it will be fine :)

Are you counting the calories? This really doesn't seem that bad.

a PB sandwich when made with Jif full fat pb 2 tbs is only 295 cals, that's 195 pb and 100 bread (but then you have to add your jelly).

I couldn't imagine that oatmeal being that bad either.

I was disappointed by my weekly weigh in for the Feb 2 lb challenge. I was up .5 lbs from Last Thursday! But, I didn't gain the weight overnight either.

M2M, I definately dont wanna do this over again! When I hit below 300, it's agonna be a hell of a relief for me. But on this pace it'll be like..2 years before I get to a weight I want, lol. But thats life I guess.


Sorry I havent been able to post much, nothing new has happened other than being busy with school. I havent exercised as much as I wanted to, damn winter :(. I loved those walks in the park. That and with family home (damn them, I wish they were back in China :p, I miss my freedom!)

Daily caloric intake Id like would be 1500-1700, sometimes I'm a little over and soemtimes I'm under. I love the pb, but the j is probably bad. Lot of sugar and HFCS, trying to get that out of the diet. The past two days I've been having salad with grilled chicken with ranch dressing, its been really good. Trying to cut back a little on the carbs, even though the carbs Im taking in are the good ones. ;)
