ohhh right!!! the parade...

it went decently... i tried to fill up on a big bowl of salad... it was made with spinach as the base... yum yum... then i had a bite of a cheeseburger pizza, and a cheesy alfredo ( nasty!! it tasted tooo blue cheesy) and then a chocolate chip pizza and a... chicken alfredo pizza... they ran out of the spinach and chicken one i wanted to try D: but ohhhh well =P i didnt have like 6 slices like i used to... i controlled myself very well in my opinion ^^

btw... basically they just run around with different pizzas and you tell them if you want a slice... there is a salad bar as well as a couple of pizzas sitting off to the side.
 
OMFG!!!I just did the 30 Day Shred, it aint easy:)!!!I think between that and the 10 min trainer, you should check that one out adn hip hop abs one can easily get in shape, LOL!!!

whoahhhh! omgosh that is not easy... i got 5 minutes in and was like i cant take no more D: jeez... i am not ready for that yet!!! xD haha soooo i guess its just going to be simple sets and reps on my own... WOW!!!

i just really hate strength training... D:
this challenge is forcing me to get out of my comfort zone
of walking... which is good... but change is soooo hard!!!
i did about ten minutes of upper body strengthening

lol @ pizza parade, good marketing :) Glad to hear you didnt do too bad at it, you gotta let yourself have some of that stuff every once in awhile or you'll go crazy in my opinion...I was reading an article one time on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and he said that like once a month he'll order a cheese pizza and drink a six pack of beer just to keep himself normal, now that's a diet I could go for!
 
Oh wow, pizza parade, my drool would have filled the entire room --- gross but true.

I don't think I've had pizza in about 3 months, that's pretty good going, to be honest, and a biiiig old sacrifice.
We used to order delivery pizzas at my place after the pub, almost every other weekend or go down to Pizza Express (a just on-the-edge-of-acceptable-pizza-chain restaurant in London but conveniently close to my house) and have La Reine pizza with side salad. That's ham & mushroom & other stuff. Oooh I can't bear to think about it, it's too painful, lol.

Hey I tried Jillian Michaels Shred -- I noticed you said you were starting it -- and I frickin hated it. Why don't you try Turbo Jam as well ... it's THE BOMB.

pizza parade, huh. I always liked pizza, my problem right now is chocolate and ice cream, but I think I have figured something out, portion control. My fiancee is hiding the chocolate and I get little pieces at night. And I am happy in a controlled environment. Sounds sad, but true.

as far as weight training, what does it involve? I dont go to a gym, but I have weights. I have looked in magazines and I see peeps doing lunges and what not. I am guessing the one against the wall would be a killer, but I plan to try soon. My muscles are so week.

Hey Girl!!

OMG I been so busy lately! I am missing all the fun here :banghead: school's a bitch right now!! I get there at 6:00 am :driving: and leave at 6:00 pm ... I get home I have patients on appointment in the clinic till 9:00pm, then I stay and sterilize all my materials plus: homework, exercise, eating taking a shower... so on that when I'm done its like 12:00 am or 1:00 so.. I'm getting somewhere over 4 or 5 hrs of sleep... I'M EXHAUSTED !! :(

still I really miss u!!! everyday I think of u guys! specially now I'm thinking of u I am totally loving my schedule! With the time I have being organized has been great 4 my stress level lol... I have my schedule on my locker in school, so I see it all day long.. pff hehehe. I didn't read a lot of what u've been up to but still I know u have been great!! its obvious! ;) keep up the good work as usual hun :party:... I hope I can soon come back to my normal self hehehe... lost of luv!
 
OMGOSH! i think i have just hit my first plateau!!! 0_____o idk idk idk!!! but ive been stuck at around 195 for quite a number of days D: im kinda wondering if im not eating enough... 1400 calories... i think im going to read some of the stickies and figure out what i need to be doing... LOL! any advice you guys?!? haha well im happy ive hit 195 ... but seriously just seriously! being there for a week gets old fast =P
 
Aww don't worry, it will eventually start to come down again ... you've just got to hang on in there. Sometimes that's what the dieting game's all about, just need to have patience because it does take time.

In most cases, the weight comes off fast at the beginning, then it starts to slow down..... then you might lose a whole lot suddenly out of nowhere .....and so forth. But don't give up. It's the classic thing a dieter does - hits a plateau & thinks they're doing something wrong and gets discouraged.

But I reck you should just hang on in there & keep doing what you are.

Mind you I could be completely wrong, and please anyone else is welcome to correct me on this as I am no calorie/diet expert. Far from it lol!
You could also double check on Fit Day.com or my fitness pal.com to see if 1400 is the correct amount for your height/weight etc to lose pounds.

you've only plateaued for a week, which is really not a long time at all... so I think, give it another week at least and take another look.

Honestly I have dieted so many times, and always had to remind myself that losing weight takes time.... it really is a waiting game, a very frustrating and trying one, and you need soooo much patience and faith to stick with it.
So hang in there OK :) {HUGS}

FG - you are right... having a naughty fun day isnt going to hurt us... but having a naughty fun week, month! or YEAR can and will... =T we can all see where those naughty times have gotten us! D: but we are changing our habits and thats what counts!

sophia - i will definitely try the turbo jam when i have the chance... haha and with the shred i figure doing at least 10 minutes of it a day... by the end of the week i will have my 60 minutes of strength =D im actually not a major fan of pizza. i would die for a chinese buffet though >=D ooh and endless sushi *_*

kc - omgosh i had no idea you were a chef?!? mmm chicken with broccoli and pasta with a cheesy sauce... now that sounds scrumptious! i need to start figuring out all the nifty little ways to cheat myself out of extra calories but feel fuller... mmm like... applesauce instead of butter or something in cakes... 0__0???

premed - !!!whoooh girl!! nice job on working it out at the gym ^_~ i will be sooooo happy when i can just workout for fun and strength... versus because im obsessed with becoming the full package... genuine personality, healthy body, and sexy woman :3

ednita!!! - i miss you tooo =D i hope you are remembering to eat LOL! you sound like a mad woman rushing about everywhere. i would like that... sooo i wouldnt be about to be a grazer all day long... but i wouldnt care for the lack of sleep one little bit =T i dont handle sleepiness well... haha... last night i fell asleep at the kitchen table... xD because i was working hard on the house all day... and then i worked out... it was just toooo much! <3
 
hint for avoiding dissapointment on the scale, if you have a digital one anyways, take off your shoes...sounds stupid but shoes weigh a little and when I see that at least i am down even a little bit it makes me feel better...not sure if this will work for anyone else but I am constantly visualizing myself losing weight, I think that maybe I can eek out another percentage or so of my brain that will just burn calories without moving, lol...yet another dumb comment but that's what I do, visualize and take off my shoes, lol
