first, i'm only looking for functional strength over aesthetics. So, is there anything wrong with ONLY doing compound lifts for building solid fully functional strength? Here is my routine
Mon, Wed, Fri
(not in any order)
Squat
Bench
Deadlift
bent over row (over and under grip)
incline bench
pull-ups
dips (weighted)
standing overhead press
Tues, Thurs and Sat or sun
mixed cardio Usually HIIT
i've been at this routine for about a month and a half and have noticed great improvements.
I'm just curious if its cool to keep going with this style just increasing weight as i go?
Any advice is welcome! Thanks in advance!
