April's Journey to "135"

Actually I'm alternating hot and cold. For the exact reason you said . The heat helps the bloodflow and can reduce the painful bruising. The ice helps the swelling and numbs it some. I'm just like Christina, falling down all the time, so I'm practically a pro at treating bumps and scrapes!!!
 
lol thanks for your comment. i just wanted to let you know thanksgiving was the one day i splurged and i did eat almost everything on my plate in that pic!

haha i see newbride was slow too on figuring out it was you but i figured it out before she did so that makes me feel not so bad! :D
 
Hey Sweetie just called you and wished you better, I heard you fell and was worried about you but you are probobly hobbeling around the grocery store. Hope you feel better Hon. (((HUGS)))
 
I was at the store! I'm sure I looked funny. Leaning on the cart to take the pressure off. Actually it feels a little better. Julie, I got your message and tried to call you back but you're not answering either. I'll be home the rest of the day though. If I'm on here my phone won't ring but you can call my cell since it's Saturday! I truly hate shopping! I was out of everything and ended up spending $150 and still didn't get all I needed! John's gonna flip! Oh well, we gotta eat, right? Well, so far today I haven't excercised I'll try some situps later.
Breakfast: coffee- 2 cups
water- 36 oz
1/2 bowl honey smacks cereal(all there was in the house!!)
lunch: water-36 oz
no food( good plans for dinner though)
 
You guys are actually calling each other? That's so great! I wish I could too, but I don't have long distance included in my cellphone plan - that and most of you guys are in a different country anyways so it wouldn't be "included" anyways.
 
HI!!!!Its me magenta,got your message,thanks for telling me about this place "april"I wont disclose your other name here!I have missed you,been very busy.I stopped taking the phen a few months back.It works great while on it,but as soon as you stop,boom all the appetite /bad habits come flooding back!
It really is getting too many people on there talking about the phen too much!I would rather talk to people who are trying to do it the natural way!
My sister inlaw had her stomach banded when she was around 232lbs[105kgs],she went down to about 198lbs[90kg]and didnt loose any more!
My mum had it done when I was in high school[called stomach stapling then],lost a heap of weight,but slowly regained most of it,today she is around243lbs[110kgs].
I am begining to realise that there is no instant 'cure'.A complete lifestyle change is what 'works!
 
Hi Magenta! Honey, I'm sooo glad you came! This place is so awesome. I think you'll like it alot better. So, how have you been? To everbody else, I want you to meet Magenta! She is from Australia and she is a friend I made on another weightloss forum that I used to go to. When I first came here I mentioned that the support there was terrible. Magenta was one of the only people I could really count on to be there! Magenta, we have tons of really supportive people here and we are all doing it the old fashioned way. Hard work and healthy lifestyles! Ok, I'm walking better now so I'm gonna start on my Christmas decorations today.
BREAKFAST: 1 slice bacon
2 scrambled eggs
2 small homemade biscuits(made with light margarine instead of shortening.
24 oz water
LUNCH: 6 oz tuna/ i dill pickle/ 2 slices cheese
36 oz water
DINNER: grilled sirloin steak w/ A1 steak sauce
small baked potato w/ 1 tsp light margarine
1 cup green beans
24 oz water
Only decorating work was straightening out the tangled up lights. Walked 1 mile, slow. Did 2 sets of 20 situps.( had John force me!)

Welcome to the boards Magenta, I can't wait to see your diary! And don't worry I have a soft spot for the junk food too, I've found portion control to be much easier than cold turkey, and many of my old weak spots just lose their power over me over time!

April, have fun decorating the house! I'm glad your leg is feeling better!

Sorry I never called you back yesterday but some parade went down our street so the kids had to go and then Dan came home and now I see your man is home so I wont call today and bother the two of you, but you are in my thoughts and Im so glad your leg is feeling better I was worried about you. By the way Hi Magenta good to have a friend of Aprils here shes an amazing person inside and out.

I was shocked at the time on your post but then I remembered where you are!!!! Well, I didn't get much decorating done but at least I got the lights straightened out. John put them away last year so you can imagine the mess they were in! Ok, lets get the day started!
BREAKFAST: 2 bacon/egg tacos(moved it all into one tortilla)
1 cup chocolate milk low fat
water: 24 oz
I'm trying to increase my calcium and I hate reg milk.
SNACK: 1 pckg of peanut butter sandwich crackers
LUNCH: Atkins Advantage shake
12 oz
DINNER: 1 serving MaltO-Meal
24 oz
water for the day- 60 oz ( oops! I was asleep most of the day)
Tried to do the stairclimber thing this morning but that movement still hurts!
walked one mile slow!

Take it east April dont push it till that poor little leg feels better. Sez the Carmen Electra DVD workout are you talking about the striptease its a good one I have it!!!!!
 
oh i had just taken hubby to work it was about 3 in the morning i think lol

oh the joys of being a truckers wife lol
