@ADDIE haha. Thanks for coming by. Personally, I think were gonna take 1 and 2 on that v-day challenge thread. We are just that awesome. :p

Yesterday was a WONDERFUL day. Had an early interview at HQ for position that looks interesting, and I KILLLLLLED it. I find out tomorrow, but I got back some great vibes from the manager. I ended up skipping breakfast because I was nervous about the entire thing and didn't feel like eating. Anyways, headed to normal work afterwards, ate my staple tilapia and some small grilled pork cuts (my mom made em for dinner, and they were SO good.) Had an orange for desert and I was off on my walk. There is a neat little park with a beautiful walkway. I've been exploring the past few days, and at 75 degree weather, it really cant be beat. So, I walked my mile, came back and finished work. Went home, and noshed on a chicken breast marinated with cuban spices, with a side of steamed veggies in cheese sauce. Possibly overate, which surprised me, but I managed to make it to the gym around nine. Powered through my 2 miles, got my runners high (I SWEAR its getting more enjoyable day by day). Also, did my arms on the machines, and im feeling the gentle ache this morning :D Finished up by meeting some old friends who I adore at a bar, and I splurged on 3 wheat beers, which was very good.

Today is more of the same. Had my breakfast this morning, and im working on my first 64oz bottle of water before lunch. Later tonight gonna get my miles in and work the chest/shoulders.

Also, I had a new low for even me......................

307.2

LOVE IT.

Sounds like you are hitting the ground running ! (No pun intended)

It's good to see that I'm not the only one who falls into menu repetition. I find myself eating the same things over and over again because 1) I like them, 2) They have proven to help me lose weight and 3) They require no thought on my behalf to come up with another meal that does 1 & 2.

Congrats on your weight loss so far. I used to live in Tucson so I know how nice the weather is this time of year for working out. Good for you for getting out and enjoying it!

Veronica - you nailed it. I end up buying the same stuff every week because I thorougly enjoy eating it, and its gotton me to where I am now. As soon as I can tell im getting sick of something, Ill swap it with something similar. Especially with my dinners. I bought a ton of fish, just finished em and towards the end I was only eating them because I already made them. Now I have some more chicken ready to go, and I'm salivating just thinking about them.

Another plus of eating the same is I dont have to worry about balancing my carbs/fats/proteins everyday, and one less thing to worry about it always OK in my book.

I am so close too leaving this 300 club. I want out. OUT I SAY! That will be a milestone day. I'm so ready to be there haha.

I feel like the little sister here, "Ooh me too, me too!" We're so close ... you specifically ;)

Since we're basically competing, I suppose I should officially ask, ...

*ahem*

ANDY! Will you be my weight-loss buddy?

I feel like I just asked you to the prom. lol :blush5:

Andy and Addiecakes sitting in a tree.... K-I-S-S-I-N-G (Smooches)

Your mid-day strolls have inspired me. You seem to enjoy them so much. I am tweaking my routine to include my standard morning work out, plus another ...something to get me moving twice a week. I'm thinking since I live near a nature preserve, that I will take advantage of it and walk there.

haha, YAY ... go team "Andie" :smilielol5:

haha awesome! I love it :p

Im jealous! Im not gonna lie, I dont know how much the walks effect my actual weightloss, but they are really enjoyable, and its easy to clear your mind. HIGHLY recommend!

Ate like a champ last night. My roomates are getting snitty that I dont cheat at eat a pizza every now and then haha. I mean, I feel like I could, I just dont want to. I like where my current food has brought me, and I feel like it can take me where I want to go. Its getting to be so routine I dont really think about it much anymore. I didnt go to the gym though, because I got sucked into the bama v texas championship game. I was a little disappointed when I noticed how late it was, and that my gym had closed, but ill just have to go in later today and tomorrow to make up for my missed day :S

Other than that, its smooth sailing this weekend! Wondering what my next weigh in for the V-day challenge will be, since its on 1/10. If you aren't on it yet, there is still a solid 6 weeks, so DO IT! :cheers2:

Happy weekend everyone! Finally arrived!

Pretty regular day yesterday. Had a nice surpise at 306.4 this morning.

I dont know the science behind it, but I swear my stomach is smaller. I eat SO much less than I did 6 months ago, and I dont get hungry much either. I'm thinking its due to the quality of food I do eat, and the fact I actually drink my water now. Weigh in tomorrow for the V-day challenge! its looking like 3 pounds this week, which is my goal.

and im off. whooooooosh

Keep up 3 lbs a week and you'll be at your goal in 19 weeks! Hmm...let's see, that's May 22cnd..just in time for the summer!

I am back from an altogether too short weekend, and I think I did a pretty good job. I got in all my water BOTH days, which I am pretty happy about (for a weekend). My weight did some crazy shifting because I decided to eat some grilled mexican the day before my weigh in. My water retention showed haha. Anyways, as of this morning, I'm back around to where I left off on friday at 307.4 Im sure 2-3 days from now ill level out and be giddy ect ect haha.

On the plus side, I finally swapped gyms to so I could go to the same as my friend. With new years rates, it was actually a better deal than where I was currently. But that figures right :p So, im hoping we can get into a regiment together and act as a support system.

I also just joined a biggest loser challenge in the other part of the forum. Looks like it could be a lot of fun :biggrinjester:

Other than that, it was a regular weekend!

Well done on the water intake... that's something I know I should work on!!

And also on joining the new gym... now just gotta make sure you go plenty ;) I find it useful to have a friend going too, it guilts you into keeping it up. x

Yeea. I had been going to a gym right across the street for the past 6 months, but it was easy to put off going. :nopity:

I was pretty good about making my trips, but the new gym was a better price, and I have a workout buddy now, so it was a much better fit altogether. And its certainly one of those "any little thing helps"

EDIT: Forgot to mention. Just got back from my walk. 1.5 miles over 30 mins. Beautiful day. I wish I wasnt dressed up or I think I would have taken a jog around here. Maybe tomorrow :x

What helps is hearing about all the positive changes everyone is making and how they're feeling so much better and....not wanting to be left behind! So, with that in mind. I walked to my gym today. According to google maps it's 1.2 miles round trip. A lovely stroll (and not bad for a warm up). Thanks for the inspiration Andy!

Nice! Yea, I agree it must have been a nice warm up! Thats awesome! :hurray: :hurray:

Now lets see, had a nice day yesterday. Got my water in, its pretty automatic now. Had a balanced chicken/veggies dinner and I went off to the gym. Started a new routine to incorporate more weight training. Boy, I felt it last night. Focused on my arms/shoulders. Essentially, I did 1.5 miles on the treadmill, went and did my lifting circuits, and finished up with one more mile.

Tonight im planning on a similiar workout, but going to focus on either my legs, or my chest/back. Ill figure it out when I get there.

Morning weigh in was at a low point. Im sure it has something to do with the heavy workout last night, and a little water got displaced. Anyways, came up 3 times at 304.2. We will just have to see where I end up tomorrow :coolgleamA:

You always sound so motivated in your posts! *jealous* No wonder you're losing quickly.

Enjoy your workout :) x
