cooking is soooo fun^^

Ange, I wish I could get into cooking. Don't get me wrong, when I DO cook, I enjoy it. But I'm always so busy with work and working out that I never have time to cook, so I end up eating a Lean Cuisine for dinner five out of seven times of the week! I hate it! Plus, I'm not too creative when it comes to putting meals together. Need to look up recipes . . .

ahah while we're at it.. maybe ill add mine..

5 strawberries 20 calories
1/2 banana 70 calories
1/3 cup of fat free plain yogurt 41 calories
1/4 cup fat free milk 23 calories
______________________
total calories: 154

you can add more milk if you like it less thick. not very many more calories if you add it in! 154 and it makes about 2 cups!! wooo. so gooooddd

Wow, that sounds delicious Lux. I have every ingredient for that recipe but the strawberries. Racing to go pick some up now! :auto:
 
bleh... im kinda down... thats why i have posted much... im starting to slack... sooo i am cutting back on the weights =T i am just not quite ready yet... lol... i am overdoing it... and its making me binge and skip... D: lol... im a little embarassed... i definitely wont quit =D i just need some more time to adjust and create habits.

but i will reply to yall later^^ thanks soooo much for giving some recipes =D i was getting bored of my banana yogurt smoothie. you guys are amazing, i wouldnt be nearly as motivated without yall =D slow and steady wins the race... lol... sooo im slowing down a bit...

yeah ive been cutting back a little on my weights this past week. i think when we are too eager we may bburn ourselves out! SLOW AND STEADY wins! :) dont give up girly! :) :)
 
Hey just popping in to give big hugs :hug2: since you're feeling a bit low...hey I can empathise, since I'm a bit cruddy myself right now. It's at times like these that we have to be extra kind to ourselves and give ourselves a break. :) It's not that easy and so many times we forget to do it.

Don't worry about a few slip-ups here and there, we all have them and what counts is the overall calorie intake over a period of time, and that takes hard work to maintain.

After all it's not just a quick diet we're after but hopefully starting a brand new healthy lifestyle which will last for years & years -- haha, listen to me, yo-yo dieter of the Century.... Pfffft.. :rolleyes:
Anyway you know what I mean:)

All that cooking sounds like fun; I wish I could get into that but I'm so darn lazy and also too worried I might get tempted to make tasty dishes and fall off the wagon.:)

Maybe make a real extra effort to ensure you are get proper meals in cos that really helps with reducing the bingeing.

Don't give up! Like you said slow and steady wins! We all fall down sometimes, what counts is that you get back up and when you do you will be that much stronger!!

I think it's awesome that you are cooking for your family I mean if, like you said your mom really wasn't doing much to help her self then you taking the initiative to cook helps you reach your goals that much faster simply because you are in control!!!:hurray:

by the way, I searched the Internet one day looking for all kinds of juicing recipes and I have a bunches on file. If you would like I can attach it and you can have all kinds of different stuff to choose from ;)

I haven't done a lot of juicing cause I don't have a juicer :( I just use my blender. .LOL

well i have been sick for a few days but now... im getting back on that motivation train >=D mmm... since i am totally hating the weights atm... i am switching it up with adding 3 extra miles =D 8 miles a day... i absolutely love walking ^^^^^^^^^ omgosh! i seriously do... weight training can come later =P soo from february till the end of march i am trading in my weights for extra cardio... 2 months of 8 miles a day... sounds amazing!!!

isnt it true that cardio is better for burning fat than weight training? mmm... and the movement will allow my body to get fitter... soo perhaps weight training wont kill me in a few months^^ gosh i seriously love everyone here^^ yall make me sooo happy and keep me inspired to better myself daily =D i couldnt do it without you guys^^ ... (well i could but i would have already quit D: )

hehe yeah actually i have tried cleaning the juicer D: omgosh that is wicked insane! not fun at all... lol ...my rabbits are totally loving the healthy foods... hehe because they get the scraps =D mmm and that smoothie is sooo yummy!

mmm... i have been looking up recipes in cookbooks... lol and it is kinda annoying because i am used to having the calories with the recipe like you find on the internet... lol these are all old cookbooks... some of them look like they are like 20 years old 0___o all my mom and dads... hehe^^

mmm i think it was from being sick =P although i have decided i dont want to use weights yet. i am not sure what sort of bug i got... but omgosh i have felt like junk lately. time to get up and workout^^ i totally need those endorphins =P

haha sooo now that i have that under control =P

mmmm... today i have eaten:

breakfast: (not my best effort)

-bread - 120 calories
-cream cheese - 100 calories
-homemade grape jelly - 80 calories
TOTAL: 300 calories

-soup =D -150 calories
i made it with an egg, chicken boullion cube, and cut carrots, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli... super yummy!!!

1400-300-150=950 calories left

omgosh it feels sooo good to be keeping track of my calories again... now i am fixing myself up to do those 8 miles >=D strong woman!!! but seriously yall have no idea how worried i was about stepping on the scale. T_T i was sooo afraid i would have gained like 10+ pounds back again and put myself back at my starting weight D: ... oooh btw... sunday i wore a pair of pants i havent fit into in forever... im not saying they looked good but i was actually able to button them..... =D cheers!
