Oh Kinyo - I have the shrinking balloon effect, I see it mostly on my legs and to a smaller extent on my arms - but you know, in time, what elasticity I have might shrink it up a bit, and you know - I'd rather be fit, healthy and thinner with wrinkles then overweight and puffed out skin ;)

As for the tuna, I have it almost every day - sometimes I throw in some fat free ranch - it has 30 calories for two tablespoons and adds a lot of flavor!

Yay for 10lbs :D!!! and congrats on the new found stamina, energy, feel-good, etc. Keep it up, you'll be at your goal before ya know it!

Thanks Jess,

Yea its just difficult because I did put on a lot of weight without thinking about it. But now when you're thinking about losing it constantly, its a little bit difficult. That's why I come to the forums everyday and see the encouragement and all the tips, it's wonderful.

Yea I get a bit scared because it's not the most pleasant thing to look at LOL. But then again, the fat isn't a pleasant thing to look at. I'm sure I can always get surgery to remove any excess skin no problem.

As for tuna, I love it. Often I just need a little something with it. I have just eaten tuna by opening a can, draining and eating it right there. I feel like such a cat lol.

Had a wonderful day today, because of of yesterday's little overeating, I decided to cut back today.

Breakfast: Shake
Lunch: Cup of wheat pasta with a tuna tomato sauce and three egg whites.
Dinner: I haven't eaten yet, but I'm getting hungry, maybe I'll make a salad or some more tuna.

Went to the park today, it was freezing. I finally got a pedometer, and although It's been inaccurate 'til I program my walk stride perfectly, it's a great tool. I went around the park twice today, that's approximate 4+ miles. Adding the walk to the park and walking back, I walked over 5 miles today; and my feet feels great! That's the best thing about it.

Gonna focus on working distance now than timing, although I did make the first trip around the park in 31 minutes :).

Edit: Had a protein shake after lifting, and now off to bed. :)

Hey Kinyo :D Congrats on the huge friggin walk, man! I'm with ya on the tuna, to... mmmm. I go and get those big romaine leaves and put tuna with a little garlic and mustard in it, eat it like a sandwich.. actually a lil bit better cuz its got a crunch to it, rather than bread.
Do you have any set goals on what you wanna do in your walks? A certain amount of miles per week?? I should start setting mileage... might be a good idea.. hm. Anyways, seeya later :D

Thanks Jess,

The lasttime I walked 5+ miles was when I had finals week last year...not sure if you were aware when the NYC transportation system had a strike for a week? It was awful! So cold and it was the longest hike ever, lol. Both my feet were killed, huge blisters.

But last night's walk was very pleasant. The Dr. Schole's powder kept my foot dry, and after I got home i soaked it in nice hot water. Only complaint right now is they are sore, but that's expected. If it doesn't rain tonight, I'll go for another walk.

I'v always found walking to be a big stress reliever. Right now my best friend are my feet and my iPod ;).

I havent had a good piece of wheat bread for a while, but I'm going to have to give the romain lettuce a try.

Also have you tried natural peanut butter? Gosh it's so good, I had a scoop of it last night raw, lol. It's so chunky and delicious. But it ry not to eat too much of it, but it's definately good.

Had an ok day today, I couldnt go for a walk due to rain tonight in the city.

Breakfast, protein shake with a banana.

For lunch brown rice served with beef and brocolli, cooked with a little olive oil The worst thing I did was taking a nap 30 minutes after eating. When I woke up I felt terrible :(. But I'll try to make it up tomorrow, and hopefully the weather will be ok.

Dinner String bean and bamboo shoot stirfry with a little olive oil served on a package of tofu.

Feeling good towards the end of the week :).

Gonna hafta admit- I'm NOT a big pb fan... lol. I'll have a little bit on my whole wheat english muffin, or I just bought some of these really good protein bars(oh yeahs, taste amazing, little proteiny aftertaste, but nothin I can't handle) and their more of a meal replacement, but they are peanut butter and carmel with peanuts. Holy hunnies, fantastic!
I recall the big strike... I remember thinking it was really funny, lol(sorry...) Not sure why, just that, I dunno, Montana? We don't really have an issue with that
I'll try to make it on here tomorrow night before I go to work all weekend, but if I don't- have a great weekend, don't give in or up! You're doin fantastic :D

Thanks guys.

I don't drive, thats why the strike was bad for me lol, and plus my school was 5 1/2 miles walking distance. Wasn't very fun at all.

Every now and then I get a PB crave. One thing I'm gonna miss is having pb and j on whole white bread. It was so darn good. :p I'll settle for it on wheat, and just a little jam for now though :)

Ok, pretty exhausted :)

Breakfast: 2 packs of Quaker flavored Oatmeal
Lunch: small serving of wheat pasta with a shrimp/mushroom tomato sauce and a couple of egg whites
Dinner: 2 packs of Quaker oatmeal, peach and banana, with a few egg whites

Did another 5 miles today, and it was so beautiful cuz it started to sprinkle snow! But then it got soggy due to sleet and I came home :). Another day tomorrow!:D

Forgot to post yesterday,

Breakfast: Shake with Banana

Lunch: Went lower carb than usual, 2 pieces of chicken with a side of vegetables and mushrooms 2 small slices of whole wheat bread

Dinner: Went a little off here with a predinner snack of 2 servings of cottage cheese. For actual dinner I had 2 bowls of cereals. Forgot the name it had a lot of nuts/almonds to it. I felt pretty bad :/

Non-school nights suck because when I stay up late, I tend to have some near uncontrollable habits to eat!

1 More day 'til weigh-in, I hope I have a loss this week.
3 More days 'til family comes back from their trip in China.
Can't wait. (No pun intended ;))

Hey Kinyo,
I definitely understand those near uncontrollable habits to eat - but if you're really snacky at night, it might be because you need more food throughout the day. I'm not sure how many calories you're getting each day, but maybe having more meals but smaller, with one later (closer to that snacky time).

Yea :/

I think maybe I should get some low fat granola bars or something to keep in the kitchen when I do stay up late and have the crave of munchies. It's pretty difficult to try not to eat anything past 7PM, when sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights when I stay up to as late as 2AM.

See, I don't have any time restrictions on eating - more often then not, I can't get dinner to the table until 8 or so. Going from 7 until 2 is a loooong time! I'm sure I couldn't do it!

Well, had dinner at 9 PM :/.

Anyways, for the day,

Breakfast - a dozen egg whites, lol. I used a little reduced fat mayo with srirachi hot paste, mixed it a little and dabbed it on each piece of egg white, wasn't bad at all.

Lunch - PB & J on whole wheat with a glass of fat free milj

Dinner - Yea, I ate at 9 PM, only because I came back from my walk (5 miles today yay) around 7:30. Afetr showering and fooling around a bit, it was already 9 and I was starving! But anyways, Small piece of chicken breast, grilled with veggies served with a piece of wheat bread.

Hopefully! This late meal won't do anything to my weigh-in tomorrow. Gonna guzzle down my water to help break the food down.

Ta Ta :D

So long as I've been in my calorie range, when I eat doesn't seem to effect the next morning's weigh in.

Have a good night Kinyo :)

Hey :D Hope your weigh in is FANTASTIC!!!!!! You've done some good hard work in the past week- MUCH more than I have, I will admit, lol. Have a great day tomorrow, will talk to ya later!

I wouldn't say that, lol.

Ok, today's number was thankfully nice for me; 317. 4 Pounds for the week, not bad at all. I don't wanna lose too little, or too much. A nice healthy loss for every week would make me happy, and 4 is the number I like.

Seems like my 9PM dinner effect anything ;). And yet, I was so worried!

Sometimes our worst enemies are ourselves, lol. :)
